Neon Genesis Evangelion - TV Shows
Was it just me or did anyone else want to tear their TV apart if they ahd to sit through another annoying "Shinji" diatribe about wanting to die and not do anything, or another of Hideki Anno's endless picture montages. WE LIKE THE ACTION SEQUENCES AND COOL MECHA DESIGN. Enough of the endless philosphy THAT MAKES NO SENSE. This and Matrix 3 are tied for some of the worst writing of all tiem, the action and mecha design are great, just fast forward to them for something really special. In "END OF EVANGELION" I think the fans are represnted by the special forces that have come to kill NERV's people and they ALMOST kill Shinji until he is saved and then just sits there and whines while his friends die. I feel that BTF is now superior after 4 months than "Jump the Shark" ever was. More categories, more options, and a fired up user base. This site has gotten more populare each month it has been online since 3/09. Jump the Shark is an embarrassment, and so Is Mr. Hein at this point , not for selling the site ( hey wouldnt millions make any of sell out?) but for not slamming TV Guide on the most popular radio show on the planet (HOWARD STERN) where he is on the show EVERY DAY!!! FLCL? Gantz the Anime ended due to budget and contrct, the last storyline was made up for the anime (after the Buddha Statue Mission) the Manga is STILL GOING ON IN JAPAN! Dark Horse Comics is serializing the Printed Manga, so I will see what actually happened after the Buddha Statue Mission. Gangland - TV Shows
I really dig this show, and I recently saw the "Mongols MC" epsisode which was really cool. However these guys talk alot of trash and are ery open about their semi criminal enterprise when it was filmed around 2005-2006. So I wondered what ever happened to those guys from the show- http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2009/07/mongols-exleader-pleads-guilty-to-racketeering-faces-20-years.html and I see the guy that talked the most trash about how he was untouchable offered a plea deal and surrenedered the gang copyrighted logo to the feds!! News to criminals, I love to watch you on TV, but you cannot ruin the gang for being on a show. Now did the show do them in? Maybe maybe not, but the tell you way too much information for a History channel show, this cannot help these gangs. So true I saw a FF epsiode recently and it was so nutty where the people were giving answers that made no sense like "name a popular vegeetable to serve at dinner" and the answer was something obscure like "eggplant" and everyone cheered to the big score of "zero". #1 answer was something obvious like corn or beans.
