I'm glad someone brought up this topic again, because it literally can't be said enough how much of a douchebag Lars Ulrich is. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on December 6, 2010, 12:17 am

Islam - Random Topics
BTF when the people in charge decided that all non Muslims must either convert or die, and when I found out that they literally think making a cartoon of Muslims is punishable by death, and Muslim women have no rights whatsoever, and then people started kowtowing to them precisely BECAUSE they were so violent, and scared all the libbies in America into submission--while they bash CHRISTIANS for being violent because maybe one guy every couple of years decides to bomb and abortion clinic. In short, it seems to me that out of all the world's religions, Islam is the big bully who nobody wants to stand up to. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on December 6, 2010, 12:15 am

American South, The - Random Topics
It's perfectly fine to bash all the Americans who voted for Obama as far as I'm concerned >:-D Besides, you guys don't know what I have to put up with 24/7 from a local news standpoint. At this point I literally cannot imagine a worse place in America to live than Memphis. DC *might* be as bad. Maybe. BTW most of the south vote Republican so they're okay by me :-D The one place in Tennessee to vote Democrat? Memphis of course. Figures. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on December 6, 2010, 12:08 am

George Lucas - Celebrities
Definitely BTF with the second Star Wars trilogy. It's bad enough he waited 15 years after the first one but he didn't even TRY to entertain fans of the original. It was all just a blatant cash grab and pandering to the tweens and younger kids, who quite honestly have been pandered to enough. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on December 6, 2010, 12:05 am

Travoltron, if true then those are some smart aliens. I always say the best proof of intelligent life on other planets is that they don't publicly make themselves known here. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on December 6, 2010, 12:01 am

American South, The - Random Topics
Pelirojo, to be honest Beale Street is just a dirty filthy money pit where criminals hang out because they know that's where all the tourists go. And you don't even know the half of it. I could go on and on but let's just say Memphis has so many problems there's an entire group of people whose mission in life is to bash Memphis bashers--without doing anything to solve the problems of course. Which is not to say the entire south is like that. From what I've seen people everywhere in America are equally as dumb, rude and uncivilized. But the south lost the Civil War so they get the bad rep, go figure. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on December 3, 2010, 11:33 pm

Jefferson Starship - Music Groups
I don't wanna lose your love, toniiight... That's the only Outfield song I even remember, and it was STILL better than anything Jefferson "Starship" put out in the 80s. Or since then for that matter. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on November 30, 2010, 4:27 pm

Amy Winehouse - Music Groups
Her big talent is doing lots of drugs and yet getting away with it, apparently. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on November 29, 2010, 6:20 pm

American Idol - TV Shows
It was obvious from Day One that anybody who actually rocked need not apply. Vapid pop balladeers only. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on November 28, 2010, 11:43 pm

Amy Winehouse - Music Groups
SAME HERE LRBLOOM!!! So far I'm really buying what you're selling. Yet another so-called singer or actress who people insist has talent but is known for everything EXCEPT it. Can't all these people just be rounded up and sent to an island somewhere? -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on November 28, 2010, 11:40 pm

That '80s Show - TV Shows
Stephanie, I'm sorry to say I've gotta disagree with you this time. 80s nostalgia kicked in right when the 2000s started. Was it right to suddenly hear almost every song from '89 again everywhere just 11 years later? NO!!! But right or wrong it was rampant, and for a show centered around 80s nostalgia to flop as badly as this one did at a time like that is nothing short of astounding. IMO it's actually way past time for 90s nostalgia to start kicking in, but since the Baby Boomers weren't young in the 90s and most 90s media would remind us all just how lame and corporate-controlled the entertainment industry has really become today I'm guessing the Powers That Be will hold off as long as possible and maybe even skip it altogether. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on November 28, 2010, 11:33 pm

Eddie Murphy - Celebrities
When you think about it, few celebs have fallen so far so fast without at least one comeback. It's almost tragic to see him go from one of the coolest people on the planet in the 80s to this sad parody ridiculed by all. IMO the true boning of Eddie Murphy occurred when he did a video with Michael Jackson. Seriously, look it up. A more cringeworthy moment you'll never see. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on November 28, 2010, 11:26 pm

Woodstock - Random Topics
Wow, I'd forgotten I even made a comment on this until lrbloom brought it up again. Thanks! :-) As far as me having to defend my earlier point, Chubby Rain pretty much said it all. I just want to add that 99% of the so-called "hippies" were really just conformist sheep who--then and now--only believed what was "in" at the time and never actually stood for any of it, as evidenced by them later becoming the same greedy elitists they claimed to despise and actually forming our current society where conformity is more pervasive than ever! Which makes the original Woodstock and the reasons behind it a complete sham. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on November 28, 2010, 11:20 pm

Lady Gaga - Music Groups
Who cares if she has talent? That's not why she's famous and nobody knows it better than Lady Gaga herself, hence the over the top looks thing. The truth is, people would worship her even if she literally couldn't carry a tune. The music industry hasn't been about "talent" in at least a decade. Me, I see a walking freak show trying way too hard to be "exhibitionist" and turn my attention elsewhere. I've never heard one of her songs and I suspect my IQ is higher because of it. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on November 28, 2010, 11:12 pm

Private school - Random Topics
Better than public schools I suppose although American public schools are now worse than those of any other remotely developed nation on the planet so that's not saying much. Growing up, there was a private school in my town that wouldn't admit any blacks and somehow got away with it, at least back then. True story. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on November 18, 2010, 5:38 pm

Dancing With the Stars - TV Shows
Kingbk, I actually broke up with my live in GF because she insisted on watching this show, among others. Stacy Keibler was the ONLY good thing to come out of this garbage, period. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on November 18, 2010, 5:34 pm

I heard that Kim McQuilken, one of the worst NFL QBs ever, is executive VP of Cartoon Network. That would explain a lot. http://deadspin.com/5690560/the-bottom-100-the-worst-players-in-nfl-history-part-2?skyline=true&s=i -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on November 18, 2010, 5:31 pm
