Bone The Fish - Most Recent Comments!

Who said you can't coin your own term? What is "Boning the Fish"? It's a moment. A defining moment when you know that your favorite TV Show, Celebrity, Movie Series or Music Group has reached its peak. That instant you know from now on...it's all downhill. Some call it a climax of sorts. We call it "Boning the fish". From that moment on things will simply never be the same.

Great company, they lasted very well in the console market, but they never had a chance since Nintendo and Sony did everything Sega did better. Plus Sega royally boned when they decided not to tell anybody about the launch of the Saturn. MTV: Music Television - Random Topics
This channel used to show music videos, but soon they became hands down the worst channel on tv by showing nothing but incredibly stupid reality tv shows featuring untalented hacks, internet nobodies, washed up hacks, and wannabes. They also showcase incredibly lame and talentless (c)rap artists who never even lived in the "ghetto" and would scream like a little bitch if someone pulled out a butterknife in their faces. The rock bands are faggots who call themselves punk when real punks would kick the fuck out of them and lame ass "metal" bands who are pussies wearing makeup and tight pants and lack any sufficent amount of talent other than screaming in a microphone and playing the same 1 chord over and over for 4 minutes. The other "artists" are horrible pop singers who are either underage, have severe gender ambiguity, and lack any talent other than singing with machines and autotune to help them "sing". The worst part is that all of the garbage is targeted towards children, who grow up to be skanks and douchebags. The media watchdogs don't bother trying to advocate against this horrible station because they are too busy rallying against videogames. Even though videogames have been proven to have no violent impact on children. They fail to notice MTV is broadcasting soft-core pornography, violent images, and is teaching children that if they are not like the people on this channel, they are freaks and misfits. MTV is the devil in true living form. One can hope this channel is destroyed, for if not, it will continue to destroy humanity. Dallas - TV Shows
I was too young to really follow this show but managed to sneak a few episodes. I always thought the JR Ewing character was the epitome of GREED and CRUELTY. I remember an episode when Sue Ellen had finally got a hold of her alcoholism and was sober for a significant period of time. She and JR got into an argument and JR did the most cruel thing--he threw a drink in her face. Shocked and intrigued at the same time, my mouth was wide open as credits rolled with liquor rolling down her face and over her lips. Being young, I wanted to see if she would open her mouth or lick a tiny drop of alcohol. Fast forward to the next week: SUE ELLEN IS LUSH AGAGIN--oh, the cruel power of JR Ewing! -- Submitted By: (Understated) on December 31, 2010, 2:03 pm

Robert, didn't you know Al Qaeda was in on it and Bush paid them off to claim responsibility just to throw everyone off the trail of the REAL culprit? LOL Oh, and to the troll, Rather actually DID make up stuff about Bush, producing some "incriminating" documents that actually turned out to have been made in the early 70s. Unlike the 911 conspiracy this is the TRUTH. That's why he's no longer working for any major news network. But you can still catch him on HDNet, probably still blaming Bush for everything. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on December 31, 2010, 12:32 pm

Arthur - TV Shows
One more I like to add, I hate it when celebate their brithdays in one episode just to be ignore it the next. Example: DW said to be 4 years old in previous episodes, in one episode celebates her 5th brithday, then the next episode and all future episodes turn her back 4 again. At least do like the Simpson did and celebate her 4th brithday again if you going to keep it the same. Or like King of the Hill and keep her age 5. I understand cartoons don't age but acting like they age one year in one episode just not to exist again really the other boning point. -- Submitted By: (SSM) on December 31, 2010, 8:43 am

Arthur - TV Shows
It boned when that infamous episode "Arthur's Big Hit" aired. D.W. is real pain in the ass and keep on bothering Arthur and messing him up even after he said not to touch his plane and to leave him alone. She still touch it anyways and thrown it out the window, breaking the plane. Although Arthur was wrong for hitting D.W. out of anger (she deserved it though), and punishing him (by 1 week without him) rightfully, nothing happens to DW except, "we deal what she did" , translation nothing happens to her. After that, everyone acts like Arthur is a monster, he tries to explain his side of the story but they don't want to listen, keep saying "she just a littie girl" crap. Even Buster don't want to hear Arthur even though he witness DW bothering Arthur. When Binky hits Arthur for no reason, his mom instead of making him feel better, she mocks him saying, "Now you know how she feels blah blah blah". It's not the same thing, Binky hits Arthur randomly (due to peer pressure from his friends), while Arthur was provoked, two completely different situation. Arthur parents never even teach DW about respecting other people boudaries (that why Arthur hitting DW happens), and every one of Arthur act like DW is innocent even though they know DW is a real pest. After that, the show went downhill for me. -- Submitted By: (SSM) on December 31, 2010, 8:28 am

Superman - Movie Series
I remember watching the Superman movies when I was a littie kid. That said, Superman IV is a mistake that shouldn't be made at all. The first two rocked, Superman III I liked also, it wasn't as good as the first two but still a petty good movie. The forth one, that's when everything went wrong, random plots, a boring non-rememberable villian, pure crap. At least have Bizzaro fighting Superman instead of some copycat Superman reject. Superman IV shows the writers ran out of ideas and milk it for too long and should of ended it with II or III. Thats why there was never a Superman movie again for a long time until Superman Returns. -- Submitted By: (SSM) on December 31, 2010, 7:39 am

Despite many criticisms I have to say that I own all or most of his albums and I have seen him 4 times in concert and went home smiling. I also own the signature series guitar which plays and sounds like a dream. I am the first one to post here and before anyone says snything Yngwie may have his faults but I still prefer him to the kind of dreck that comes out these days. It may all sound the same and be excessive but it still satisfies somehting many other bands never figure out. I can't complain about this guy. In these days of Americal Idol and Lady Goo Goo ( I mean Ga Ga) and other Godawful atrocities I feel like thanking God for Yngwie. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on December 31, 2010, 5:29 am

Three's Company - TV Shows
I remember this show from when I lived with my parents. When I read the TV Guide listing aloud after someone asked what was on I could distinctly remember certain shows that elicited moans and groans from all present - "is anything else on?" Sometimes to the extent that you felt like replying,"don't blame me" it's not my fault. When nothing was on but "Three's Company" it was either time to take a bath or go to bed or both. Even in reruns it still amounts to that only without my parents echoing the same sentiments. For the rare occasions when there literally is nothing else on I beganto notice exactly what is wrong with this show. Aside from the fact nobody has any talent unless you count Suzanne Somers dumb blond act (?) I've figured it out. TC scripts consists almost entirely of recycled comedy cliches; the same basic ideas have been done since the days of "I Love Lucy" (which is even better than this crap). 1)The Miscommunication - One person misunderstands something he has heard from another room (or party line in the good ole days)and spends the next 30 minutes acting accordingly; thinking someone is pregnant, dying, engaged, gay or a hardened criminal etc. The idea here is that at the end eveyone will learn not to jump to conclusions and not to eaves drop. 2) Do Me A Favor? - One person does the other a favor by pretending to be something they're not - i.e. lover, date, teacher, spouse, etc. It ends with the pretense being exposed and everybody is forgiven since eveybody meant well and we learn that honesty is the best policy etc. 3)Believe it or not since I never really enjoyed this show that actually about covers it. All of these ideas have been seen and done a thousand times in other better sitcoms. Even "The Flintstones" has more credibility. TC recycled them shamelessly - the whole show is based around Jack pretending to be gay - we know Jack is pretending because he flirts with Janet and Chrissy. Essentially there is nothing funny, original or even likeable about this show. It's most redeeming quality is Suzanne Somer's T&A. That's not a complaint but I have her in Playboy so I don't really need this. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on December 31, 2010, 5:21 am

Three's Company - TV Shows
This was one of those shows that you watched which fell under the category of "Nothing Else On" As kids we had our tv in the living room and generally we had little or no difficulty deciding what to watch but this was always greeted with the same "see of there's something else on" attitude. I can see why because in reruns it amounts to the same thing. None of the actors really has much talent if you ask me, although Suzanne Somers has a great body and has the dumb blonde act down cold. The real problem here is the lousy script. Every episode has one of those stories that you've heard somewhere before about somebody misunderstood what another said, or one character tells a little white lie to fool somebody and the others get dragged into it. Example: the recent Christmas epsiode -Jack and girls are invited to a party with the Ropers but are too afraid to hurt their feelings by telling the Ropers that they were invited to another party and that the Ropers are know for boring parties. Jack and friends try to figure a way to get out of going except for the most obvious and then pretend to have a good time to fool the Ropers; ironically the Ropers are afraid to tell Jack and the girls that they also have been invited to another party and that the Ropers find Jack and the girls to be boring. When, everybody gets to leave the Ropers party they discover that they all have been invited to the same party and that the Stevens family just forgot to deliver their invitations. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on December 31, 2010, 4:46 am

Home Improvement - TV Shows
I could live without the "serious" episodes and then the ones where Jill suddenly decides that she is less than perfect and goes to Wilson for advice. The "cartoonish" side to this was part of it's charm. It was a form of escapism where the husband is a goofball but really only wants what's best for his family. Good fun despite flaws. I don't think so, Tim. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on December 31, 2010, 2:47 am

Married with Children - TV Shows
I don't think this show ever completely BTF because it remained consistently funny throughout it's run. I did notice that in the second season it became a little less unrealistic with the vacation to Dumpwater, Fla (the serial killer episode) and the introduction of the Wankers. The first season had dealt with more realistic situations such as fad diets, gambling, a night out with guys, watching too much sports, the Mustang episode where the guys invest in a rebuilding a classic 65 Mustang much to the girl's disgust. The show remained consistently funny inmho but did become sort of "cartoonish" as far as some of the epiosdes went. I live without the visits to Wanker County and sometimes there was a bit too much of NoMAAM, but nothing to complain too much about. This was one of my all time favorite comedies and still is. As far as the most common comments about the show: Either Ted McGinley of David Garrison was only Al's sidekick. His Barney Rubble. Kelly always was dumb from day one so I don't see how we can say that she got dumber later on. Also Al was none too bright either so same there. I really don't see what Amanda Bearse in reall life has to do with anything. She was fine as Marcy. Never Boned in my book. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on December 31, 2010, 2:41 am

Law and Order - TV Shows
I had always enjoyed L&O and it wasn't the "format" or the "ripped from the headlines" style that killed the show. Two things mainly: one was the departure of many of the show's core of characters and two was the weak writing especially imho during season 19 & 20. The stories seemed to go from these high profile cases to these rather sloppily written stories about street gangs and vigilante justice and such and that the new characters about that time seemed like rookies compared to Briscoe and Green, Mc Coy and Kincaid or Southerlyn who all seemed like seasoned pros in their roles as attorneys or detectives. Several of the storylines have the attorneys unable to find a legal precedent everytime somebody throws a curve into their case which would never happen to McCoy, Kincaid Southerlyn, Stone, Robinette and all the originals. The actors who look like they just stepped out of a graduation photo seem amateurish the last several seasons as does the writing. Also when Michael Imperioli joins the cast it seemed to coincide with the peak period of the Sopranos' popularity. Similarly J.K. Simmons appears as Dr Skoda seems to coincide with the rise in popularity of "Oz", another HBO series in which Simmons plays the leader of the Aryan brotherhood in prison. His character as well as his acting seems far more credible than Imperioli as an attorney. Dean Winters from "Oz" appears in several forgettable episodes for the same reason and then of course Christopher Meloni as the annoying detective Stabler on SVU. Meloni's charcter on "Oz" has an overnight metamorphisis from Nazi to gay lover. Seeing him as a sanctimonious detective on the dull spinoff SVU is a stretch. The writing and the lineup changes are what hurt this show. The format was great and was a trademark of the show and the controversial issues held your interest because they were handled intelligently and researched thoroughly. They couldn't very well make a drama about traffic court. -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on December 31, 2010, 2:27 am

Toddlers & Tiaras - TV Shows
Can the "parents" of these kids be brought up on child abuse charges? Trotting them out like little show ponies to live vicariously through them is beyond sick. -- Submitted By: (BrewMaster) on December 30, 2010, 2:35 pm

9/11 Truth Movement - Random Topics
Oh gawd...hey DolFan--speaking of 'conspiracy theories'--yours involving Dan Rather is pretty lulzworthy itself, lol. -- Submitted By: (elainewood) on December 30, 2010, 11:10 am

SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron - TV Shows
SWAT stands for Special Weapons And Tactics. Special Weapons, they have. Tactics, that too. But only two members? That's hardly a team. I too enjoyed this when I was younger, and as far as I remember, it hasn't boned yet. I hope it stays that way. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on December 30, 2010, 10:04 am

Kangaroo Jack - Movie Series
They hit a kangaroo, dress it up, and it runs away. These people keep insulting our intelligence with garbage like this. If this garbage script became a movie, there must be a movie script in the garbage. There must have been a mix-up, it's the only way. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on December 30, 2010, 9:58 am

ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) - Random Topics
Burning Israeli flags, supporting terrorists, Nazi salutes. Some peace organization. Any group that gives itself a nice-sounding name like "The Happy Love and Peace Club" is usually quite the opposite of what they claim to be. Stopping war and ending racism? That's a good one, ANSWER. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on December 30, 2010, 9:43 am

9/11 Truth Movement - Random Topics
I sometimes think the "birthers" movement is a satire against the 9/11 truth movement. If it isn't, at least they accuse Obama of something far less horrible than what Bush is being accused of. Also, if Bush orchestrated 9/11, why would Al-Qaida accept responsibility for the attacks? -- Submitted By: (Robert) on December 30, 2010, 9:33 am

STORM (Standing together to Organize a Revolution - Random Topics
"Involving young people of color in direct action protests against the Gulf War"? That smacks of racial exploitation. And, no, I'm not playing the race card; STORM aims for them. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on December 30, 2010, 9:25 am

I know a lot of people say that this is a Ren and Stimpy rip-off, but I actually heard somewhere that John K (Ren and Stimpy's creator) liked this show (being one of the few post-70s cartoons that he hasn't panned). -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on December 30, 2010, 1:13 am

Little House on the Prairie - TV Shows
The LHotP episodes I most remember are when Albert (in his angst--AGAIN!) feigns blindness so his "real Pa" wouldn't take from Pa Ingalls to use him as an extra hand on a farm; Albert's girlfriend is raped, impregnated and dies :-( -- Submitted By: (Understated) on December 30, 2010, 12:29 am

How I Met Your Mother - TV Shows
Although the concept of the "circle of close friends" is certainly not new, I find the writing for this show to be very clever. I must admit that Neil Patrick Harris as Barney the womanizer is a bit of a stretch. (no pun intended...OK, it is my intention) -- Submitted By: (Understated) on December 30, 2010, 12:06 am
