I Dream of Jeannie - TV Shows
I enjoyed this show pretty much up until the last season. However, are correct baldrick- This show needed the conflict to remain viable. Had the show been about ME finding some hot blonde with limitless magial powers, parading around the house all day in crazy lingerie calling me "Master".... well, let's just say the pilot episode would've been over in about 15 minutes ending with me as the richest man in the galaxy retiring in luxury on my own tropical island. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on August 23, 2010, 12:00 pm

Adventures of Superman, The - TV Shows
I must say that for it's time, it really wasn't a bad show. It can fall a tad on the cornball side but it's still pretty watchable in my opinion. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on August 23, 2010, 11:53 am

Frosty the Snowman - TV Shows
"... yet for whatever reason it is forgotten and the DVD makers keep bundling Frosty with "Returns"." Smells of a 'back room' deal to me. And yes, the original was wonderful. 'Frosty Returns' was just lame lame lame lame lame. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on August 19, 2010, 1:04 pm

Great Grape Ape Show, The - TV Shows
This show was clear proof that the people who were producing Saturday morning cartoons in the 70's were, as Mr. Hand would say, "...on dope." -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on August 19, 2010, 12:52 pm

Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat, The - TV Shows
This show was a trip! I happened to catch an episode one day and was hooked. My absolute favorite episode was the one about the Ghost of the Pirate King. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on August 19, 2010, 12:24 pm

Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids - TV Shows
Fat Albert was pretty much a Saturday morning staple for me. However, I was beginning to lose interest in Sat AM cartoons in general about the time the Brown Hornet rolled around. What I do recall of that character- he didn't add much to the show. I was out of high school and in the 9 to 5 work world by the time The Legal Eagle appeared on the scene and thus I have no memory of that one. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on August 19, 2010, 12:21 pm

Sagging - Random Topics
I remember driving through a neighborhood in Los Angeles about 13 years ago and seeing some guy with those big baggy hanging down pants and a friend in the car with me said "Man I sure will be glad when that stupid A--ed look goes out of style." Little did I know 13 years later it would still be around. Ugh. I sincerely hoped that that particular style of pants would become to the 90's what 'Elephant Bells' were to the 70's. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on August 12, 2010, 2:37 pm

Mike Myers - Celebrities
Travoltron, I think you've hit the nail square on the head. Comedians tend to be very dark people by nature and it is that darkness from whence their humor arises. When the lose that darkness, they tend to lose the humor along with it. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on July 27, 2010, 2:51 pm

1970's - Random Topics
I suppose I'm so fond of the 70's because I was between the ages of 4 & 14 in that decade. Some of the fondest memories of my life occurred in that decade. No responsibilities, no worries, not a care in the world. The popular music and the TV shows were great! I will say that the only thing that really boned in the 70's (IMO) were 'Elephant Bells'. Those jeans/slacks with the MASSIVE bells at the cuff. Any time I rode my bike (metallic purple with the high handle bars and the 'banana seat' with the 'sissy bar'), I had to roll up one leg of my pants to keep from getting them caught in the chain. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on July 19, 2010, 10:42 am

IMDB - Websites
Has anyone been to imdb.com recently? I just went there to look up some info on an actor- AND THEY'VE REFORMATTED THE FREAKING SITE!!! And from what I can tell, you can no longer do an actor search. W-T-F?????!!!! I mean this reformat appears to be something on the order of what TV Guide did to 'The Site Which Shall Not Be Named.' Tell me I'm dreaming. Am I just looking in the wrong place for what I'm needing? Is the function still there just well hidden? -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on July 15, 2010, 12:27 pm

And yes Dolfan, I do agree that Bailey was much more attractive than Loni anderson. Bailey kind had that 'hot-geek' thing going on. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on July 6, 2010, 4:36 pm

My brother and I LOVED the Wishbook. Every year when we got it, we would immediately go through and start circling everything we wanted for Christmas. Then, my little brother would sneak it later and start x-ing out the stuff I circled just to hack me off. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on July 6, 2010, 4:27 pm

Real Ultimate Power - Websites
One of the most juvenile humor sites I've ever visited, but I will confess that I don't believe that I have ever laughed so hard at a website's content before or since (particularly the movie scripts). Word of warning: the humor on that site is definitely adult oriented so- you know, just a fair warning. -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on July 6, 2010, 4:11 pm
