Everybody loves Raymond - TV Shows
Typical mindless TV fare when the father is an idiot, wife insults, kids are smart asses. Everybody Loves Raymond, According to Jim, Still Standing, etc, all the same. -- Submitted By: (rixter) on October 27, 2011, 11:48 am

Oprah Winfrey Show, The - TV Shows
I picture her last show with her being carried out of the studio on a litter hoisted on the shoulders of four eunuchs, lead by BFF Gail dancing and playing a harp, while the audience of middle-aged white women toss rose petals in her path. What do you think? -- Submitted By: (rixter) on May 17, 2011, 12:45 pm

Survivor - TV Shows
Survivor Redemption Island is the last season that I will watch. I've watched every season since the beginning and I'm getting tired of all of the returning players. Boston Rob winning Redemption Island has ended for me. He surely should have won since he is a veteran player of two reality shows and four seasons, plus he had a bunch of lackeys who swooned at his every word, and really were really no competition for him. And now they've announced that Survivor South Pacific will be another rehash with returning players and another redemption island! It's time to put this puppy to bed, one and for all. -- Submitted By: (rixter) on May 16, 2011, 10:14 am

James Bond - Movie Series
As soon as Sean Connery left the series it boned. With Moore, it devolved into a parody of itself. Closer to the Our Man Flint Series, which was a true parody. It improved a little under Pierce Brosnan and it's on the right track now with Daniel Craig, but it still falls short of the Bourne series. -- Submitted By: (rixter) on April 20, 2011, 11:13 am

Led Zeppelin - Music Groups
"Plagiarized a few songs"? There are at least ten songs that they stole from other acts. That's what we know about. I'll grant you this, they're the greatest cover band ever. -- Submitted By: (rixter) on April 19, 2011, 2:49 pm

BEATLES, The - Music Groups
The most innovative band ever. At their zenith, the Beatles were a genre of music in of themselves. The only negative is when they let Ringo sing godawful songs -- Submitted By: (rixter) on April 19, 2011, 2:42 pm

Oprah Winfrey Show, The - TV Shows
I stopped watching when the premise of her show went from discussing current issues to shoving self-improvement down our throats. She would have some "expert" on to tell us how to live/spend/eat/pray/love, and she would look into the audience and add her two cents. All the while these glassy-eyed Stepford wives would nod in agreement as if it were gospel. Sickening. That and the overbearing adulation of celebrities was finally too much for me. And don't give me that,"Well she's given away so much money to those in need" mantra. It's all self gratification. I glad her show is going off the air. I hope my local station puts on something better. Oprah, please go away! -- Submitted By: (rixter) on April 19, 2011, 2:23 pm

House - TV Shows
Too many dream sequences. Anytime someone acts out of character, or an improbable scene occurs, I now expect it to be a dream or hallucination. Too many ridiculous and off the wall stunts that House pulls now. Really, a song and dance segment, come on now! The new crew...Boring. Kal Penn made the right decision to get out when he did. If this crap was in the first season then it would have never got past the first year. Oh, and if I hear autoimmune or myocardial infarction one more time on this show I'll scream! -- Submitted By: (rixter) on March 23, 2011, 5:53 pm
