Christmas - Random Topics
Howdy y'all! Yet again, it appears that good old Christmas can't wait until after Halloween to start showing up in stores and on TV. What's the over/under for how many years it'll be until the Christmas season starts up immediately after the previous Christmas is over? -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on December 12, 2013, 10:34 pm

Christmas - Random Topics
Time for me to make my yearly visit to this site again. Aaaaaaand yes indeed, it is mid-November and there are Christmas commercials for RadioShack and (I think) Target starting to run. The Creep lives on! -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on November 14, 2012, 5:11 am

Christmas - Random Topics
It's interesting; I don't think the "Christmas creep" has been as bad this year as it's been in recent years. Sure, there were a few Wal-Mart commercials popping up after Halloween, but not as frequently as they have been in recent memory. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on December 21, 2011, 6:16 pm

Naked Gun, The - Movie Series
RIP Leslie Nielsen. Your comic genius will Shirley be missed on Earth. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on November 29, 2010, 4:46 pm

Nickelodeon - TV Shows
BigAl, I think Cartoon Network currently holds that title. Nickelodeon might be pretty bad, but I'd rather watch SpongeBob and Fairly OddParents over Adventure Time and The Regular Show. As for those "tween" shows like iCarly and Victorious, however....no, thank you. (On that note, does it appear to anyone else that Dan Schneider is to Nickelodeon what Seth MacFarlane is to Fox? Think about it.) That being said, the network needs improvement. I only really watch the channel for Nick at Nite anyway. It's better than anything else on the network. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on November 10, 2010, 6:05 pm

National Basketball Association (NBA) - Random Topics
Exactly, kingbk. There is absolutely no parity in this league, and the same few teams are really the only ones that compete for titles anyway. I don't even understand why Milwaukee, Indiana, Golden State, New Jersey, and Minnesota still have franchises. There's no sense in playing a game you realistically have no shot at winning. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 26, 2010, 7:29 pm

Sorry, I meant "apply". BTF needs an "Edit Comment" option, LOL. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 25, 2010, 6:32 pm

Bill Maher - Celebrities
So I heard this clown talking about the Christian "shitkickers" and whatnot protesting the legalization of pot. I understand that you may not agree with the viewpoints of a certain group of people, but it just isn't civil to allpy a hateful term to these people, especially if it's a term that can overwhelmingly be applied to yourself. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 25, 2010, 6:15 pm

Dallas Cowboys - Random Topics
The Cowboys are playing terribly right now because Wade Phillips doesn't instill discipline in his players, therefore they make stupid, easily avoidable mistakes. Maybe when Jerry ships him out for a better coach they can start winning games again! -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 19, 2010, 8:12 pm

Big Time Rush - TV Shows
Really, did Nickelodeon not learn from the epic failure that was the Naked Brothers Band that making poorly-directed TV shows about overrated boy bands does not make for high-quality programming? I suppose if there's anything to be said in BTR's defense, it's that they're a good deal less annoying than that Justin Bieber clone Nat Wolff and his annoying little brother. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 19, 2010, 8:06 pm

The best in the business. Never boned. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 18, 2010, 8:22 pm

Bowl Championship Series (BCS) - Random Topics
Hopefully the Biased Chump-ionship Series falls soon. Oregon deserves to be #1 right now in my opinion, but since the BCS has its head so far up Oklahoma's ass, they get the nod for the top spot. I can't wait for Mizzou to stomp OU so that we can all see what kind of a joke this system is. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 18, 2010, 8:03 pm

Homework - Random Topics
My sentiments exactly, DolFan. Assigning homework over the weekend is as far as it should go in my opinion, and even I think that's still a tad to much. Assigning homework over Christmas break, however........NO. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 18, 2010, 7:59 pm

Pup Named Sccoby-Doo, A - TV Shows
Oh yeah, I remember that Red Herring guy. Overall, this show wasn't all that bad. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 17, 2010, 12:55 pm

What? So an ass becomes a police officer and fights crime? What kind of crazy stoner thought this one up? -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 17, 2010, 12:53 pm

2 Stupid Dogs - TV Shows
I liked the episode where they go around the world to look for a bone that was on the smaller dog's head the entire time. Never boned. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 17, 2010, 11:26 am

Osama bin Laden - Celebrities
A tad off topic here, but look at what it says in the topic information: "Find Osama bin Laden on eBay." LOL! Back ON topic, Osama bin Laden is the scum of this earth and deserves to die. Period. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 15, 2010, 3:54 pm

UT-Austin, home to one of the best athletic programs in the country along with a excellent academic system, is here. Never boned. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 15, 2010, 3:11 pm

NORAD Tracks Santa - Websites
This is a fun tradition on Christmas Eve. It's been years since I found out the truth about Santa, but I still go to this site every year for the nostalgia. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 15, 2010, 3:08 pm

And that, BigAl, is exactly why my stomach turns over whenever I see these people walking around. It's like they're being rewarded for doing nothing, which really grinds my gears. -- Submitted By: (ScottyB) on October 15, 2010, 2:58 pm
