Rocky - Movie Series
Call me crazy but the last of the series, Rocky Balboa, blew away the previous five. But I'd be willing to admit that my assessment likely has something to do with my initial expectations of it, which were basically zero. Suppose I could go back and watch the original Rocky, then reassess. Anyway, I love the "Reverse Boned" reason! -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on March 15, 2010, 6:49 pm

Cigarettes - Random Topics
Wow PYLrulz, that's a huge leap in a rather short period of time! I remember when I would moan about a pack reaching $2+, but that was over 15 years ago. My dad is 58 and currently pondering retirement. A part of his decision making process is that if he were to retire, he'd have a tougher time affording his nearly 3-pack/day habit! Dang, cigarettes really shouldn't impact one's opportunity to retire! -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on March 3, 2010, 3:04 pm

Huge timesaver, and seems a bit underrated as far as inventions are concerned. -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on March 2, 2010, 10:18 pm

Jennifer Love Hewitt - Celebrities
Holy moly, I saw her on Lopez Tonight recently, looking mighty tasty, talking about her "vajazzled" vajayjay and her 2010 resolution to embrace her booty. Whoa, MAMA!!!! -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on March 2, 2010, 9:55 pm

Cigarettes - Random Topics
I'm so glad I quit smoking when I did, because there's simply no way I could afford to do so now. $55/carton in my state. -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on March 2, 2010, 9:44 pm

White Castle Restaurant - Random Topics
It really wasn't that long ago when their Slyders were cheap, and they were the only fast-food option after the bars had closed. Nowadays there are numerous 24-hour options, most of which offer a double cheeseburger for just a few cents more than one lousy stinking 1/18th lb Slyder. -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on January 22, 2010, 12:33 am

Paris Hilton - Celebrities
C'mon folks, she's famous because she's a SOCIALITE! Pffffft...please pass the tartar sauce! -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on January 21, 2010, 11:41 pm

Marie Osmond - Celebrities
Even though what she was most famous for happened a generation ago, she still manages to stumble into momentary flashes of relevancy from time to time. In doing so, she tends to fade away before those BTF moments can occur. -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on January 21, 2010, 11:27 pm

Similarly speaking, 'Never Boned' would be an improbable voting option! -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on January 21, 2010, 11:11 pm

Dallas Cowboys - Random Topics
The franchise itself didn't bone, but their season sure did after they visited the MAUL of America! Aikman was obviously disconcerted as he attempted to provide the commentary. Better luck next season. -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on January 19, 2010, 7:03 pm

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition - TV Shows
I haven't seen this show very often, but probably the first thing I wondered was how these incredibly down-on-their-luck families could subsequently afford to heat and maintain a house which has now tripled in size. I've seen a couple of episodes where the family had its existing mortgage paid off and another one where the builders installed solar panels and energy-efficient appliances, but I don't know (nor do I care) if those instances are the norm or the exception. -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on December 31, 2009, 6:02 pm

Tattoos - Random Topics
The one time in my life I had more than a casual thought of getting a tat, I noticed one on the forearm of a senior citizen. All wrinkled, droopy and faded. Looked like a blob. Within a couple days of that, my sister had broken up with the guy who encouraged her to get a huge tiger tattooed to the side of her leg. She regrets getting that, but is comforted by the fact that it helped inspire me to remain ink-free. -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on December 30, 2009, 5:52 pm

Rude Customers - Random Topics
I'm thinking that whoever came up with the phrase "the customer is always right" has never worked in the service industry! I had toiled for many years in the restaurant business, and I'm going straight to hell for all of the things I had done to rude customer's food. -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on December 28, 2009, 6:35 pm

AOL - Random Topics
I was fine with AOL until I decided I no longer wanted to pay $24/month for their dial-up. WOW, canceling AOL was an arduous process! I think of AOL as the 'roach motel' of ISPs; customers check in, but they can't check out! -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on December 24, 2009, 5:26 pm

Christmas - Random Topics
The day will come when the retail industry transitions from back-to-school straight to Christmas. The day after Labor Day may become Black Tuesday. Doorbusters this, doorbusters that...I've HAD IT with DOORBUSTERS! -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on December 24, 2009, 12:32 am

Chuck E. Cheese's - Random Topics
I used to work there. Even though I quit over a dozen years ago, I still have occasional nightmares of that dead-end craphole. -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on December 24, 2009, 12:14 am

Y2K Bug, The - Random Topics
The timer record function on my VCR stopped working once we entered the year 2000. To my knowledge, that's the BIGGEST failure attributable to the Y2K bug. -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on December 24, 2009, 12:05 am

Led Zeppelin - Music Groups
Wh-wh-wh-wh-whoa-whoa-WHOA! As I'm reading this now, out of 176 votes, 69% say Led Zeppelin...Led f-ing Zeppelin...sucked from the start? WTF?!! Really? REALLY?!! I'm totally flabbergasted! I implore you haters to have the guts to post a comment. Not so I can rip you for your ignorance, but just so I can become educated. There must be some reason why 69% think they sucked from day 1, but right now I absolutely do not get it. -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on December 16, 2009, 8:29 pm

Tiger Woods - Celebrities
I'm so glad Tiger's bubble has burst (or rather, his fish has been boned) because nobody is THAT pristine! Turns out he actually does not live, breathe, sweat, bleed, and dream golf 110% of the time. He literally CAN roll out of bed (with some skank) after a night on the town and go shoot a 69 (insert rimshot)! He obviously has talent, so he should be able to resurrect his career. At least he no longer has an unattainable image to live up to. -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on December 10, 2009, 3:32 pm

Man Show, The - TV Shows
I found this show to be a perfect, mindless escape from reality. Even though The Juggy Girls were scantily clad, I never felt they were demeaned. They were an integral and fun part of the show, rather than being overly exploited. Good clean fun overall, and the raucous crowd really added something to it. Carolla and Kimmel were a fabulous pairing on this show. Their departure left an impossible void to fill; I don't think even Cheech & Chong could've followed in those footsteps. It was fun while it lasted! -- Submitted By: (Nature_Boy) on December 9, 2009, 8:42 pm
