Sam & Cat - TV Shows
Like 'Joanie Love Chachie' (spelling probably incorrect) here you have a new show built around a couple of 'second bananas', only in this case the so-called 'bananas' came from two different wildly popular shows that mercifully ended their respective runs. Guess Nicklodeon thought they could bottle up the old magic to use in the formula for a new show and keep that gravy-train a'rollin'. Nice try Nick. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on September 2, 2014, 5:59 pm

Xena: Warrior Princess - TV Shows
X:WP was a rather cheesey show IMO. I love good fantasy, but I just could not get into this show to save my life. That being said, I think Lucy Lawless is somewhat underrated as an actress. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on September 2, 2014, 3:14 pm

Rescue Heroes - TV Shows
My son loves this show. But even he loves it when I make fun of the size of those people's feet! Good lord! Are they, like, mutants or something? -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on September 2, 2014, 3:10 pm

Bananas in Pyjamas - TV Shows
I was flipping through the channels one morning and came across a segment of this show on our local PBS station. In the segment, the Bananas in Pyjamas were doing some tandem dance routine in a darkened house. I'm a grown man and segement totally creeped me out for some reason. I don't know, maybe I have some strange undiagnosed phobia regarding anthropomorphic fruit beings, but dang, I HAD to change the freaking channel. I will note that I get a little case of the heebeejeebees watching the Annoying Orange as well. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on September 2, 2014, 2:52 pm

Small Wonder - TV Shows
After forcing myself to watch a few episodes of this horrifically sad excuse for a sit-com, I wanted to book a flicht to Los Angeles, take a cab to the studio where this was produced, kick in the door to the writers room for this show and exclaim... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2xauk4l_Hg -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on September 2, 2014, 12:51 pm

Whataburger - Random Topics
I grew up on Whataburger (yeah, I'm from Texas). A medium #5 combo all the way will lift my spirits anytime. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on September 2, 2014, 11:43 am

Men Without Hats - Music Groups
So if you go to a Men Without Hats concert, do they just do a 90 minute version of Safety Dance? -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on August 27, 2014, 5:05 pm

Office, The - TV Shows
The boning moment for me was when they tried out that 'Back Door Pilot' episode- The Farm- featuring Dwight. Sorry, but like The Ropers of Three's Company fame, I think Dwight's character is a truly funny character, but not funny enough to carry his own show. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on August 25, 2014, 1:11 pm

Arsenio Hall Show, The - TV Shows

Star Trek: Enterprise - TV Shows
Just looked back over some old comments "... For everyone who says I like standalones, well then go watch Matlock or Murder She Wrote. Television has evolved since the 90s. -- Submitted By: (dauntless)" Ouch! Dude, I'm not THAT old. LOL! -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on May 30, 2014, 1:34 pm

Walker, Texas Ranger - TV Shows
I think Norris knew the show was about to go on life support when he unleashed those 'backdoor pilot' episodes for 'Sons of Thunder.' -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on May 30, 2014, 12:49 pm

Dora the Explorer - TV Shows
THAT'S what I did wrong that time I got robbed at gunpoint that time in Taco Bell. I forgot to yell "Swipers! NO swiping! Swipers not swinging that crowbar at me! Swipers no..." BLAM! -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on May 22, 2014, 11:25 pm

Back to the Future - Movie Series
@Parker-LOL! Yes, I really enjoy BTTF as a series, however I recently watched it with my kids and I found myself repeatedly having to explain so many of the gags and references to 80's pop culture. For instance, the whole ZZ Top cameo and the spinning guitars thing in part 3 were completely lost on my 13 & 9 year old. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on July 5, 2013, 1:43 am

Disney - Random Topics
I totally agree with Travoltron. Enough with the princesses already! Yes Disney, we get it, princesses sell well because they appeal to the 2 to 7 year old female demographic. This is America, you have a right to make a buck or two, but good God-you have overloaded us with princesses. PLEASE! You're capable of so much more. You have the money. You have access to the talent. Just give us some really cool 2D animated movies that AREN'T trying to cram princess merchandise down our throats and we might pay to go see it. And mark my words Disney, if you even TRY to princess-up Star Wars, I will loathe you forever. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on April 30, 2013, 9:54 am

Joanie Loves Chachi - TV Shows
I think people were already so burned out on Happy Days this show, which frankly was built around a couple of Happy Days second bananas, was doomed for the fillet knife before it hit the cutting board. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on April 8, 2013, 10:02 am

Eric Andre Show, The - TV Shows
Caught a few episodes of this show. Had someone given a couple of video cameras, a studio space and a modest budget to my friend Alvin and I back when were were in high school, The Eric Andre Show would be EXACTLY the type of show we would have produced. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on April 8, 2013, 9:53 am

BoneTheFish.com - Websites
Don't know if this glitch has ever been reported but anytime I try to post a topic that includes apostrophes, en-dashes or em-dashes or ampersands, I get an invalid character error message and my comment wil not go through. Is there anyway that could be fixed or is this intentional for some reason. Thanks. FF -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on March 28, 2013, 9:36 am

Dennis Rodman - Celebrities
What a douche bag. I guess he had to find some way to get the media to start talking about him again. That or the North Korean government was soliciting American celebrities to come over and pal around with their leader and make him look cool and relevant- and Rodman was the only one who took them up on the offer. I am betting on the latter. And if thats the case, the North Korean government must be REAAAAALLLLLY out of touch with reality. LOL! -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on March 28, 2013, 9:27 am

Lance Armstrong - Celebrities
I imagine somewhere Floyd Landis doing the fist pump and saying "YYYYeesssssss!!!" Yeah, I was one of those who had 'drank the Koolaid' and really believed that Armstrong was just awesome like that and that the French were just being spoil-sports because an American kept winning 'their' game. I began to question my belief though as more and more disgraced cyclists kept coming out and saying something to the effect of 'Lance does it too, he's just really sneaky about it.' I suppose the good that will come of this is that it will serve to clean up this sport as well as others by leading to better and more effective doping detection methods. But, there will always be the cheats who will figure out a better way around it too. Considering what an elaborate operation this must have been for Armstrong to dance around the accusations for so long and still come out smelling like a rose-It wouldn't surprise me one bit to see Armstrong and his cohorts in this become highly paid consultants to combat doping practices in various sports. You know, kinda like those skilled criminals who wind up going to work for a law enforcement agency as a consultant to combat the very thing they got busted for? -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on January 28, 2013, 9:27 am
