Alpha-Bits - Random Topics
Alpha-Bits was one of my favourite cereals as a kid. I remember when the Jackson 5 did commercials for the cereal and did the song "I love you alphabets" while in an airship. I also liked Honeycomb cereal. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 30, 2012, 9:45 pm

Beach Boys, The - Music Groups
I'm a big Beachboys fan and very happy that all of the surviving members have gotten back together. I really enjoy their Smile album which finally saw the light of day in its entirety. They had some good albums after 1967, including Friends, Sunflower, and Surf's Up. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 26, 2012, 6:55 pm

Creed - Music Groups
Creed is essentially a bad Pearl Jam clone. I absolutely hate their songs "With Arms Wide Open," and "Higher" which rips off Bad Company's "Feel Like Making Love." -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 26, 2012, 6:36 pm

2 Live Crew - Music Groups
I heard that 2 Live Crew are reuniting for a tour this year. Is there anyone out there that would pay good money to see these untalented and obnoxious clowns? -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 23, 2012, 11:45 am

Blind Melon - Music Groups
Believe me. I know more Question Mark and the Mysterian songs than I do Blind Melon songs. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 21, 2012, 1:56 am

Kathie Lee Gifford - Celebrities
I haven't heard of Kathie Lee since Mr. Garrison tried to kill her. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 21, 2012, 1:47 am

Kelly Clarkson - Celebrities
I don't understand why there are so many haters on this site. I think she is very talented, and a lot better than many of today's other pop tarts. I read her biography on Wikipedia. She was singing long before her first Idol audition and in fact turned down two record labels back in the late 90s because she didn't want to be pegged as a tween pop bubblegum singer which she isn't. Ten years after winning Idol, she is still going strong while many of her fellow contestants have gone back to obscurity never to be heard from again. And by the way, she has sung the National Anthem on several occasions already so I doubt she will botch it at the Super Bowl. Still, "My Life Would Suck Without You" is probably one of the worst song titles ever. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 21, 2012, 1:44 am

Blind Melon - Music Groups
So they are still looking for a new lead singer. Let's face it. If you were looking for a job as a lead singer, would you want to join these has beens? -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 13, 2012, 11:13 pm

Elton John - Music Groups
"Burn Down the Mission" is my favourite E.J. song and one of his best ever. For some reason, this song rarely appears on compilations and did not even turn up on his box set To Be Continued. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 13, 2012, 11:04 pm

Dora the Explorer - TV Shows
I don't think I can get through a complete episode. Why do all the animals sound like annoying little kids? -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 13, 2012, 10:52 pm

Van Halen - Music Groups
I heard their new song "Tattoo." It's a good song but the group seems to be stuck in the 80s! -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 13, 2012, 10:47 pm

Elton John - Music Groups
He had some good stuff in the 80s too like "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues," "Sad Songs," and "Empty Garden." He cut a lot of dreck too but overall he has never really boned. He still is a great performer. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 12, 2012, 2:36 pm

Laff-A-Lympics - TV Shows
What I liked about this show was that it had several characters that I grew up with and they pretty much remained in character. My personal faves were Jinks the Cat, Huck, Hokey Wolf and Super Snooper. I always thought there should have been a fourth team, perhaps the Flintstone Rockers, which would have been made up of citizens of Bedrock. It could have included a few Jetson characters as well. Maybe not. It would probably have looked awkward anyway to see Flintstone or Jetson characters using 70's style sports equipment and vehicles. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 11, 2012, 11:27 pm

BEATLES, The - Music Groups
50 years later, people are still listening to the Beatles. And they'll still be listening to them 50 years from now. Now that's staying power. I pretty much doubt that people will be listening to Blink 182, Lil Wayne or Ke$ha 5 years from now let alone 50. You need good music to have staying power. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 11, 2012, 10:59 pm

American Idol - TV Shows
It's a singing contest yet they often have talentless hacks like Ke$ha perform during the results show. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 6, 2012, 12:03 am

Alvin and the Chipmunks (Live action/CGI film) - Movie Series
And they made a third one? -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 5, 2012, 11:55 pm

Starland Vocal Band - Music Groups
Actually it was Boston that was robbed of the best new artist for 1976. I remember hearing "Afternoon Delight" when I was nine years old not realizing what the song was really about. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 5, 2012, 11:45 pm

Little House on the Prairie - TV Shows
It's supposed to be set in Minnesota, yet I don't think I have ever seen it snow in Walnut Grove and I never knew the Prairies had mountains. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 5, 2012, 11:19 pm

Bob Saget - Celebrities
There's a time and place for swearing and the radio isn't one of them. I think he just wants to show off his foul mouth. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 5, 2012, 11:11 pm

Clint Eastwood - Celebrities
Don't you have to be a has been, a contoversial figure, or a D lister to have a reality show? Clint is still an A lister and isn't any of those things. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 1, 2012, 11:34 pm
