Dynasty - TV Shows
I voted Same Character Different Actor on Fallon Colby because, to be honest, IMO, Joan Collins was right on the money about Pamela Sue Martin quitting out of the role of Fallon Colby after four seasons. Incredibly dumb! -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on November 9, 2017, 5:10 am

Soap - TV Shows
Boned day one! I purchased the Mill Creek DVD release of the lot of it, and when I saw one or two episodes, I instantly regretted it. -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on November 24, 2016, 3:30 am

Diff'rent Strokes - TV Shows
The "Very Special Episodes" are the very reason why this 1978-86 NBC/ABC "comedy" has been permanently ineligible for my DVD collection (as far as the releases have gotten). -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on November 22, 2016, 2:24 pm

Webster - TV Shows
I had gotten the first season on DVD, and I could hardly get through the first disc. It was entirely too preachy, and the seeming sheer number of "very special episodes" turned me off. -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on November 22, 2016, 2:21 pm

Sale of the Century - TV Shows
I just saw what GSN showed of the syndicated $ale, and I think it's great to see the actual prize shopping for the first time in a long time. Not only that, but these other great things: they left in the (admittedly defunct) ticket and contestant plugs, and allowed Jay Stewart to get his price disclaimer and signoff in. -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on December 1, 2013, 10:05 am

Designing Women - TV Shows
I purchased the #1 DVD release yesterday to try DW out, and while it has had a few laughs, DW is, on the whole, not that funny. What a waste of $15! It's going away whenever I have the chance. -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on October 25, 2013, 11:56 am

TV's Bloopers & Practical Jokes - TV Shows
Pretty much the only "reality" show I ever truly enjoyed. I'd kill for it on DVD. -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on May 24, 2012, 5:36 am

National Broadcasting Company (NBC) - Random Topics
The only way, IMHO, that NBC will bone back is if they go back to that Proud N w/11-feathered peacock. That was, I think, the best logo that they ever had. -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on April 29, 2012, 4:39 am

Marcus Welby, M.D. - TV Shows
I definitely agree with the first comment! I purchased Shout! Factory's first release of this series from Amazon, and I'm already on Disc 6, with 7 outings to go. It's just that good. This considering that I wasn't even born when it was originally on ABC. -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on May 16, 2010, 3:18 pm

Bullseye - TV Shows
I liked what I saw (which isn't much) of the civilian edition of this game show; the "Celebrity" version was okay, but the celebrities slowed the game up so much that on a lot of episodes, there was no bonus game. That hurt the show quite a lot. -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on May 3, 2010, 3:29 am

Today - TV Shows
What I do not like about the current "Today" show, for one thing, is the fact that its studio has windows behind the anchors, and the anchor desk is white, with the "Today" title across it. The design I most have fond memories of is when Bryant and Jane and Willard sat at a desk in the shape of "Today"'s sunburst, and that desk had flowers in front of it, and the "Today" title was stacked up in columns amid bas-relief blue squares. They updated it later in '82, but IIRC, the basic concept still existed. -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on January 25, 2010, 12:50 pm

Tic Tac Dough - TV Shows
When GSN brought "TTD" (the Martindale version, which I still esteem as the best) back in early '08 (I think it was; I may be incorrect), I was excited that they did so. I didn't see every episode that they showed, but I did see a lot of them. Then, at the end of Thom McKee's run (just prior to Erik Kraepelien playing his first game as champion), they took it off again. It hasn't been back since. Shame on GSN for that! -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on August 8, 2009, 5:01 am

Hawaii Five-O - TV Shows
Through 6 seasons on DVD, it still holds its own. I'm planning on eventually purchasing #7. -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on July 30, 2009, 8:22 am

Jeopardy! - TV Shows
When "Jeopardy!" boned it? Two words: Ken. Jennings. I'd take Thom McKee over him any day. -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on July 30, 2009, 8:15 am

Two and a Half Men - TV Shows
"2 1/2" boned right off the top. It was never funny. Even "Mary Tyler Moore" cut more ice with me. -- Submitted By: (bmasters1981) on July 30, 2009, 7:47 am
