http://archives.tcj.com/3_online/n_image1.html READ THE SORDID HISTORY OF IMAGE Travoltron- you took the words right out of my mouth- I bought into the hype as a teenager, and looking back, yeah it blows. There are non corporate comics that rock out, they just dont have the hype of the old Jim Lee and McFarlane Years. What's really amazing is that Liefeld commanded, and still does to a degree, attention from the comics industry. His image and non image work sucks that bad. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on August 31, 2011, 6:42 pm
Anthrax - Music Groups
Well they got Joey Belladonna back, and the new album is coming out in about a month- based on the two tracks I've heard, they are officially not going to bone- if you like Anthrax "Worship Music" sounds awesome. Check it out. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on August 17, 2011, 9:48 pm

Really upset they are closing down the fan page for posting (forums) on the HM website- this magazine has really gone down hill, and Kevin Eastman is to blame. Welcome all fans of HM who are coming here! -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on July 9, 2011, 12:44 am

Friends - TV Shows
Ironically I just saw a re-run of Friends on vacation which was their gay marriage episode - Ross's ex wife and GF want to get married. Not only had I forgotten how poorly written this show as in general (and wondered how it got so popular in the first place) but it was a very political pro gay marriage show. Gay marriage aside, the show was just really bad, poorly written and frankly not funny, was it as bad in the 90's? Hard to say, but it certainly hasnt aged well. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on June 5, 2011, 12:46 pm

Wikipedia - Websites
Soggy- SheffieldSteel was the inept administratior over there that we bashed fairly hard at wikipedia. I'm sure he is up bright an early looking for citations on the color of woody woodpecker's hair in the last episode of the series or some other important act of deletionism. Who is Sheffield Steel in real life? Anyone know? -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on May 29, 2011, 6:02 am
Wikipedia - Websites
Soggy- as one of the 12 or so BTF users that got swept up in the Wikipedia controversy, yes there is some very bad blood between that site and this site. A very simple link on the JTS wiki page to our page as the self annointed spiritual successor to that site was up for over a year, and then removed, and was put back, and removed etc. several times. Then they claimed BTF wasnt notable, despite out lengthy and documented tack record of mentions (see the FRIENDS OF BTF link). I dont recall the admins name on Wikipedia, but these are not normal people, and you cannot communicate with them on any level that normal humans do- it's all about wiki speak and hiding on their wiki pages. Of course once they shit on BTF, and said we as the BTF nation were not notable, we trashed the admin from their site personally here, knowing that in his or her computer geek wiki lifestyle would read it. Also, there is a strong feeling that the long tendrils of TV guide dont want us on another corportate partner knocking them (wikipedia and TV guide connection as corporate whores hand in hand- sort of like the job placement sites raping jobvent.com- see that page for more details on it's boniong demise) there are tons of websites with links on wiki that have no "documentaton" on them- why?. Also the arguments from the wiki admins were all losing propostions, they won because they "said so" not on any merit of their arguments or interpretations of rules. Ultimately, they failed, the ban on wiki only added to the outlaw independent "cred" and appeal of this website to it's core users. Hope that helps. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on May 29, 2011, 6:00 am
Howard Stern - Celebrities
The show since 2010 has been a shell of the 4 prior years on Satellite Radio. No Artie, then refusing to replace Artie, suing sirius and then adding more commercials, ending at 10am sharp, 3 day work weeks, more vacations. Sad, and a new era of boning for the show. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on May 29, 2011, 5:50 am

There are alot of bands in rock that have boned (Metallica) however, there is always a new rock band that keeps the genre going. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on May 29, 2011, 5:48 am

You are hearing crickets because there is no answer to your question. There isnt a form to fill out for "why" you are submitting a topic to BTF. Keep on waiting.... -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on May 29, 2011, 5:46 am
Ozzy Osbourne - Music Groups
Terror-
Ozzy's new album in 2010, "Scream" was probably his best effort since "No More Tears" in 1991- so I have to disagree with your comment on lack of new singing. It might actually be about the third "unboning" in his career- "Blizzard of Ozz"- 1981, and "No More Tears"- 1991 being the other musical revitalizations in the catalogue. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on May 19, 2011, 3:50 am

Just saw the comment on Left Behind. Part of me wants to watch this for the pure over the top insanity of these religious propaganda movie pieces. What happens to the Jews and Catholics by the way? Do they all die? -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on May 18, 2011, 7:56 am
Metallica - Music Groups
Soggy- that's the funny thing, Metal Fans are not their audience, so why force themselves onto the only all metal satellite station for 2 weeks almost 24 hours a day. Out of Touch businessmen is more to the point, and thanks for saying Metallica isnt Metal, because frankly, they are not. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on May 17, 2011, 1:45 pm
Metallica - Music Groups
My unabashed hate for the former metal band known as Metallica is well known, and to continue to beat the fact that they are not metal, nor have they made a metal record since 1988 is fact, and they boned in 1991 is a cornerstone of selling out, and fish boning (sorry gang, Death Magnetic- corporate sanitized metal - is not unboning anything from these fakes) is just cruelty to fish at this point. HOWEVER- something new and fascinating to hate these guys just happened inside the metal community (sort of like the Napster fiasco to the general public) on Satellite Radio there is a 24/7 METAL channel- sort of the town square of the metal community (sort of like Headbangers ball used to be in the 90's) and they just announced "BIG FOUR RADIO" - sponsored by Metallica- to promote the Anthrax Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer show in Indio California in May 2011. The concept of the Big Four is the big four thrash metal bands of the 80's- so gues what happens- they play about 98% METALLICA while having the unabashed egocentric ballscalling it Big FOUR radio, while playing almost none of the other three- Only the ego obsessed sellouts of Metallica would make a group event called BIG FOUR RADIO and then completely hog almost all of the attention and airtime for themselves. Now for the most part they never play Metallica on this station, and the fans of actual metal hate Metallica these days. The facebook pages for Sirius, XM and the respective channel page were bombarded with about (you guessed it) 98% hate (similar to percentage of Metallica forced on the audience) to go along with the force feeding of metallica's warblings and interviews 24/7 FOR TWO WEEKS!! It warmed my heart to get a nice embarrassing incident from these clowns, and to see the unabashed hate from the community of fans they sold out on so long ago, and with their tone deaf ability to alienate and piss off their old audience, I am sure they felt it was a big success. Another repeat Fish Boning from ALternica, I mean...metallica. I cannot wait to see how they prove me right again soon! -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on May 17, 2011, 5:23 am

Gangland - TV Shows
Im watching season 6 of this show on dvd right now, I'm a fan, and it's still a good ride. I dont like how they changed some of the graphics and music on the show, and I understand seeason 7 is the final season of the show, I have no idea why, this show was cheap to produce and infinitely interesting. And Robert, I disagree, there is quite a bit of history on the show, albeit criminal history. But I have managed to learn alot of interesting facts and true life stories from watching this show. I was also surprised about some of the big time gangs that didnt make it to the show- Black Guerilla Family comes to mind. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on May 11, 2011, 4:31 am
Star Trek - Movie Series
Im with Soggy, I never got the love for ST 4- it just seemed like a really bad film to me. Too much crappy 80's comedy to take the film at any level besides schlock, and yet it is held up as a GOOD film, while Search for Spock gets panned- never understood that. -- Submitted By: (Chubby Rain) on May 8, 2011, 9:39 pm
