The reason Cody disappeared for a while is because Sasha Mitchell in real life was slapping his wife around. Yup, he was one of *those* guys. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 17, 2011, 11:54 pm

Donald Trump - Celebrities
And this page now has an ad for Trump's presidential campaign on the side. First Taylor Swift, now this. How do you guys do that? I'm almost afraid to visit the Rebecca Black page again... BTW nobody--and I mean NOBODY--gives a better rendition of "you're fired" than Vince McMahon. At least, he used to when I watched pro wrestling. Personally I stopped paying attention to Trump years ago. I do know where one of his residences is though. I don't know if just anybody can drive through that neighborhood now but back in the day it used to be no problem. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 17, 2011, 11:46 pm

Thanksgiving - Random Topics
Meh. Thanksgiving USED to be about families getting together in peace and harmony like, 40 years ago. But with the (intentional) destruction of the family unit by society it's turned into an obligatory squaqbble-fest where you see your drunken uncle Fred and wacked out aunt Rita and now divorced parents and their sullen teen children once a year and everybody fights over something or other while eating a store bought butterball since men won't cook a full bird and women now think it's "exploitation" for them to do it. Just an annual convention of utter dysfunctionality. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 17, 2011, 7:19 pm

Justin Bieber - Celebrities
My "bloody problem" with him is the fact he's constantly shoved down everyone's throats as this iconic figure, this mega star that somehow everybody should worship. If his audience is prepubescent girls then why should I be forced to care about him at all? I shouldn't even know who he is, right? And don't blame "the paparazzi" either, people like Bieber know full well what they're getting into and WANT attention since it's the only way they'll make money and be considered worth anything their whole lives. It's a mutually calculated group effort to bombard all of America with their image nonstop, and he's just as in on it as anyone else. And all the other people you mentioned lived at a time when celeb worship wasn't forced on us one tenth as much as it is today. It was actually possible to be an adult in the 70s without having the Osmonds or David Cassidy forced into your brain 24/7. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 17, 2011, 7:13 pm

South Park - TV Shows
South Park has not only has gross out humor since the beginning (about 15 years ago now) but it actually used to be a lot worse before Matt and Trey grew up. I used to refuse to watch it at all back in the day because of this. Now they at least use it to bash the right people, as opposed to just trying to offend for the sake of offending. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 17, 2011, 7:07 pm

Classmates.com - Websites
I hated high school. Why would I want to talk to any of them now, 20 years later? True story: I changed schools after 10th grade and for my old school's ten year class reunion I heard they were going to graciously allow me to come if I shelled out $200. Not that I'd have gone anyway. Oh, and did I mention this reunion just happened to fall on 9/11? -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 16, 2011, 7:04 pm

I heard the IRS is looking into this six months' pay thing and it'll soon become three months' pay, if you get my drift. (Rim shot.) -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 16, 2011, 6:58 pm

Ponies - Random Topics
This is a tough one. I don't have anything against ponies per se, I just hate how they've become a symbol of spoiled teen girls who routinely get them as gifts on their birthdays. And then probably totally ignore them after a week while someone else takes care of the poor things. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 16, 2011, 6:56 pm

South Park - TV Shows
It's not that I have any "bloodlust", I just want people like Sheen and Britney and Lindsey Lohan to get out of the news permanently. If the only way for that to happen is for them to die from their hedonism (and apparently it is), then so be it. I'm just sick and tired of people like this being talked about 24/7. And then afterwards they can finally contribute to society for a change when their bodies are vivisected and inspected by scientists to see how any human can consume so many drugs and stay upright and conscious for so long. I'd like to know the answer to that one myself. BTW I loved the episode mocking Paris Hilton. Who apparently doesn't abuse drugs as much the others since I don't recall her being in the news recently. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 16, 2011, 6:22 pm

Outsourced - TV Shows
FF, that's my reaction to about half the shows on TV today. LOL -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 15, 2011, 5:34 pm

Pandora - Random Topics
So according to the description Pandora creates the illusion of giving you a choice before forcing unwanted change on you without your permission? Seems about right for today's world. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 15, 2011, 5:25 pm

Zales Jewelers - Random Topics
Wait, it's SIX months now??? When did this happen??? That's just great, now if I ever want to get married and spend only two months' pay on the ring she'll think I'm cheap and don't love her enough :-( -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 15, 2011, 5:22 pm

2001: A Space Odyssey - Movie Series
Travoltron I'm not surprised, seeing as we're living at a time when people love the bad and hate the good. And to be fair, the movie really is too slow-paced for today's dumbed down audience used to rap[d-fire clips and sound bites. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 11, 2011, 12:58 am

Sopranos, The - TV Shows
Disagree again. In real life loose ends are frequently never resolved, but this is entertainment. That's why people in that business get paid the big bucks. And in entertainment if loose ends aren't resolved at the end of an 8-year show, then why am I watching? I just don't believe people watch shows for years just to see things be even more muddled plot-wise than when it began. That's why there was such a backlash about Lost. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 11, 2011, 12:53 am

2001: A Space Odyssey - Movie Series
Sadly, this movie could never be made today because it requires the viewer to have an attention span longer than 30 seconds. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 9, 2011, 6:05 pm

Sopranos, The - TV Shows
Disagree. The infamous blank screen ending was extremely condescending and didn't treat anybody like an adult at all. It was just something the writers thought up to feed their own egos. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 9, 2011, 6:02 pm

Twilight - Movie Series
Also, Twilight boned for me personally when I found out my mid 30s sister was reading the series. Truly horrifying. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 9, 2011, 5:58 pm

Twilight - Movie Series
But Soggy9000, that's part of the problem. The entertainment industry panders to teen girls far too much. They're not the only people out there who watch TV and movies and listen to music, you know. The rest of us would like a bone thrown our way every now and then. Why are teen girls so special anyway that what they like has to overrule everything else? DOWN WITH TEEN GIRLS, I SAY!!! IT'S TIME TO TAKE AMERICA BACK FROM THEM!!! WHO'S WITH ME?! -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 9, 2011, 5:57 pm

New York Yankees - Random Topics
HA!!! Good one Soggy9000!!! I've got one: rooting for the Yankees is like rooting for Bill Gates to win the Powerball lottery. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 9, 2011, 5:52 pm

Rebecca Black - Music Groups
Okay cool. Glad that's straightened out. There really is no part of that song or the creation of it that's defensible. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on April 6, 2011, 7:52 pm
