I recently watched Disney channel and saw something interesting: "Have a Laugh", a segment where a classic cartoon would be shown. I was elated...FINALLY, we get to see the good old cartoons that made Disney great! I chose to watch it, but there was a red flag: the words "Short Version" on the title card. "It's 7 minutes or less. How do you make a 7 minute cartoon a "short version"?", I thought...... (read more comments)

Wow, I forgot about that book! Thanks for reminding me! I've always wanted that book (circa 2003, nevertheless) but around the time of the redesign I had forgotten about it! Hopefully there will be a "Bone the Fish" book that talks about how the Scottish Site was destroyed, how the fans boycotted the Scottish Rag and Scottish Sellout, and how BTF came into being! The new book could also include...... (read more comments)

I have to say, I'm impressed with the 2.0 version. Even with the passing of it's main character, J.R., this show has held it's own. Patrick Duffy and Linda Gray are keeping it familiar and grounded enough for the original fans but the younger "offspring" are doing a fine job, too along with the storylines. ... I have to rate Conan the Barbarian as one of my all-time favorite movies (piss on that Nostalgia Critic). Destroyer however, just makes me laugh at how bad it is. Is Zula a man? I can't tell... This man has four controversies right now to deal with. It would be one thing if it was one, maybe even two, but four? Something sure seems fishy about that. Flo's constant perkiness can be annoying, and I could certainly understand someone choosing that as a BTF reason for her. However, she does do her job, as an advertising character enhancing the brand awareness of what she's promoting. And in her own odd way, she's kinda hot, particularly in the ad where she's outdoors in a rainstorm. However, Flo herself (actually her actress Stephanie Courtney...... (read more comments)

I totally agree with Travoltron. Enough with the princesses already! Yes Disney, we get it, princesses sell well because they appeal to the 2 to 7 year old female demographic. I have to agree with the large number of voters who have said they officially unboned with their new CD, A Different Kind of Truth. I'm studying to be a teacher, and I liked this site for a long time. Yes, the thoughts of teenagers regarding their teachers can at times be petty, but I also saw plenty of intelligent comments on the site as well. I have a theory about The Matrix. My theory is that movie 2 and movie 3 are simply very, very subtle. No. Hear me out. Intended or not, I see the possibility of a very deep extension of the themes in the original. Here's my theory. In the Matrix, there are programs. When a program has fulfilled its function, it ceases to exist until it is needed again. However, if you watch the movies...... (read more comments)

13 episodes is good for me. Pretty sure if they had a second season every kid would be trying to meta-game the show and they'd either keep it in which would just make it seem dumb, or they would try to fakely edit it out and make the kids seem super naive. So never boned at the point it made it to, but I'm pretty sure had a second season occured, some pretty horrible stuff would've gone down.... (read more comments)

They've axed all the judges (Seacrest won't return either), and will replace them, as part of the 'overhaul' Fox plans on giving this show after the current season. The continuity/quality control for the whole franchise went out the window in the late 90's. The first "Extended Universe" novels and comics that were released in the early and mid 1990's were great (Thrawn trilogy, Shadows of the Empire) and didn't conflict with any SW product that had been released up to that point.... Ah, how the might have fallen. Three years ago, I speculated about whether Miley would self-destruct like Britney Spears, or just fade into obscurity. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Earthbound. It's just irritating that it's the only game of it's series that's been released in North America. And it's a sequel, a damn good sequel no less. But, still. It would have been nice if we had it's predecessor, Mother 1, for the NES and later on, Mother 3, for the GBA to go along with it. Yet Nintendo just stubbornly never released those othe...... (read more comments)
