Father of the Pride - TV Shows

Bristol Palin - Celebrities
I really wish someone would settle the whole "Bristol is Trig's real mother" theory. Bristol's loser ex (whatever his name is) might know the answer. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 26, 2010, 2:09 pm

Superman - Movie Series
I really wish they wouldn't have fired Richard Donner during Superman 2. His cut, incomplete as it is, is much better than Lester's. Yes, everything after 2 was complete garbage. III, Supergirl, and IV were garbage. I had high hopes for Returns with all the promises Singer made about making it like the original, but he botched that one, too. He only emulated the cheesiest aspects of the original film like Lex Luthor being a shyster obsessed with real estate. The story is that the next one will be by Zack Snyder and he's hiring a wimpy guy to play Supes and will add on muscles with CGI. How stupid. Seriously, how do these guys keep getting it wrong? -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 25, 2010, 5:57 pm

X-Men - Movie Series
You know, I might have to go with "Rogue is a an emo wimp". In fact, everybody was pretty mopey/emo in these films. (And sadly this wimpy, emo Rogue seems to have replaced the old one in the new cartoons and comics.) I never really liked even the first two "good" ones that much. This is one series in which I would welcome a reboot. I'd love to see the REAL X-Men in full Jim Lee costumes on the big screen, not forgettable mopey pretty people in black leather. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 25, 2010, 5:48 pm

IT Department At Any Company, The - Random Topics
At my old job the IT guys we had to use were called the End User Support Center, or "EUSC". Everyone at the office used to derisively pronounce "EUSC" as "You Suck". The new employees didn't know it was a joke and started calling them Yousuck to their faces. Then they had a big meeting about being called "that horrible name" and eventually changed it to something else. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 25, 2010, 5:40 pm

King Kong - Movie Series
Did you know Jackson has a 201min Extended Edition on DVD? A couple of guys have done their own fanedits: http://www.fanedit.info/TFj-n.html -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 24, 2010, 4:36 pm

Wizard of Oz, The - Movie Series
If they do another one, they should do it completely different than the 1939 one. Base it more closely on the books. Maybe even do it all in that 3D CGI that people seem to love so much, or a CG-live hybrid. But instead, I hear they've chosen to just remake the 1939 version. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 23, 2010, 4:12 pm

Denver, the Last Dinosaur - TV Shows
I always snickered at the ambiguously gay theme song lyrics: "Devnver the Last Dinosaur. He's my friend and a whole lot more." -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 21, 2010, 8:16 pm

Sega (Company) - Random Topics
I knew the "blast processing" was a lie. But I had a friend that was a die-hard Genesis fan. I think Street Fighter II might have been the knife that Super Nintendo dealt the fatal wound to Genesis. For a while, the game was exclusive to SNES. Then Genesis announced they were getting it. My friend pre-ordered it and was all set to show me how much better the Genesis version would be. Then I finally saw it and laughed at how pathetic it was. The Sega CD and 32X were also completely worthless. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 20, 2010, 2:37 pm

Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation - TV Shows
Worst incarnation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles EVER. And that's really saying something. Even TMNT co-creator Peter Laird hates this show. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 20, 2010, 1:37 am

I think maybe I'm a Cessationist. I think there could have been a God a long time ago, but he either died or got bored and went somewhere else. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 19, 2010, 12:51 am

Goode Family, The - TV Shows
I wanted to like this, but could never really get into it. Maybe a liberal family (Goodes) just isn't as funny as a conservative one (Hills)? I just felt like the Goode family felt more like stereotypical hippies than actual characters. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 19, 2010, 12:31 am

King of the Hill - TV Shows
It's weird how whenever a relative of a character would guest star, KOTH would always screw up the way the character has been previously described. Peggy's mother has already been mentioned and also Peggy's brother, who was supposed to be a wimpy guy that looked like Peggy. But they also got Dale's father wrong too. He was previously depicted as looking, sounding, and behaving similar to Dale. When he actually appeared, he was a flaming gay man than didn't look or sound at all like Dale. The episode with Boomhauer's brother Patch was weird too because Patch called his brother (Jeff) by his last name, "Boomhauer". -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 19, 2010, 12:22 am

Ghostbusters (Filmation) - TV Shows
This show greatly confused and angered me as a kid. Who the hell were these posers and this ape and where were the real Ghostbusters? The short-lived TV show that this cartoon was based off of started airing before I was born so of course I had no knowledge of it, no kid in 1986 did. So many kids must have asked for Ghostbusters toys and videos for Christmas that year and received these losers instead from ignorant grandparents. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 18, 2010, 11:25 pm

John Denver - Music Groups
The DVD version of "John Denver and the Muppets: Rocky Mountain Holiday" is edited. A scene where John Denver performs stunts in a light aircraft to cure Rowlf's hiccups was removed due to sensitivities over how Denver died. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 18, 2010, 3:52 pm
