Simpsons, The - TV Shows
There is now news that The Simpsons might not continue after this season. The reason: The voice actors don't think they're getting enough money (for the record, the Simpsons voice actors make $4 million a year). -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on October 4, 2011, 10:32 pm

Looney Tunes Show, The - TV Shows
In their slight defense, the creators stated that, like Loonatics Unleashed, they're not trying to be like the original Looney Tunes, and trying to be something different. I don't really understand why they called it "The Looney Tunes Show," though. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on October 4, 2011, 7:12 pm

Boston Red Sox - Random Topics
I feel that the Red Sox (along with the Atlanta Braves) made a new boning a few days ago, by completely choking their chance at a playoff spot. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on September 30, 2011, 10:04 pm

Star Wars - Movie Series
Mainly the problem that I have with the "no" addition (and keep in mind that I was born long after the original trilogy was finished) is that I feel that the scene was more emotional/powerful without any dialogue. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on September 2, 2011, 5:56 pm

Richard Nixon - Celebrities
I always feel that, of all the presidents of the last 100 years, Richard Nixon is the biggest presidential punching bag (and that's saying a lot). Anyway, there's no doubt that his biggest bone was the Watergate scandal. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on September 1, 2011, 8:31 pm

Cartoon Network - Random Topics
I will give them credit for bringing back Looney Tunes, although there's a good chance that they'll get rid of it soon (considering that they once brought it back in 2009, only to get rid of it a month later). -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on September 1, 2011, 6:50 pm

Cartoon Network - Random Topics
Sorry for the upcoming long post. I feel that Cartoon Network's first major screw-up was in 2001 when they revived Dexter's Laboratory without the original creator (or part of the original staff). To me, though, this would be their only big screw-up until around 2005-ish, when they got rid of every classic cartoon that wasn't Tom and Jerry (such as Looney Tunes and Droopy). In 2006, they started airing some live action movies and stopped airing some of their older original cartoons. In early 2007, the CEO of Cartoon Network resigned in response to the Boston Bomb Scare. Shortly after, they got rid of the Fridays block, gave Toonami a major redesign, made Out of Jimmy's Head, and made Fried Dynamite. A year later, they got rid of Toonami altogether, and later made even more live action shows and the CN Real block (amazingly, some of this live action is still on). CN had other bonings, but these were it's biggest bonings to me. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on September 1, 2011, 5:35 am

Rickrolling - Random Topics
Rickrolling can be annoying, but, for some reason, I genuinely like the song. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on August 26, 2011, 11:48 pm

Weakest Link, The - TV Shows
My guess is because the British host on the US version is (or at least was) also the host of the UK version. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on August 26, 2011, 2:56 pm

Simpsons, The - TV Shows
I found a video of a Simpsons clip that (apparently) only aired once, around 1992 when the Cosby Show ended. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZwgu8_b0Vw It's a bit ironic watching it now. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on August 24, 2011, 3:41 pm

Betty White - Celebrities
Jp, I think that her recent surge in popularity is because she's the last living Golden Girl (not that I'm bothered by that or anything). -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on August 22, 2011, 4:52 pm

Youtube - Websites
I have a bit of advice to anyone who's annoyed with the ads on Youtube (and other websites): There is an add-on for Firefox and Chrome called Adblock Plus. If it works, it will block every ad on the webpage you're on (including video ads). I've had it for about 9 months, and I've almost forgotten that Youtube has ads. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on August 9, 2011, 9:24 am

Hanna-Barbera - Random Topics
I think that Hanna-Barbera boned in the 1970s, when they did almost nothing memorable but Scooby Doo (and even that got tiring after a while). However, I will say that they unboned in the 1990s when they made things like Two Stupid Dogs and What a Cartoon. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on August 9, 2011, 8:31 am

George Carlin - Celebrities
George Carlin was a great stand up comedian. Some people can argue that he got too political in his later career, and liked to bash religion, but let's not forget that he made fun of environmentalists at least once. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on August 5, 2011, 11:33 pm

BoneTheFish.com - Websites
I will admit that there is some political debate on here (usually leaning more right then left), but I can say that I've seen other sites that are much more right-winged (most notably Sodahead). -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on August 1, 2011, 9:59 pm

Fox News - Random Topics
I saw one clip where they basically stated terrorism to be a hooby. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fi27530dDCc It is said at around the 1:05 mark. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on August 1, 2011, 6:32 pm
