Dennis Rodman - Celebrities
I wasn't fond of Rodman when I first heard of him - the looks he sported on the basketball court made me cringe. But hearing him spout how great Kim Jong-Un is makes me want to hurl. He even says his intentions are to go over to North Korea and spend time there - might as well call him Prongyang Dennis. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on April 15, 2013, 8:45 am
Justin Bieber - Celebrities
Overrated and not worth listening to. And hearing about his tantrum(s) after that nightclub turned away his underage friends only proves to me some people seek celebrity status so they can start thinking they're above the law or something like that. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on March 26, 2013, 9:36 am
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo - TV Shows
Day one. Hell will freeze over before I remotely consider watching this putrid pile of slop. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on March 26, 2013, 9:32 am
New England Patriots - Random Topics
After the Patriots lost to the Ravens in the postseason, I heard that Bill Belichick decided to be a sore loser and refuse to give any post-game interview regarding the game. Seeing as he got a slap on the wrist for Spygate, I strongly doubt the NFL will take any action on him displaying poor sportsmanship. As long as Belijerk is the Patriots' head coach, I doubt I'll be liking them anytime soon. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on January 23, 2013, 6:14 am
Conspiracy Theories - Random Topics
I, too, have heard of that idiot professor spouting that nonsense claim about the Sandy Hook shooting being a hoax. There is just NO WAY something like that can be staged, plain and simple. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on January 23, 2013, 6:08 am
Westboro Baptist Church - Random Topics
I've worked with USPS long enough to find out the ZIP code of the WBC's headquarters starts with the number 666. Coincidence? I strongly doubt it! Heaven sure doesn't want Fred Phelps and his inbred congregation, and hell's afraid they'll take over. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on December 26, 2012, 8:48 am
Westboro Baptist Church - Random Topics
Ladies and gentlemen, decisive evidence that Fred Phelps and the Westboro Baptist Church are like school on Saturday - NO CLASS. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on December 18, 2012, 1:32 pm
Youtube - Websites
Geez...just when I'm getting used to the format that I admit I complained about in my last entry about YouTube, they up and change the format/look AGAIN. The way it looks now...a picture of it should be put next to "eyesore" in the dictionary. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on December 9, 2012, 8:24 am
Janeane Garofalo - Celebrities
I said this for Sean Penn, and I reiterate it for Ms. Garofalo - if she hates the U.S. so much and thinks that Iran, North Korea, Cuba, and/or Venezuela is so much better, THEN MOVE THERE AND SHUT THE F@#$% UP. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on December 9, 2012, 8:12 am
Frank Welker - Celebrities
Another one of the great voice actors of all time - easily one of those in the upper tier. Never boned. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on December 9, 2012, 8:08 am
Mel Blanc - Celebrities
I, too, say Mel Blanc never boned. He is an icon in voice-acting, and easily one of the more memorable. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on December 9, 2012, 8:06 am
PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) - Random Topics
@Pelirojo - I recall reading somewhere that a study conducted some time ago came to the conclusion that lack of meat in one's diet leads to brain shrinkage. PETA is proving how true that study is in spades with the stupidity they spew time and time again. I mean, that idiotic "Got Beer?" campaign (drink beer instead of milk ( -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 21, 2012, 7:12 am
Sun Tanning - Random Topics
You hit the nail on the head there, Parker. Sun tanning is overrated and not worth the trouble, skin cancer or no. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 31, 2012, 6:32 am
Darva Conger - Celebrities
The only good thing Darva did when her 15 minutes of fame were up was get out of the spotlight and stay out of it - something that Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Octomom, and the Kardashians should have done (the sooner they do, the better). -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 31, 2012, 6:28 am
Michael Bloomberg - Celebrities
And now I hear not too long after the theater shooting in Colorado, Bloomberg opens his big mouth and demonstrates how he's so out-of-touch with reality - he urged police to go on strike even when it is RIGHT THERE in the contract that striking is illegal and therefore is not an option. Bloomberg's off his rocker if he thinks a police strike would make things better. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on July 28, 2012, 10:00 am
Common Era - Random Topics
Boned from day one. It sounds stupid (what else do you expect of the PC bunch) and it's nothing more than thinly-disguised censorship. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 26, 2012, 6:01 am
CAPCOM - Random Topics
@Mr. Zimpy - Yeah, that's EA Sports' schtick (selling same games with minor differences and calling it a sequel - case in point would be the Madden football series, but I digress). I used to like Capcom, but not as much now because of their obsession with the Street Fighter series and their outright disregard for their other big titles. They cancel Mega Man Legends 3, they refuse to localize Ace Attorney Investigations 2 for American players...but they just HAVE to have the latest "version" of Street Fighter on the shelves yesterday. Add in the DLC mess, and Capcom might as well be a pile of fish bones. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 26, 2012, 5:58 am
Pepsi - Random Topics
@stryker73 - Yeah, I remember Like soda. It was available back when I was 7 or 8 years old, living in Chicago at the time. Anyway, about Pepsi...it's so-so with me - I prefer Mountain Dew. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 26, 2012, 5:44 am
Bath salts - Random Topics
I, too, never heard of bath salts being used as recreational drugs until recently. It's a good thing I don't use bath salts, either for baths or other stuff I'd rather not say. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 17, 2012, 10:15 am
FoxTrot - Random Topics
I, too, liked FoxTrot back in its heyday - then the old gags were being recycled and reused to the point it got predictable. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on June 17, 2012, 10:12 am
