American Idol - TV Shows
Good-bye and good riddance to American Idol! I never was interested in this pathetic contest in the first place (and I still don't give a damn about Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood, by the way), and wished it would end already. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on May 17, 2015, 6:23 am

Shia LaBeouf - Celebrities
After reading spacer's entry, all I have to say is...good grief! I don't blame Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg, Michael Bay, and Brad Pitt not wanting to have anything to do with Shia after all that - I wouldn't touch him with a twenty-foot pole either. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on March 1, 2015, 4:43 pm

Iggy Azalea - Celebrities
I, too, think that Fancy isn't that great, either. I tried watching the music video - found the song to be grating. I find Weird Al's parody of Fancy to be a lot easier on the ears. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on March 1, 2015, 4:28 pm

Leonard Nimoy - Celebrities
He will always be remembered as Spock, though I'll always remember him as the voice of Galvatron in Transformers the Movie. Rest in peace, good sir. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on March 1, 2015, 4:27 pm

All the more reason I avoid medications that are advertised on TV, especially when said commercials spend at least 2-3 minutes yapping about the medicine's side effects. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 30, 2014, 9:19 am

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo - TV Shows
Good riddance to this godawful piece of slop. It's about time the decision-makers at TLC used their heads for something other than keeping their ears apart. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 30, 2014, 9:14 am

Geico Commercials - Random Topics
Just about every commercial break has a Geico ad thrown in somewhere. I can't stand the pig (seriously, what the hell were they thinking when they came up with that?), the gecko is eh, the "did you know" stuff has gotten stale, and there were some "happier than" ones I liked (e.g. Gallagher at a farmer's market, Slinky on an escalator). That said, the commercials in general don't convince me to give Geico a shot. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on October 5, 2014, 12:42 am

E! - Random Topics
I think E! should be renamed the All Kardashian Channel. Whenever I check the channel listings on TV, most of the time E! is showing yet ANOTHER episode of (blech) Keeping Up With the Kardashians. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on September 19, 2014, 7:28 am

Robin Thicke - Celebrities
You took the words out of my mouth, cartooner. I'd say the same thing as well - I read the lyrics to Blurred Lines and I couldn't believe something like this could be remotely entertaining. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on September 19, 2014, 7:21 am

Big Brother - TV Shows
Some nights when I have to work (overnight shift w/ USPS), this show is on the TVs in the break area. One time, after one contestant was evicted, another one burst into tears - it made me facepalm and mutter "People actually watch this crap?" There isn't enough money in the world to get me remotely interested in crapola such as this - better shows have gotten the axe so this swill can remain on the airwaves. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 24, 2014, 2:42 am

Jenny McCarthy - Celebrities
Un-freakin'-believable. Only recently does Jenny go around spouting "I wasn't anti-vaccine, I just wanted parents to ask the tough questions." Sure you did, Jenny...sure you did. Way to backpedal there, ya bubblehead. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on May 18, 2014, 3:42 am

Perez Hilton - Celebrities
I don't know about that, cartooner - I'd like to sock Perez as well, but I don't want any dog spit on my hands. When he was born, the doctor slapped the wrong end. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on May 18, 2014, 3:38 am

Westboro Baptist Church - Random Topics
Now with Fred Phelps gone, the world's a better place. Good riddance to him. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on March 24, 2014, 8:11 am

Youtube - Websites
Amen to that, cartooner. It used to be I'd be able to post a comment because I'm logged onto YouTube - now I can't anymore. It's bullshit! -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on November 13, 2013, 10:54 am

Lance Armstrong - Celebrities
When I heard of the accusations regarding Lance, my first thought was it was the French being a bunch of sore losers and crybabies once again - but when the truth came out, I was terribly ashamed of having supported Lance in the first place. It wouldn't surprise me if he knew all along that the truth would eventually come to light but went ahead and used that stuff anyway. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 1, 2013, 7:09 am

Leah Remini - Celebrities
Boned - embraced $cientology. Un-boned - broke away from $cientology. Congrats to her for breaking away from one of the biggest pseudo-religions this side of the Milky Way. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on August 1, 2013, 6:57 am

Westboro Baptist Church - Random Topics
Recently, a Satanist group gave Fred Phelps a taste of his own medicine by doing a ritual that they believe would turn Phelps' dead mother a lesbian in the afterlife over her grave. Designated Hitter - Random Topics
I'm on the fence on this matter - on one hand, most pitchers aren't great hitters and would probably kill/endanger the rally (if one is going on). But, on the other hand, crazy things have happened with a pitcher coming to bat (case in point - Rick Camp of the Atlanta Braves tying up an extra-innings game between the Braves and Mets with a solo homer in 1985, and he wasn't a great hitter from what I've heard). -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on July 20, 2013, 9:05 am

Jenny McCarthy - Celebrities
I recently heard she's going to be a new panelist or whatever on The View (not that I care). She boned long ago and continues to be in lemon-wedges-and-tartar-sauce turf as long as she continues with that garbage about childhood vaccines. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on July 20, 2013, 9:01 am

Josie and the Pussycats - TV Shows
Boned big-time when they went to outer space. It was Alexandra's fault they went to outer space in the first place (she shoved her way in front of the band posing for publicity photos, they all fall inside the ship (no thanks to her), she "accidentally" activates the ship and off they go). And anytime Josie and the others helped out some alien race with their problems and they were headed back to Earth as a reward, it was usually Alexandra who pulled a Gilligan and knocked the ship off-course. Why they tolerated that two-faced bitch, I'll never know. -- Submitted By: (BigAl) on July 2, 2013, 7:46 am
