Sun Tanning - Random Topics
You hit the nail on the head there, Parker. Sun tanning is overrated and not worth the trouble, skin cancer or no. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 31, 2012, 6:32 am

Darva Conger - Celebrities
The only good thing Darva did when her 15 minutes of fame were up was get out of the spotlight and stay out of it - something that Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Octomom, and the Kardashians should have done (the sooner they do, the better). -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 31, 2012, 6:28 am

Michael Bloomberg - Celebrities
And now I hear not too long after the theater shooting in Colorado, Bloomberg opens his big mouth and demonstrates how he's so out-of-touch with reality - he urged police to go on strike even when it is RIGHT THERE in the contract that striking is illegal and therefore is not an option. Bloomberg's off his rocker if he thinks a police strike would make things better. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on July 28, 2012, 10:00 am

Common Era - Random Topics
Boned from day one. It sounds stupid (what else do you expect of the PC bunch) and it's nothing more than thinly-disguised censorship. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 26, 2012, 6:01 am

CAPCOM - Random Topics
@Mr. Zimpy - Yeah, that's EA Sports' schtick (selling same games with minor differences and calling it a sequel - case in point would be the Madden football series, but I digress). I used to like Capcom, but not as much now because of their obsession with the Street Fighter series and their outright disregard for their other big titles. They cancel Mega Man Legends 3, they refuse to localize Ace Attorney Investigations 2 for American players...but they just HAVE to have the latest "version" of Street Fighter on the shelves yesterday. Add in the DLC mess, and Capcom might as well be a pile of fish bones. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 26, 2012, 5:58 am

Pepsi - Random Topics
@stryker73 - Yeah, I remember Like soda. It was available back when I was 7 or 8 years old, living in Chicago at the time. Anyway, about Pepsi...it's so-so with me - I prefer Mountain Dew. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 26, 2012, 5:44 am

Bath salts - Random Topics
I, too, never heard of bath salts being used as recreational drugs until recently. It's a good thing I don't use bath salts, either for baths or other stuff I'd rather not say. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 17, 2012, 10:15 am

FoxTrot - Random Topics
I, too, liked FoxTrot back in its heyday - then the old gags were being recycled and reused to the point it got predictable. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 17, 2012, 10:12 am

Nadya "Octomom" Suleman - Celebrities
And now she has filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy - she hasn't made a mortgage payment in a year, spends the money she gets from welfare on herself instead of what's REALLY necessary ($520 for a Brazilian blowout when the plumbing is messed up?). Talk about screwed-up priorities - but then again, it fits well with a screwed-up mind. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on May 1, 2012, 2:16 am

Dick Clark - Celebrities
I'm afraid the next New Year's Rockin' Eve will be without Dick Clark - he died recently at age 82 from a heart attack. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on April 19, 2012, 6:21 am

Kate Gosselin - Celebrities
I recently heard she made an appearance on Dr. Drew and she went on and on about how she's so "lonely". Good grief...she treats anyone who as much as glances at her like trash, and she wonders why people can't stand her? Her time in the spotlight expired years ago - GO AWAY, KATE! -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on February 25, 2012, 6:43 am

Marxism - Random Topics
Marxism sounds great on paper, but making it work...that's something else. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on January 19, 2012, 12:19 pm

Earth Day - Random Topics
Day one. Man has no more control over the climate than anything else on the planet, past or present. It's just another thinly-disguised attempt to make people feel awful about what they do and sneak through laws that take away freedoms. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on January 19, 2012, 12:16 pm

United States Congress - Random Topics
Boned big time with the consideration of SOPA and PIPA. Add in the fact most (if not all) of those "elected officials" spend like money will disappear tomorrow, fail to represent the people that elected them, and don't get punished for laws they broke - Congress is a huge cauldron full of fail, regardless of party affiliation and political standpoints. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on January 19, 2012, 12:12 pm

Kathie Lee Gifford - Celebrities
Yeah - ever since Frank Gifford was caught cheating on Kathie Lee, I haven't heard a thing about her since then either. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on January 19, 2012, 12:04 pm

Black Friday - Random Topics
I went shopping on Black Friday one time many years ago, and I'm still psychologically scarred to this day. All I wanted to do was get some blank VHS tapes for my dad to record Jaguars games, and I stood in line for near 2 hours just to get through checkout! I swear everybody ahead of me in line was buying up the whole inventory and the people working at checkout were half-asleep. Wild horses couldn't make me go shopping on Black Friday from that day forth. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on January 8, 2012, 9:20 am

Clint Eastwood - Celebrities
The last thing Clint needs is a reality show - that's something for those desperate to prolong their 15 minutes of fame (case in point - the Kardashians). I personally hope he realizes the error of wanting a reality show very soon. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on January 1, 2012, 10:57 am

Youtube - Websites
Saw the new homepage as well - not only does it look harder to navigate, but it's hardly appealing to view. Looks like the ones behind this decision obviously never learned the maxim "If it ain't broke, DON'T FIX IT." -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on December 2, 2011, 7:12 am

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) - Random Topics
Regarding the Mario and Tanooki suit mess - anytime I start thinking PETA can't possibly be any dumber, they prove me wrong big time. Seems like their track record is one long pathetic trek heavy on the stupidity. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on November 16, 2011, 12:15 am

Jon and Kate Plus 8 - TV Shows
YES! Good riddance to bad rubbish! -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 17, 2011, 12:28 am
