Lawrence Welk Show, The - TV Shows
There is a clip on You Tube where someone sings the alleged drug song, "One Toke Over the Line," on the show. Welk referred to is as a spiritual. And on a related note, there was another clip where Welk dresses up as a hippie for a joke. And for those wondering about the lack of black people on the show, there is another clip featuring a performance by country legend Charlie Pride. Maybe Welk wasn't as square as we think. Occasionally, he would feature songs made famous by Elvis and the Beatles. And he had a memorable appearance on Here's Lucy. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on November 11, 2013, 5:45 pm

Video Games - Random Topics
I don't go for the ultra violent "games" that are out right now. Yet so many do. They wait in long lines to buy one of these "games." Note that the word games is in quotation marks. I really can't see them as being actual games, just ultra violent movies you control yourself. Is it me or do they seem to only advertise "games" that are rated M? -- Submitted By: (JayD) on October 30, 2013, 6:54 pm

Hip hop music - Random Topics
These days if you become a big recording star, you are pretty much obligated to collaborate with hip hoppers and rappers. For instance, Lordes has a big #1 hit with "Royals" and now I found out that awful rapper Rick Ross has remixed the song with him rapping on it. Why would you take a perfectly good song and ruin it like that? Looks like Rick Ross is taking a song that is already number one and putting his name on it as a featured artist giving him an instant #1 song. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on October 30, 2013, 6:41 pm

Major League Baseball - Random Topics
I can't believe that Braves fans are still doing that stupid tomahawk chop thing along with that annoying chant that goes with it. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on October 5, 2013, 11:36 am

BoneTheFish.com - Websites
Are fans of this site called Boneheads or Fishheads? I never add topics because I'm too lazy to add a Wikipedia link. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on October 1, 2013, 7:11 pm

Obesity - Random Topics
I noticed that three people said that obesity still rocks. Really? I say it sucked from the start. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on August 29, 2013, 12:28 pm

Batman - Movie Series
When casting for the Batman movies, do they just pick a name out of a hat? -- Submitted By: (JayD) on August 29, 2013, 12:11 pm

Miley Cyrus - Celebrities
@cartooner, it gets worse. She is now collaborating with her lookakike Justin Beaver and Lil Twist on a song about, wait for it, twerking. And why does she always have to stick her damn tongue out all the time? -- Submitted By: (JayD) on August 29, 2013, 12:04 pm

Kidz Bop - Music Groups
"Harlem Shake?" really? How is it even possible to sing it? There is a lot of disposable pop songs these days, and there is nothing more disposable than Kidz Bop singing these disposable pop songs. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on August 10, 2013, 11:40 am

Macaulay Culkin - Celebrities
He kind of reminds me of a ventriloquist's dummy. Apart from the original Home Alone, his movies are more or less forgettable. I forgot he was in that lame Richie Rich movie. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on August 10, 2013, 11:32 am

Will Smith - Celebrities
I can't get over how Will Smith is exploiting his kids. Does he really think they have actual talent? Willow as Annie? Gimme a break. And I noticed an ad for scientology within the comments. I guess he must be a scientologist. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on August 10, 2013, 11:25 am

Alex "A-Rod" Rodriguez - Celebrities
I lost all respect for him when he left the Mariners for more money. If he wasn't so greedy, he may have brought the Mariners to a world series win. Right now he's going to appeal his year and a half suspension for steroid use. In the meantime, he is allowed to play! I don't expect the appeal to be quick because I think he's stalling so he can collect his undeserved millions. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on August 6, 2013, 7:09 pm

Nostalgia - Random Topics
I'm nostalgic for the 70s and 80s because I was going to school at the time. For me, nostalgia ends at the turn of the 90s. Nothing from that decade seems old fashioned enough to be considered nostalgic. For instance, a show like Seinfeld, a show from the 90s, could easily have been set in the present day. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on August 2, 2013, 7:24 pm

Leah Remini - Celebrities
She just left the Church of Scientology and I applaud her for breaking away from this cult. Hopefully others will follow. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on July 16, 2013, 7:26 pm

Beanie Babies - Random Topics
I used to have a few of these but I eventually sold them at the flea market for a buck a piece. I kept one, Sneaky the Leopard because it's my favourite. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on July 16, 2013, 7:18 pm

Kid Rock - Music Groups
I really hate that All Summer Long song, no relation to the Beachboys song of the same title. It is one of those songs you can only bear to hear once, like the typical novelty song(eg. Because I Got High). I had to change the station when it came on a second time. Not to mention, it ruined the songs "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Werewolves of London" for me. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on July 16, 2013, 7:08 pm

Emergency! - TV Shows
There seems to be a lot of episodes where some kid gets stuck somewhere because of his or her stupidity, and the emergency crew has to free him or her. There was one time a kid got stuck inside a tree and all you can see is his feet sticking up. I watch this show occasionally to see what stupid things people do that gets them into a position where they have to be rescued. There was one time, believe it or not, they had to rescue somebody who got stuck inside a hide-a-bed. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on July 16, 2013, 6:57 pm

Father Knows Best - TV Shows
I don't recall any actual episodes but I'm pretty sure this show inspired the old fashioned TV world as seen in the movie Pleasantville. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on July 16, 2013, 6:48 pm

Martha Speaks - TV Shows
I think it's a pretty dumb way for Martha to be able to talk, simply by eating alphabet soup. So if Martha ate chicken soup, would she be clucking instead? -- Submitted By: (JayD) on June 28, 2013, 6:48 pm

Ritchie Valens - Music Groups
I wonder if he would have been as well known today had he not died alongside Buddy Holly. Nevertheless, despite his brevity, he was quite influential on Chicano music, including Los Lobos who did the soundtrack to La Bamba. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on June 28, 2013, 6:31 pm
