Nickelodeon - Random Topics
BTF around the early-to-mid 2000's... About 2002-2006 was the slow decline. NICKELODEON- Started to decline when most of the old Nicktoon's and Live Action shows began to end, Doug, Rugrats (pre-Dil of course), Ren and Stimpy, Rocko, Hey Arnold, Invader Zim, Angry Beavers, Pete and Pete, Clarissa, Hey Dude, and so on... now I wouldn't have had a problem if these shows were replaced with equally GOOD shows, but they weren't. Instead, we got stuck with the likes of unsightly garbage like The Amanda show, All Growed Up, Butt Ugly Martians, Yakity Yak, and now more recently Mr. Meaty, The Mighty Bee, 6Teen (which is currently clogging up Cartoon Network's airspace, I belive)My Dad the Rock Star, and loads more. These shows don't have the humor or magic that the older shows had. They are just potty humor, butt jokes, repetitive jokes, loud, ear-piercing voices/screaming, and stupidity. I have enjoyed Pre-movie SpongeBob, FOP (before it got lame), Avatar, Drake and josh, Teenage Robot though. But basically this channel is nothing but Teeny-bopper teen/tween shows, about 7 other shows (sorry Nick, I remember when you showed 17 shows a day, and never showed the same show twice... Unless it was a marathon) and SpongeBob (which is a good show; But, again, who on God's green earth wants to watch this show 50 times a day? I sure don't(see above). NICK JR- I don't really have a comment, I dislike the shows that are aired on it now, but the block is for Preschoolers. NICK AT NIGHT- Boned recently. Most of these shows are good, but the block is losing it's variety, Only a handful of shows are shown now. At least tell them to cancel the god-awful "Glenn Martin, D.D.S." god that show is trashy and disgusting. NICKTOONS- I thought of this as the Nick equivelent of Boomerang. But it boned when they removed all the old Nick shows and replaced them with the crap shown on Nickelodeon now, or gave them 3 A.M. (death) slots... (Ren and Stimpy). NOGGIN/THE-N/TEENICK- This channel was great in the beginning. Showings of Pete and Pete, Hey Dude, Bill Nye, Ghostwriter... Alas, it just became Nick Jr... Jr. The N/Teenick recently spun off... The channel is good, That 70's show, FPOBA and the other shows were a nice touch, but Degrassi is overplayed (and I really never cared for the show, myself). -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on November 20, 2009, 1:18 pm

Sesame Street - TV Shows
1. When Elmo took over. Yeah, he was cute and cuddly at first, but now he has taken over the enitre show. The other Muppets have either been killed off or have been pushed to 2nd place. 2. When the show stopped showing skits randomly, and now it just shows segments. -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on November 18, 2009, 2:27 pm

History (History Channel) - Random Topics
I don't think it has yet, but it's trying. My main problem is that the shows aren't bad, but they don't belong. Monsterquest, Ice Road Truckers and the like are actually pretty good, but they feel more like Discovery/Science channel shows. -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on September 12, 2009, 12:35 am

4Kids Entertainment - Random Topics
Probably one of the crappiest dubbing companies in existence. If they don't butcher these Animes, by editing all the violence, and "kiddie-fying" them, They Americanize them... (Seriously, calling a Rice Ball a doughnut?) They butchered for instance One Piece and several other Animes. Just makes me wanna read subtitles instead. -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on September 12, 2009, 12:24 am

Wallace and Gromit - Movie Series
Nope, never boned. Brilliant cartoon, good animation, good characters, good everything. Hope it lasts a long time. -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on July 25, 2009, 10:15 am

Mystery Science Theater 3000 - TV Shows
Let me start by saying this was probably one of the funniest TV shows Ive ever seen. The riffing and commentary made me laugh out loud, not many shows have done that to me. Anyway, it tried to Bone when Joel left, it wasn't the same, but Mike Nelson was pretty hilarious himself. Joel and Mike both had their moments in my book, but the show Boned for good when Dr. Forrester left, and was replaced by his Mother, and Tv's Frank was replaced by the Ape men and the alien. The story ark didn't work, making the host segments suffer. The riffing in the theater segments never boned, though. But by the later part of the show, that was all I watched. -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on July 25, 2009, 10:12 am

Emperor's New Groove, The - Movie Series
The Emperor's New Groove was hilarious by being random and silly, and it appealed to everyone. Kronk's New Groove just felt like another "kiddie movie". -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on July 25, 2009, 9:59 am

All That - TV Shows
IMO it started getting bad around the early 2000's. Most of the original cast had left, but my main problem was that the show itself started getting obnoxious, juvenile, boring and not funny. -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on July 25, 2009, 9:55 am

Mister Rogers' Neighborhood - TV Shows
Never boned then, if it was still going today, it never would. Fred Rogers never talked down to kids, treated kids like anyone else, and took his time. Taught everything from Kindness and manners, to Tieing shoes and how crayons and milk are made. The neighborhood of make believe was also nice. (Why all the hate with Lady Elaine? I loved her as a kid). -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on July 25, 2009, 9:49 am

Pokemon - TV Shows
God, the Anime of this series stunk. The first and second seasons were okay (But they got butchered here in the U.S. by that damn 4Kids (one of the worst dubbing companies in existence), and, of course, I believe this show put them on the map)The plots weren't bad, but I couldn't stand Ash. (The only badges he won fair where, what, The Volcano, Thunder, and Soul Badges?) Then he just turns around and gets rid of all his good Pokemon (Think about it, by now he woulda had a team consisting of Primeape, Haunter(probably a Gengar), Lapras, Pidegot, Butterfree, and Larvitar/Pupitar(probably a Tyranitar) but no, he got rid of em all for that ****** rat. And TR was annoying as hell... Hey, Ash, just have 'em locked up. Then with the 'Johto Journeys' saga it got predictable and boring, with Ash and co. getting more grating, I just stopped watching. Gary was pretty good though, (Yeah, he was complete ***, but he had a nice team, knew what he was doing, and was laid back) just tell him to get rid of those annoying cheerleaders. -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on July 25, 2009, 9:42 am

Pokemon - Random Topics
With Red, Blue and Yellow the game was pretty good. Yes, the Sound F/X and Graphics were bad, but it was still a fun game. The designs of the Pokemon were pretty good, (For every Slowpoke ya had a Ninetails, so it was balanced out), the plot was original, and the dialogue was good. With Gold/Silver/Crystal, there weren't too many Pokemon. And the addition of Johto balanced out the newer Pokemon (So you didn't have 900 Pokemon in just 1 region). Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald had better graphics, and it was basically the same, But my complaint was that there were too many Pokemon by now, and I felt the Legendary Pokemon had worn out their welcome. (There were like 20 by now), and... They had about 400 Pokemon confined to just one region. Fire Red and Leaf Green were pretty good though, you know, for the nostalgia. Diamond/Pearl/Platinum I felt the same, (Now there's 500 of them) but the games were still fun, and they had improved even more (The 3-D animations in D/P/PT) Heartgold and Soulsilver look good (The upcoming G/S remakes). Oh well, Pokemon is a business, I guess. Not to mention one of Nintendo's biggest games, it would be a bad move it end it now (Not that they should). -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on July 25, 2009, 9:12 am

Indiana Jones - Movie Series
Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom and The Last Crusade were all great movies. The "Young Indiana Jones" series was also good, I didn't think Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was the god-awful abomination everybody made it out to be, but it wasn't as good as the first 3 films, and it wasn't anything to write home about. -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on July 25, 2009, 8:39 am

Ren and Stimpy - TV Shows
The first and second seasons of Ren and Stimpy had some lovely animation, music (mostly stock music from APM, KPM and Capitol Records) and had an almost Tex Avery, Bob Clampett or Chuck Jones feel to them. There was the occasional bathroom joke, but the interesting plots, music and animation made up for it. But, when the Third season came around, when John Kricfalusi (the creator) left, it wasn't as good. It still had the same feel of the first 2 seasons, and had several good episodes I can remember, but the animation got plainer and flatter, it relied more on jokes about butts and boogers, but it just wasn't the same. The Fourth and Fifth seasons just ended up being an endless string of toilets, blood and guts, vomit, and just downright nastiness. (They had the some good jokes, 50's references, political jokes, and the like in the final seasons, but It got so nasty and juvenile, just wasn't worth it anymore). The adult party episodes were just nasty. The animation took a turn for the worse (R&S didn't even resemble themselves), the amount of gross out jokes, and sexual humor made it get to the point were it was downright vulgar. God knows what John K. was thinking when he made these 10 years later. -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on July 6, 2009, 2:09 am

Johnny Bravo - TV Shows
I never really thought it did, but I think it tried a couple times. the first season had a lot of nice pop culture references, a lot of laugh-out-loud moments, (The Scooby-Doo crossover had me in stitches), and was overall good. The second and third seasons had several changes, Pops and Karl(I personally didn't mind them), A change in the animation (I never got used to the new look of Suzy and other things), Johnny got dumber, and so on, the show kept the zaniness though. The fourth and final season I think tried to go back to the old style of the first season, and was mostly good. -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on July 6, 2009, 1:54 am

Schnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show, The - TV Shows
Nice animation, but a terrible "Ren and Stimpy" ripoff. I'm gonna say Day one. -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on June 29, 2009, 6:54 pm

Ed, Edd N Eddy - TV Shows
Wasn't the best Cartoon Network show, but it was pretty good. I liked the randomness and insanity of it. -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on June 29, 2009, 6:51 pm

Butt-Ugly Martians - TV Shows
This was probably one of the crappiest cartoons that ever aired on Nickelodeon, possibly television. -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on June 29, 2009, 6:41 pm

Brave Little Toaster, The - Movie Series
The first Brave Little Toaster movie was funny, sad, full of messages that weren't shoved down kids throats, had some stuff for adults as well, and a great movie that made you think. The Second movie "The Brave Little Toaster To The Rescue" wasn't as good, but it was still memorable and had kind of the same feel the first film did. "The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars" was not funny, boring, and made no sense... How does a Ceiling Fan float a Baby, Toaster, Blanket, Vacuum, Radio to another planet... and how do they survive the Vacuum of space? (The Baby at least) (But then again, all 3 of the movies were about intelligent, living, talking, walking appliances). -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on June 29, 2009, 6:35 pm

MTV: Music Television - Random Topics
Ive tried watching this channel for a while now. All Ive found so far are a bunch of boring, corny, (A lot of them Downright horrible) Reality shows. Ive heard that "back in the day" there once was a time that they played nothing but music videos, Artist interviews, and the sort, nonstop, for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Unfortunately, I was born in the early 1990's, so I guess I "missed out". -- Submitted By: (Johnny_T._Bird) on June 29, 2009, 2:27 pm
