Justin Bieber - Celebrities
For the fourth consecutive year, he's won the fan's choice award at the Canadian Music Awards. What a joke. He deserved to be booed. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on March 31, 2014, 7:10 pm

Vladimir Putin - Celebrities
Seems to me he's determined to bring back the Cold War. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on March 31, 2014, 7:06 pm

Justin Bieber - Celebrities
The good news is that his fan following is shrinking. His latest movie bombed and so has his more recent singles. The bad news is that even if he does retire, he'll still be carrying on with his antics, such as egging a neighbor's house. I bet in the gated community he lives in, his neighbors are circulating a petition to kick him out. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on January 14, 2014, 1:10 am

I should add Ray Price to the list of great country artists. R.I.P. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on December 17, 2013, 11:57 am

Dick Van Dyke Show, The - TV Shows
Bar none, the best sitcom of the early 1960s. Sure it's dated, but it is still very funny. I think it's amazing, as of this writing, that the majority of the cast is still alive. They must have done something right. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on December 11, 2013, 6:48 pm

Kayne West - Celebrities
Just like I knew he would, he's now complaining about a lack of grammy nominations, especially for album of the year. I think his rants are getting a little bit ridiculous. He's won 21 grammys overall, yet he brings out the race card and says that he's never won against a white person. He is still up for two nominations, but I think he'll lose both of them. Most recording artists would be happy with just a single nominee because they don't have giant egos. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on December 11, 2013, 6:41 pm

TIME Magazine - Random Topics
My prediction for 2013's Person of the Year is the new Pope. Whoever they choose should not be somebody that is always twerking, taking off her clothes, and sticking her tongue out. That's right, Miley is one of the finalists. If she gets the honour, then next year it should be Planet of the Year: Dumbed Down Earth. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on December 9, 2013, 7:36 pm

Miley Cyrus - Celebrities
She's a finalist for Time Magazine's Person of the Year. Oh please god, no! -- Submitted By: (JayD) on December 9, 2013, 7:20 pm

R. Kelly - Music Groups
He used to write inspirational songs. Now he's writing nothing but sexual explicit songs. The album cover for his latest album shows him playing a topless woman like a cello. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on November 21, 2013, 6:50 pm

Grammy Awards - Random Topics
The way I see it, the songs that spend 10 or more weeks at #1 are automatic grammy nominations even if the song is horrible. That means that an annoying song like 'Blurred Lines' with it's sexist lyrics and awful rap interlude by TI will no doubt be nominated for record of the year, maybe even song of the year. Not to mention, it's a rip off of "Got To Give It Up" by Marvin Gaye. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on November 21, 2013, 6:28 pm

Miley Cyrus - Celebrities
I heard her song "Wrecking Ball" and it really isn't anything special. It sounds like a thousand other songs. That's why she needs to shock people in order to stay in the spotlight. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on November 21, 2013, 5:57 pm

Lawrence Welk Show, The - TV Shows
There is a clip on You Tube where someone sings the alleged drug song, "One Toke Over the Line," on the show. Welk referred to is as a spiritual. And on a related note, there was another clip where Welk dresses up as a hippie for a joke. And for those wondering about the lack of black people on the show, there is another clip featuring a performance by country legend Charlie Pride. Maybe Welk wasn't as square as we think. Occasionally, he would feature songs made famous by Elvis and the Beatles. And he had a memorable appearance on Here's Lucy. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on November 11, 2013, 5:45 pm

Video Games - Random Topics
I don't go for the ultra violent "games" that are out right now. Yet so many do. They wait in long lines to buy one of these "games." Note that the word games is in quotation marks. I really can't see them as being actual games, just ultra violent movies you control yourself. Is it me or do they seem to only advertise "games" that are rated M? -- Submitted By: (JayD) on October 30, 2013, 6:54 pm

Hip hop music - Random Topics
These days if you become a big recording star, you are pretty much obligated to collaborate with hip hoppers and rappers. For instance, Lordes has a big #1 hit with "Royals" and now I found out that awful rapper Rick Ross has remixed the song with him rapping on it. Why would you take a perfectly good song and ruin it like that? Looks like Rick Ross is taking a song that is already number one and putting his name on it as a featured artist giving him an instant #1 song. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on October 30, 2013, 6:41 pm

@cartooner, it gets worse. She is now collaborating with her lookakike Justin Beaver and Lil Twist on a song about, wait for it, twerking. And why does she always have to stick her damn tongue out all the time? -- Submitted By: (JayD) on August 29, 2013, 12:04 pm

Kidz Bop - Music Groups
"Harlem Shake?" really? How is it even possible to sing it? There is a lot of disposable pop songs these days, and there is nothing more disposable than Kidz Bop singing these disposable pop songs. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on August 10, 2013, 11:40 am
