There's a station where I live that plays the same classic rock songs they did when I was in junior high. I'm 41 now. For whatever reason, 90s rock is anathema to radio. Songs from the 60s-80s? Perfectly fine. But not the 90s oh no, we can't have that! Not that I listen to the radio anymore anyway. ... (read more comments)

For some reason, they had Marvin Hamlish be on something like half the episodes. Yeah, I know he was a talented composer but, as a performer, he made George Lucas seem scintillating. What was up with that?... (read more comments)

To all the folks endlessly whining about the site, and JTScomments- from day one (2009) we wanted to import as many of the old Jump the Shark ("the scottish site's) comments to this page. So if you don't like it, move on, we wanted to get that content along with new content. The editing, and moderation is fine. So again, if you are one of the people that is unable to understand this, you bon...... (read more comments)

@bmovies...in case you don't know, several members of the site requested that I post comments from the old Jump The Shark site because they wanted to see them because they can't access the pages through the Wayback Machine anymore. If you don't like posts, you can ignore them. The moderators of the site clearly have no problem with me posting the content, so I don't see why it's such a big deal...... (read more comments)

It's hard for me to get into these Olympics when Putin is such a slimeball. I don't like Obama at all, but I'll give him credit for not going over there to support this guy. Also, the lack of infrastructure, the treatment of LGBT, the killing of stray dogs and the high price tag for little return ($51 billion!!!!) has sealed the deal in keeping me uninterested. Ice Hockey is the only sport of t...... (read more comments)

The 1st season of this show was about an aging family physician (Barnard Hughes), his wife, their daughter and son-in-law (John Harkins). Moosie Dryer played his grandson, with Mary Wickes as his nurse. Funny show in season one, good enough to be renewed. The 2nd season was a complete disaster. Everyone was written out. Doc's wife was killed off. The rest of his family apparently moved aw...... (read more comments)

Just about every commercial break has a Geico ad thrown in somewhere. I can't stand the pig (seriously, what the hell were they thinking when they came up with that?), the gecko is eh, the "did you know" stuff has gotten stale, and there were some "happier than" ones I liked (e.g. Gallagher at a farmer's market, Slinky on an escalator). That said, the commercials in general don't convince me ...... (read more comments)

I can be a bit of a conspiracy theorist at times and I really honestly think that 'Sam & Cat' was AG's little insurance policy if the new CD flopped. You know, CD flops, well there's always the show she could fall back on. It seems to me that when her music career started really getting some steam going, that's when we started hearing about trouble on the set. Just a theory.... (read more comments)

Corey (Ben Savage) is great in it as a middle school teacher who happens to have his daughter, Riley, in his class. Topanga (Danielle Fishel) is a lawyer yet we only see her in the home smiling and shaking her head and playing with their young son, Auggie. If you were a fan of \"Boy Meets World\", you\'ll enjoy seeing Corey and Topanga. Or if you can tolerate typical Disney: Over-acting, ex...... (read more comments)

I remember seeing this one when I was a kid. I thought it was cool when Captain Caveman was eating things, pulling objects (not always useful) out of his fur, and beating people up; and that it sucked when the girls were fawning and gushing over him ("Oooooohhhhh, Cavey!!"). All in all, though, it was OK. Its being a knock-off of Scooby-Doo didn't bother me much, as there were a BUNCH of those ...... (read more comments)

I have to agree with the large number of voters who have said they officially unboned with their new CD, A Different Kind of Truth. Even though I really love this show and watch it on lifetime, I have only a few problems with it. I was very annoyed when every show turned into a pulpit for Julia Sugarbaker and her women's rights/southern hospitality rants. One of the few cases where a TV Show stayed strong until the very end. It started with fresh characters and an interesting dynamic in the first season, ended with a very memorable cliff-hanger the second season, became really strong for the third season. I went back and voted for Urkel. Initially, Urkel was used as a cheap gag in one episode of this show about a working class Cosbyesque family. In the more distant past (the fifties and sixties), there were spectacular UFO visitation stories, and occasionally photographs of the UFO were taken.
