Animorphs - TV Shows
This was a series that got screwed based on the network it was given to. If it had aired on a mainstream network instead of on Nick it would have been much better. Sadly it was given a shoe-string budget and was aired on a "kid-friendly" network which meant it had to dumbed down to nth degree. Ah well we still have the books... -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on June 1, 2009, 12:05 am

Sims, The - Random Topics
File this under "Games that sound boring but somehow aren't" great concept great execution, and pretty good sequels. It's rare you can get such a great game... -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 27, 2009, 2:28 am

TV Land - Random Topics
I voted for both Rosanne and reality shows. The channel was meant to show 50's-70's classics. Rosanne just killed the nostalgia of the channel and this is coming from someone who grew up in the 90s -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 27, 2009, 2:26 am

Adam Sandler - Celebrities
Sandler is still a funny guy, a few of his films have been bombs but so far he still seems to have it goin for him, we'll see how he reacts to "Bedtime Stories" -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 27, 2009, 2:24 am

Burger King - Random Topics
Hate "The King" but the restaurant still makes good food so I'm not gonna complain. -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 27, 2009, 2:20 am

Wendy's - Random Topics
I still love Wendy's but I will miss Dave forever he was a very good man. RIP Man you're makin baked potato for Jesus now... -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 27, 2009, 2:19 am

Wal-Mart - Random Topics
Walmart should be revered by the left, they sell food and even prescription drugs at low prices, but since they don't allow their workers to run the company via unionization, and they employ "sweat shop" labor (fun fact if the sweat shops closed the kids employed there would go back to the old ways of making money, which are far more dangerous) they're the devil. It's a shame since Walmart really is a great store -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 27, 2009, 2:17 am

Drawn Together - TV Shows
I'm torn here, I laughed at the show but now that I look back at the older episodes I find they're not that entertaining. But if it didn't bone from the start it certainly did once the writers became overly dependent on gross out jokes. If I wanted to see poo thrown at people I'd go to a primate house. -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 27, 2009, 2:11 am

Lord of the Rings, The - Movie Series
I respect LOtR for it's scope and it's brilliant cinematography, but the movies themselves just don't do it for me. Maybe it's too complex for me, or maybe I'm just not into fantasy movies like another poster (though I love Narnia so that points to the former rather than the latter reason) Either way great movie production wise, bad plot wise. -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 27, 2009, 2:07 am

Dixie Chicks - Music Groups
Addendum, painting them as martyrs for free speech is asinine, they weren't dragged through the streets and hanged, they had to endure the darker side of free speech for awhile, having people say unkind things about them, if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen. -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 27, 2009, 2:01 am

That's the lovely thing about free speech, their free to say whatever the want about our president and I'm free to say whatever I want about them, namely that what the fat one said was very short sighted. One of the keys to surveying in any industry is knowing your audience and the country music fan base is overwhelmingly repubilcan. The girls dug their grave even deeper when they dissed Reba McEntire and Toby Keith. In fact I'd say this was a greater offense than the president, there were valid reasons not to like the war in Iraq, but attacking McEntire and Keith was disrespectful to both the fans and to the artists themselves. Getting involved in feuds with your fellow performers is pretty much classic BTF territory. -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 27, 2009, 2:00 am

Miley Cyrus - Celebrities
Mark my words, this poor child is headed for a crash that will make Brittney Spears look sane. She's got paparazzi tailing her at every second and has already taken stomach churning photos, it's only a matter of time before she turns up pregnant or gets caught with cocaine. I just hope for her sake that I'm wrong... -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 27, 2009, 1:53 am

Erik Per Sullivan - Celebrities
I voted NB'd since all I know is his work on Malcolm in the Middle, while the show it self didn't do to well in the waning seasons it was not for lack of acting on his part. -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 27, 2009, 1:46 am

Ice Cream - Random Topics
I'm not sure that food products can jump but as long as they have Cotton Candy then icecream is going strong. -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 15, 2009, 8:56 pm

History (History Channel) - Random Topics
I don't think it BTF but I am getting a little tired of the series on Ax-men and Ice Road truckers, at least Nostradamus has something to do with history, I don't doubt that lumberjacks are a vital part of our economy but they are not making history. -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 15, 2009, 8:52 pm

Spice Girls - Music Groups
The Spice Girls were mainly for the grammar school crowd. Once my generation grew up we forgot about them. (Of course the girls getting pregnant didn't help matters...) -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 15, 2009, 8:50 pm

Looney Tunes & Merrie Melodies - Movie Series
The cartoons are great, but the series jumped once the higher ups decided to go PC and open one of their DVDs with Whoopi Goldberg warning about how "racial caricatures" are wrong . Some things aren't about race, and even if these cartoons were racist (very unlikely) in today's multicultural society people are far less likely to see race in something as simple as a cartoon. (Save for the Jesse Jackson crowd.) -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 15, 2009, 8:47 pm

Jurassic Park - Movie Series
First, please spare us the 4th movie, have some respect for Circhton's memory. The 2nd movie was certainly the dropping off point for the movie, they took a fair (not as good as the original of course) book and turned into environmentalist propaganda. -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 15, 2009, 8:42 pm

American Dad! - TV Shows
Perhaps my politics prevents me from being objective but I just don't think an(nother) entire series dedicated to bashing middle America and family values is necessary. I'll never understand of McFarlen became so popular... well I have a few theories but they don't fit in with the context of this site. -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 15, 2009, 8:37 pm

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Music Groups
Still going strong, Stadium Arcadium was a great album, we'll see how they progress... -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 15, 2009, 8:16 pm
