Van Halen BTF when their pirate leader left (or was fired, depending on which interview with Ed you read back in the day). I was a Sammy fan way before he stepped in to try and fill Dave's shoes. But face it - it ain't Van Halen without David Lee Roth! Sammy may bring the party, but Dave IS the party!... (read more comments)

As it was was with Batman, LOST IN SPACE was on penny pinching mold and despite the new theme song, that some site as boning, the financial aspect change of the course of the show: It resulted in the Jupiter II going from one planet to another and a curtailed amount of campsite scenes to probably cut costs. Not having cable, "SATC" was a show which I had heard so much about and was able to view when it came to "regular" tv via syndication. I was amazed at the level of writing in this day and age because I avoided sitcoms like the Plague. I found most of them stunningly unfunny and gravitated towards reality shows and reruns like 'All in the Family.' The witty dialogue of "SATC" is truly impressive...... (read more comments)

My 10 year old nephew and I always get into an intellectual discussion about how Elmo does not teach proper English. It's sad to see such a classic TV show bone when it focuses primarily on Elmo and Abby Cadabby way too much. In my opinion Elmo should have stayed as a background character. another boning point was that they took one of the shows original stars off, Kermit the Frog. Kermit had s...... (read more comments)

The fact that he is a biased political activist may be bad enough, but Sean Penn has gone too far with taking Argentina's side in the Falkland Islands dispute with Britain. To me, it was Gundam 00. A great idea, but marred with poor execution and lousy characters that got derailed a lot in terms of their traits and actions. It did, however, give me Nena Trinity (probably gonna get a lot of "Bones" for that), so the series wasn't 100% bad... just 99%. And people complain about Kira Yamato acting like a Messiah... Season 1 was brilliant. Season 2 was good enough, and was vital to the narrative. Season 3 and Season 4 are when it became clear that the show was being continued for the sake of ratings for the network, instead of being continued for the narrative. The amount of plot twists in 3 & 4, especially 4, were outrageous, and you could clearly tell they were only being put in there because the writers...... (read more comments)

A truly bizarre cartoon utilizing "Synchro-Vox", a curious innovation wherein the lower areas of the characters' faces are left blank and the lips of a real person speaking the dialog are superimposed there. Rarely seen today (I recall it from nearly forty years ago when TBS ran it about 5AM). There was a sci-fi cartoon, "Space Angel", from the same era, which also utilized "Synchro-Vox". ...... This show's main problem came about because of the development of the main story arc. This led to the show developing a split personality that was kind of jarring. One week Mulder and Sculley would see strong evidence that there was a vast conspiracy involv...... (read more comments)

No, you've got it wrong-it was when Peter Cetera _took over_ the band, essentially, that it got Boned (partially but not wholly due to Kath's death, so that's what I voted). Before they became "adult contemporary" fodder, this was a thriving ensemble band-sure, they were recording lightweight fluff from the first album onwards, but there was enough rock...... One of my bigger problems with the show was when they would start out with one plot, then 10 minutes into the storyline, completely change the plot and if we were lucky, we'd get a stupid resolution to the first plotline, usually in reference through a single line.
