The "incredible technological innovations" consisted pretty much only of ways to access the internet via smaller devices. Cancer and AIDs are no closer to being cured than before, world hunger seems to be at least as bad as ever, life's even MORE complicated than it used to be, and all these technological innovations only serve to make it easier for total strangers to know everything about you ...... I never got the hype over this. It seemed a passable thing to watch once in a while but no great shakes to seek out. Oh, and I disliked how we were supposed to root for the snotty kid bro while jeer at the rival owner merely because the rival owner was fat and older. ... (read more comments)

So the final season takes 21 episodes to show us a Robin Barney wedding weekend, where we see the "mother" for about 15 minutes total, and nothing happens in most episodes. The hour finale has them divorced in 10 minutes, Barney is just the same old dope he has always been, Ted's new love of his life just dies offscreen, and they reveal that he is telling his kids this story to get their permi...... It's hard for me to get into these Olympics when Putin is such a slimeball. I don't like Obama at all, but I'll give him credit for not going over there to support this guy. Also, the lack of infrastructure, the treatment of LGBT, the killing of stray dogs and the high price tag for little return ($51 billion!!!!) has sealed the deal in keeping me uninterested. Ice Hockey is the only sport of t...... (read more comments)

Yeah, the rape episode is kinda creepy......and they made it a two-parter no less. I saw the first part when it was first run but to this day have never seen the second. If it wasn't for google, I probably still wouldn't know who the rapist was, or his fate. I also don't like how his identity wasn't revealed until after he was shot dead.....so we don't get to see him confronted, arrested, tr...... (read more comments)

@Parker-LOL! Yes, I really enjoy BTTF as a series, however I recently watched it with my kids and I found myself repeatedly having to explain so many of the gags and references to 80's pop culture. For instance, the whole ZZ Top cameo and the spinning guitars thing in part 3 were completely lost on my 13 & 9 year old. ... (read more comments)

I have to say, I'm impressed with the 2.0 version. Even with the passing of it's main character, J.R., this show has held it's own. Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray are keeping it familiar and grounded enough for the original fans but the younger "offspring" are doing a fine job, too along with the storylines. ... In defense of Highlander 2, the film was beset with budgetary difficulties which stemmed from runaway inflation in Argentina (the filming location) while the movie was being made. Creative control over the movie ended up passing to the bonding company, which did a hasty slap-together job that became the original theatrical version, which director Russell Mulcahy disliked in the extreme (and tha...... I have to agree with the large number of voters who have said they officially unboned with their new CD, A Different Kind of Truth. One of the few cases where a TV Show stayed strong until the very end. It started with fresh characters and an interesting dynamic in the first season, ended with a very memorable cliff-hanger the second season, became really strong for the third season. After this, the show became somewhat a mixed package, mostly because there are only so many ways to con someone, but it was still going strong...... (read more comments)

In the more distant past (the fifties and sixties), there were spectacular UFO visitation stories, and occasionally photographs of the UFO were taken. They were uniformly bad pictures - out of focus, etc., and no conclusions could be drawn from them as a result. It seems that cameras either weren't on hand to capture the best stuff, or weren't able to capture useful images owing to limitation...... (read more comments)

No comments from the fan boys? This was once a cool show. Back when Morgan and Adam actually looked like they were enjoying reviewing video games and clowning around. Then it got too serious and dull. Morgan was cute nerd eye candy, but she did not take advantage of that and went into obscurity. The show's network was removed from directv early on, so I missed the final few years. Couldn't get ...... (read more comments)

That Primed for Excitement block they introduced is just dumb, since with that they introduced more non-weather programming. What's ironic is that it had to be pre-empted the week it was supposed to first air because of severe winter weather. TWC also severely overhyped From the Edge with Peter Lik.
