The Split. IRL/Indy Car splits because they think people will follow unknown American drivers, rather than follow semi-known foreign drivers?!? Under that logic, Alex Ovechkin (Russia) shouldn't be nowhere near popular in Washington for Hockey, Half these Dominican players shouldn't be stars in Baseball, and guys like Dirk Nowitzki (Germany), Paul Gasol (Spain), Yao Ming (China), or Patrick Ewing (Jamaica) shouldn't of been stars in Basketball. World Wrestling Entertainment - Random Topics
I think wrestling, just like some other programs (like Lost) is one of those where you have to watch a few weeks to know what is going on (It was like that for me at least when I got back into watching it with my girlfriend, who loves it). Yeah, the storylines have been subpar, but still, if you compare it to TNA, it still blows it away. But I still would like to see Vince try a little harder in putting out a good product. Not necessarly. It all depends on what went on that made the person a "former" memeber or president or such. On that very last part Pelirojo (Vader being too dumb to realize who Luke was), I have always mentally chalked that up to possibly, at least in the Star Wars universe, Skywalker being a common last name (like Smith or Jones here, or a Hernandez or Delgado in a hispanic speaking area), and therefore, coming across a Skywalker couldn't of crossed his mind at that time (not to mention that in the 3rd movie, the Emperor says to Anakin/Darth Vader that Padme died, so in his mind, that could of ment that his offspring died too. -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on September 4, 2011, 6:29 pm
