Dating Game, The - TV Shows
The previous reviewer is correct, The Dating Game was definitely a 60's phenomenon. I was about 8 or 9 when this show aired and still remember the lighthearted banter punctuated by pseudo Herb Alpert music. But...if this show WERE resurrected and revamped it just might work, given a new look and spin, and catering to the younger generation. So ladies and gentiles here's my take on a possible idea (out of many) or as my boy Rod Serling would say "submitted for your approval", a dating show for the new millennium: Hip-Hop Hook-ups! -- Submitted By: (Chuck) on January 26, 2012, 7:42 pm

Kung Fu - TV Shows
Loved this show as a kid, and still do. At the time I was angry that Bruce Lee was passed over for a role that originated with him, not to mention his martial arts skills were light-years ahead of Carradine's. At the time. As an adult, while stationed at Clark AB in the Philippines I came to appreciate the acting abilities of the late David Carradine (thank God for reruns). Truthfully Carradine was as far above Bruce Lee as an actor as Lee was above Carradine as a martial artist. While he would outshine Carradine in the fight scenes, which were rather infrequent, Carradine would out-act him everywhere else. Bottom Line: I'm grateful that David Carradine got the part, we got a chance to see a terrific actor in yet another terrific role. RIP David!!! -- Submitted By: (Chuck) on September 25, 2010, 11:49 am

JumptheShark.com - Websites
This is a prime example of what happens when a great idea gets into the hands of people who think they know better how to improve on said greatness. Too bad! I really liked the old site with it's laid-back style, and left many a comment there over the years. It's a crying shame that the Borg of entertainment (TV Guide) bought the rights to the site, reconstructing (and resurrecting) the new one in it's own image. The result: a VASTLY inferior product in spite of the best of intentions. May the old site rest in peace! -- Submitted By: (Chuck) on September 25, 2010, 12:08 am
