Adam Sandler - Celebrities
Sandler's a bit of a hit-and-miss type - a couple of personal favorites are Little Nicky, 8 Crazy Nights, and Happy Gilmore. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on September 5, 2010, 8:36 am

Nintendo Power (magazine) - Random Topics
Nintendo Power was by and far a wonderful gaming magazine when it was unveiled in '88. But of course...time was a cruel mistress to it and other gaming magazines. With the advent of the Internet, magazines in general became obsolete. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 30, 2010, 10:25 am

George H. W. Bush - Celebrities
"And here's Bush. He said 'Read my lips' 'cause he was gonna be lying out of his ass!" --Gallagher -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 30, 2010, 10:11 am

Five Guys (restaurant) - Random Topics
Although the food is pricey and not the healthiest option out there, Five Guys ROCKS! -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 30, 2010, 7:26 am

Elvis Presley - Celebrities
Elvis was mostly before my time - he died when I was a year old. From what I've heard and read about him - he's clearly better than those who pollute the airwaves these days. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 30, 2010, 7:24 am

Fred (YouTube) - Celebrities
I hear Fred's creator rakes in roughly $150K a year because of this. Good grief. And all it consists of is a bunch of screaming, eye-rolling, and talking like he just inhaled a tank of helium. Doesn't take much to entertain people these days. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 29, 2010, 12:34 pm

Edward D. Wood Jr. - Celebrities
Although Ed Wood directed quite a few bad movies, he at least put forth a modicum of effort behind his work - something Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer could never do. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 29, 2010, 12:27 pm

Thanksgiving - Random Topics
Seems like nobody gives a damn about Thanksgiving anymore - they only look forward to it because the day after that, they're indulging in Black Friday specials. And before that, the Christmas commercials are on TV and radio, and the decorations are already being put up. Calling Thanksgiving "Turkey Day" is a real turkey of an idea if you ask me. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 29, 2010, 12:11 pm

Rodney Dangerfield - Celebrities
Never boned. Dangerfield's self-deprecating comedy is always good for some laughs. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 19, 2010, 4:44 pm

Tiger Woods - Celebrities
Tiger needs to learn to cool it with the swearing and club-throwing on the course, and stop with the skirt-chasing off the course. As long as he keeps up his old shenanigans, he'll never be anywhere as great as the Golden Bear. In a nutshell - clean up your act, Tiger. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 19, 2010, 4:25 pm

Rocky - Movie Series
The first three were pretty good, Rocky 4 was meh, and Rocky 5...bleah. For most of the flick, I wanted Rocky to sock that loudmouthed Don King wannabe just to shut him up. I haven't seen Rocky Balboa yet, so I don't know whether this series remains boned or has dug its way out. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 14, 2010, 12:01 am

Look Who's Talking - Movie Series
First Look Who's Talking was pretty good, second one was...eh. Third one...one they shouldn't have bothered making. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 13, 2010, 11:59 pm

Land Before Time, The - Movie Series
They should have left the Land Before Time series well enough alone after the first one. I might give the second one a chance, but after that...fuhgeddaboudit. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 13, 2010, 11:58 pm

Evil Dead - Movie Series
First two movies were watchable, but if there was one in the series that truly rocked, it would have to be Army of Darkness - lots of memorable quotes, visual gags, you name it, Army of Darkness has it. "Well, hello Mister Fancy Pants. I got news for you pal, you ain't leadin' but two things right now - Jack and s**t, and Jack left town." -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 13, 2010, 11:55 pm

Napster - Random Topics
The recording industry trying to shut down Napster all those years ago instead of figure out some mutually beneficial conclusion was one of the worst mistakes they ever made. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 11, 2010, 12:00 pm

National Football League (NFL) - Random Topics
Roger Goodell...get that bum outta there! He fixes what ain't broke and doesn't do a thing about the real problems. The fact he didn't do anything about Bill Bellicheater except cover it up proves he's a wimp of the worst kind. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 11, 2010, 11:57 am

KFC - Random Topics
Grilled chicken was meh for me...the food is still good, but rather pricey. Still, I indulge in some KFC every so often, if only to give a big loud "F*** you" to PeTA. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 11, 2010, 11:52 am

For Better or For Worse - Random Topics
For Better or For Worse wasn't the same after Farley died - anytime there was a death in the strip after Farley (notably Elly's mom and Mr. B (the rabbit)) - I half-expected another flood of letters printed in the editorial page of my local newspaper that had variations on the theme of "Comics are supposed to be funny! Death isn't FUNNY!!" -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 11, 2010, 11:50 am

Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) - Random Topics
The RIAA suing old ladies and children over illegal downloads made them look even more stupid than they already were. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 11, 2010, 11:43 am

Sagging - Random Topics
Sagging, if anything, makes the person look more stupid than they already are. Seriously, there is NOTHING more ridiculous than pants hanging so low that your skivvies are showing. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 11, 2010, 11:40 am
