Let's compare... Cable TV. Before it, the "Free TV" that was around only consisted of a few channels of limited programming. Cable TV opens up all sorts of possibilities and to different sorts of programming not normally available on the networks. YouTube: Don't pay for anything, and pretty much view what you like... Then again, this is Nickelodeon we are talking about. Take something that has become super-popular, hijack it, and milk it. Sometimes, it's near instantaneous (see Ren & Stimpy), sometimes, it might take a few years (Rugrats). If they acted more like him, and less tying to shove their beliefs down our throats, people WILL be much more tolerant of homosexuality and such.
