Jetsons, The - TV Shows
It is a long time since I seen a episode of Jetsons since I was a kid in the early 90s but I remember that both versions I enjoyed through there were problems with both versions. The 60s version was a clone of Hanna-Barbarea's own Flintstones in terms of plot devices/themes (working class family living in a time period far away from ours). The 80s version I thought had better animation and was better to look at than the grainy and pastel ridden 60s version but some plot devices were abit too corny and odd (remember the talking lip diary of Judy's that she whined to). Possibly the boner was the 90s movie that came out. I remember the 90s movie version was OK but it was quickly forgotten like most TV show turned into a movies movie. Then Hanna-Barbarea haven't done anything new with the series since because it is not as popular in making the mightly dollar unlike the Flintstones or Scooby Doo. -- Submitted By: (Ani) on July 5, 2010, 4:01 am

Dharma & Greg - TV Shows
Dharma and Greg was funny on how a free-spirit and a plain-work addict person tired to make a marriage work from the start when it was accident. Dharma was funny and interesting with her going crazy things while Greg is trying to make Dharma stop for her own good (which is mostly true). Kevin Sobro and the car accident killed the show. I stopped watching it after that. -- Submitted By: (Ani) on May 8, 2010, 12:06 am

Dragonball Z - TV Shows
Dragonball Z is one of those odd cult shows that nobody watched when it first came out (maybe because most stations stick it at odd times like at 7am when most kids were not up on Saturday mornings) but then they did reruns of the dub on Toonami and it became popular. It wasn't bad show in the beginning. The animation was top notch but many kids shows had great animaiton at the time during its Toonami run and they . When Funanimation realized they had a hit, they reduce the censorship on it and try to abit more faithful to the original Japanese. However there were problems which were dicussed in other posts. A single battle told 10 to 20 episodes to finish, and the same plot devices over and over again. My personal buffs were over the background scences and use of characters. Backgrounds seemed the same constantly. Green with lollipop trees and hills and green water and more green stuff. Everything green. Z fighters were almost useless and unused when through they were important characters in the Dragonball show. Toriyama should have them defeat some of the strong enemies once in awhile. It shouldn't that bad. Kurin of the Z fighters seemed like the only one who is non-Saiyan or Namek that could have hold his own even against some of the deadly enemies and he was relevant to the plot. However it became the Saiyan show with Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Goten, Trucks and whatever thing Toriyama and others dreamed up to milk the cash cow. If Toriyama decided to off Goku without revive with the Frieza saga and end it, or focus on Gohan as main character, the show might have been better. -- Submitted By: (Ani) on May 7, 2010, 11:52 pm

American Gladiators - TV Shows
American Gladiators was an awesome show to watch. Two contests of men and women racing around and trying to earn points so they go to the finals. I felt sorry for the contestants because it seemed like the gladiators were too brutual and violent with them through it was suppose to be fake as WWF but that was what made it great: THE VIOLENCE!!! XD. Most remember contestant was the one woman who was replaced a injured contestant and won the finals. Great moment. I don't know if it was early eposides or later but the use of the cheap sets with the black blackgrounds were not good. I wanted the stuff of Romea and loud large audidences, not a cheap TV studio -- Submitted By: (Ani) on May 7, 2010, 11:29 pm

Unsolved Mysteries - TV Shows
I loved Unsolved Mysteries when I was a kid and watching it on LifeTime. The most rememberable episodes were. The super natural ones were Roswell and the men at the camp being kidnapped by aliens. They use to scare the crap out of me. I don't think it jumped but when they changed their graphics in 90s, it wasn't as enjoyment. -- Submitted By: (Ani) on May 7, 2010, 11:20 pm

IMDB - Websites
I never had a problem with IMDB. I posted only a few times for some shows and they never got deleted. It is hard to believe some of the stories (especially the Flash Gordon 2007) about how there was no fan presence. There is always going to be some fans for a show even if it was total crap and defend it to a punch. But I do believe some TV or movie studios may try to manipulate to make something favorable for increase salea. -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 22, 2010, 9:49 pm

Jesse Ventura - Celebrities
Ventura started boning when he got "Hollywood Actor into Politics" syndrome. When your career is going downhill or starting to go, some actors believe that they should try to improve society or do something helpful for this country. They return to politics when through most have no college education or law experience to help them in this complex job. Ventura became a gov. because for some reason people like actors being politics and think they will get the stuff the actors do like the movies. I think he wasn't the worst of the political actors (cough cough: worst is Reagan and Arnold cough cough). He started getting weird. He looks like a loony with his hair all strucking 100 degress, overweight and telling conspiracy theories on the View. What happen to him? -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 22, 2010, 9:34 pm

Law and Order - TV Shows
I never seen the early episodes of Law and Order but it was shocking when I saw one of the decetives shove a guy against the wall. Latest Law and Order episodes never did that. What makes later seasons of Law and Order fish food was its over-repeating plot sequence. From beginning of a epiosde. 1. There are some people in NYC yanking it up, having fun, or on ordinary business. They noticed something strange which is a dead body. 2. The police invegistate the scence. They don't find any evidence linking them to the murderer but they find out who is the victim quickly from ID or witnesses. 3. Police go to grieve-stricken family who cry and moan and have no idea who the murder. They go to the friends and acquietances of the victim. Usually a family member, friend, or acquietance is the murder. 4. Police go on wild goose chase and usally get the wrong killer. They find evidence and are shocked to find out that a previous witness is the killer. 5. 30 mins into episode-Killer is arrested and we have court for 30 mins. 6. Killer haves sly, pompous, and jerk lawyer who thinks they are hot stuff. Killer's lawyer uses a motion that the equally jerky judge approves of. Good lawyers are stressed. 7. Something comes up that is controversial or raises moral questions about U.S society/law. Good lawyers are stressed more and jab about in their offices/bar about its effect to US future. 8. Trail starts and a twist comes up where either new evidence comes up to make the killer guilty, bad witnesses on stand. Or good lawyers go to a bad turn when their case is going so well. We will call it a twist 9. Prosectuor makes dramatic speech about why the killer should be guilty in the closing arguments. 10. Guilty or not guilty then. Killer is free or not. Good lawyers talk about the consequences of the case in general or there is a twist in the end for the killer, depending if the writers want one. Repeatable 200 something episodes more. Raise and repeat. -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 22, 2010, 9:15 pm

That Girl - TV Shows
Agree with people on Ann Marie's changing her flip hair to straight down hair. You get so use to it that hairstyle it was like the show's trademark. Changing it put me a little bit off -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 22, 2010, 8:52 pm

Power Rangers (original) - TV Shows
I think Lord Zee or whatever his name was really took the show down a notch. Saban know that they had a huge hit on their hands but they ran out of stock footage from the Japanese show it was based off of. So they had to replace the mechas and film their own fights scences in the US. They tired but most fans enjoy the changes or they were starting to get bored with the series. The World Peace Summit was possibly the last nail in the coffin. Know something was wrong when I was little when they started to show stock footage of the three from previous episodes. They thought in the three new people into the mix and they were bland and uninteresting since the writers didn't care to develop them right straight away to hook viewers expect for Kat who was a brainwashed servant and who suffered from the fear of heights due to a diving accident. But Saban knew they had a stinker and tired to bring back Rita as a wife to Lord Zee to draw back viewers. Stop watching the show for awhile till the new yearly segments with new plot and cast members. Saban should have done that from the beginnning -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 19, 2010, 4:09 am

Obesity - Random Topics
When that stupid kid tired to sue McDonald's for making him overweight and that documentary, Super Size Me, came out, everybody started going on the "eating junk food and fast food is evil" attack fad like it was something new or scary. And anti-obesity people make it sound like those items cause extreme weight gain only. Agree with other posters that mental illness, discrimination and not taking personal responsibility are faults but the lack of proper education of what makes good nutrition, the high cost of healthy foods, and the modern inactive activities we do (such as typing on the net all day) makes it also a problem. -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 18, 2010, 4:44 pm

Titanic - Movie Series
I have to admit it was a great movie when it came out and is possibly one of the greatest movies of all time with its great plot, interesting characters, the action, and the music. But then there was hype from the media and the fans. Either it was Leo, Leo, Leo with millions of screaming fangirls chasing after him, the stupid repeating of catch phrases, or the Dion being played over and over again every where that you wanted to kill yourself. It seemed that when my junior high choir was affected by it with a mess of out of tune girls singing it; thinking it was the cutest fad ever. God I think very choir in 1997 was possibly singing that song that year. -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 18, 2010, 4:14 pm

Sailor Moon - TV Shows
Rini wasn't a really bad character in my opinion. She was great as a side character and sort of drove the mystery as to who she was. I liked her as a villian also when she was brainwashed into serving for the Black Moon group. Totally awesome. When the show started to go downhill was when DiC lose the English rights to Cloveway. I think the DeadBusters arc (or the Heart Snatchers arc as I like to call it)was the greatest arc next to the Black Moon with dark and grainly story, the Scouts fighting among themselves and life/death decisions if they could save Haruha when through her sexy, alterative demon personality could destroy the whole world. Pegawsus and Dead Cirsus were the point of no return. With excellenting DeadBusters Pegasus arc was boring by comparsion and Dead Cirus I didn't watch. When I did watch it, it was weird and stupid. Then Sailor Stars did to the point where men transformed into women which sounds like a neat plot device but no American programmer of kiddy shows is going to show that due to the "don't ask, don't tell" of anything homosexual on kiddie shows. Sailor Moon is worth the time but acquiring the English rights to the show is so murky that I don't see the show anytime soon. -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 18, 2010, 3:55 pm

Hey Arnold! - TV Shows
It didn't really remember the show being deboned. Maybe where Gerald had his voice changed due to puberty. At least they didn't change the actor, and the episode said that it was OK to change and still do the stuff you love (the singing). But every Nick Toon seemed to suffer the "Motion Picture Movie" kiss of death where the movie version comes out and the series disappears afterwards or is forgotten. -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 18, 2010, 1:17 am

Wild and Crazy Kids - TV Shows
I thought it never jumped. I thought it was very good show. They could make a updated version but I don't think it would be as good as the original -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 18, 2010, 12:39 am

Mythbusters - TV Shows
I didn't mind Tori, Greg, Scotty, or Carrie being added onto the show. They were fun. I think where the show boned was when they started to do the TV or movie specials. They weren't really all that great and started to get gimmacky. Also when they started to post myths on the net. I was bad at the time because I didn't have the net. They should have shown the stuff they did for the net on the show. It was unfair. Also the explosions and destruction starting to get abit boring. Sorry but that is the way it is -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 18, 2010, 12:03 am

Family Matters - TV Shows
Agree with the Nutty Professor rip-off of Steve Urikel. Very odd and weird. I remember him and Laura going to Dinseyland episode. Maybe that was when the show fell through -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 17, 2010, 11:53 pm

Snopes - Websites
Very great site through abit boring somethings. Great for urban legends and popular myth fans -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 17, 2010, 11:42 pm

Wal-Mart - Random Topics
I think Wal-Mart boned when they started putting in five stores in one area. Talk about being monopoly hog. I think the worst part about it is the actual stores. Stores are never clean (junk in the aisles), the workers seem moody or mean (meaning that they hate their jobs), and that they are crowded and full of people that are strange to everybody. It is a good store to shop in casually but I prefer Target more than anything -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 17, 2010, 11:11 pm

Mike, Lu, & Og - TV Shows
I remember the animation for the show was crap. Also the humor was very much dry and not as hyper as most kids' shows. The only thing I liked about it was Lu and how she was screaming at her turtle to get her to help her with her scams -- Submitted By: (Ani) on April 17, 2010, 11:05 pm
