Tom and Jerry - TV Shows
It was Czechoslovakian. (Follow the wikipedia link on click on Gene Deitch era for more info.) -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 30, 2012, 5:46 pm

Highlander - Movie Series
Is Hollywood really stupid enough to cast Ryan Reynolds as McLeod in the remake? -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 29, 2012, 2:43 pm

Tom Cruise - Celebrities
Aw, poor Tommy's creepy marriage busted up. Good for her for leaving him. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 29, 2012, 2:30 pm

That Guy with the Glasses - Websites
Ugh. The recent firing of Spoony due to a stupid Twitter war was quite an ugly incident and makes me think a lot less of all involved. I wonder if these people's egos will be the undoing of the website instead of the MPAA? -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 24, 2012, 4:35 pm

Michael Jackson - Celebrities
Reading about Jerry Sandusky and his boy-grooming tactics reminded me a lot of Michael Jackson. That case has really started to sway me to the "Michael did it" camp. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 23, 2012, 2:38 am

Ed Asner - Celebrities
Sadly, Ed is not a nice guy like Lou Grant. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/conservative-actors-reveal-life-secrecy-94421 -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 20, 2012, 3:38 am

Dukes of Hazzard, The - TV Shows
I really wonder what the hell was going on behind the scenes with this show. Besides the Coy & Vance thing, there were also a few episodes with fake Rosco and fake Cooter. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 16, 2012, 6:08 pm

Golden Girls, The - TV Shows
I think they used that same plot in a M*A*S*H episode, where Hotlips accidentally kills a a General that way. And again in the live-action The Tick. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 16, 2012, 2:07 am

Incredible Hulk, The - TV Shows
Yeah, I saw "Death". Hulk/Banner die at the end. They say they that the death wasn't meant to be permanent, but then Bixby ironically died in real life. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 16, 2012, 2:03 am

Hogan's Heroes - TV Shows
This show is before my time, so I don't know much about it. Were the German characters actually Nazis? I'd heard that they were actually regular military and not Nazis. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 13, 2012, 4:04 pm

Kung Fu - TV Shows
I agree. It makes me angry to think that we could have had Kung Fu starring Bruce Lee (aka MR. KUNG-FU!!) but didn't due to Hollywood racism. Perhaps Bruce wouldn't have died had this show taken off and he didn't have to move to Hong Kong to get roles. So instead you get a white guy spewing fortune cookie platitudes while kicking in psychedelic slow-mo. If Hollywood has to reboot something, it should be this show. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 11, 2012, 2:50 pm

Alien Movies - Movie Series
I regret to say that Prometheus was disappointing. Didn't tie into Alien well at all and didn't really make any sense. It was visually stunning, but the story often reminded me of Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and Star Trek V. The writer of LOST wrote it, and it shows. Stuff just happens and it is never explained. It ends on a cliffhanger for a sequel that may or may not happen. Meh. I'd recommend waiting to rent it unless you really need to see it in 3D. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 10, 2012, 5:50 pm

Game Of Thrones - TV Shows
I've heard some people compare it to Lord of the Rings, but I couldn't disagree more. This is the complete opposite of Lord of the Rings. I feel that this show is more akin to "I, Claudius". -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 10, 2012, 5:36 pm

Finding Bigfoot - TV Shows
If these guys actually found Bigfoot it would be make international headlines months before the episode aired. So you KNOW they aren't going to find Bigfoot, so why watch this? -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 5, 2012, 6:58 pm

Metallica - Music Groups
I remember when Load came out, all my friends turned their backs on Metallica. Except for this one kid. He kept telling us that Load was just a "prank" and that the REAL album was going to come out in another month or two. Metallica was going to reveal the prank, laugh at anyone that liked it, and return to their former glory. Still waiting on that one. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 3, 2012, 8:58 pm

Bicentennial Man (film) - Movie Series
This came out when I was living in Japan. Its title over there was "Andrew NDR114". Robin Williams was on TV promoting the movie, but because of the language barrier he was reduced to just making silly faces and sound effects to make the audience laugh-- like he was entertaining a baby. It was really embarrassing and I wish I would have recorded it. At the advice of friends, I never saw the flick. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on May 31, 2012, 10:37 pm

Animal Planet - Random Topics
I used to love this channel in its early years, but when I check it out now there's usually no animals, just reality shows. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on May 30, 2012, 11:50 pm

College - Random Topics
These colleges should be helping guide these kids though. They don't know what skills they'll need; at least I sure as hell didn't. I thought the things I was studying (Japanese and video production) were marketable and it turns out they weren't. I've got friends that have it even worse-- useless majors like communications and religion. Another guy I know did nothing but read sci-fi books and make electronic music and now he's unemployed and on welfare. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on May 30, 2012, 4:07 pm

Earth Day - Random Topics
Most of the hippies I knew in college came from wealthy families. They spent 4 years doing nothing but smoking dope and protesting for ridiculous causes (Mumia Abu-Jamal was the cause du jour when I was in college; nowadays it is anti-Israel activism) and went home, shaved off their dreadlocks and had went to work for Daddy's company. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on May 23, 2012, 5:35 pm

Governator, The - TV Shows
The preview for this show looked atrocious; like a Saturday TV Funhouse skit except not funny. I was not sad to see this show canceled due to Arnold's personal life. Now it's going to become one of those shelved projects of legend like Turn-On episode 2 and The Day the Clown Cried. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on May 21, 2012, 11:24 pm
