My Two Dads - TV Shows
I think this show originally was supposed to be about 2 gay men raising a daughter, but in the 1980's, it was considered to be too controversial for American television so they made it about 2 best friends who years earlier, had dated the same woman around the same time and when she died, she named both of them as "guardians" of the daughter; not saying which one was the actual biological father. Anyway, it was a cute show. Paul Reiser and Greg Evigan were great. -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 19, 2010, 8:26 am

Amen - TV Shows
I'm white, too and I totally loved this show. I loved the really old white-haired man who was in just about every scene but didn't say a whole lot. But when he did, it was hilarious! -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 18, 2010, 7:33 pm

Fatal Attractions (Animal Planet) - TV Shows
Well, it's not "sensationalistic" like those "Attack" shows. It's very well done and notes the seriousness of these people's obsessions. They also have commentary by psychologists. The Timothy Treadway documentary is a perfect example of people thinking they can dominate wild animals. Although, he went out and stomped on THEIR territory instead of having them as pets, but the mentality is still the same. -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 18, 2010, 7:31 pm

Courtship of Eddie's Father, The - TV Shows
OK, now the theme song is stuck in my head: "People let me tell ya 'bout my best friend...." -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 18, 2010, 10:02 am

Manhattan Transfer, The - Music Groups
No, but I bet it was hilarious! *goes to Youtube to find a clip* -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 18, 2010, 9:32 am

Fansites - Random Topics
Some fansites can be really cool, while others are made up of the total "fantards" and they get all territorial and bitchy. -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 18, 2010, 9:32 am

Rock music - Random Topics
There seems to be a resurgence of the arena/"feel good" rock, lately. Thank God!! -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 18, 2010, 9:29 am

Private school - Random Topics
Nothing against public schools, but a child get a much more solid education in a private school which prepares him/her for college. Usually, since the classes a smaller, the child gets more one-on-one tutoring, as well. -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 18, 2010, 9:28 am

Pam Dawber - Celebrities
Not only has she been married to hottie, Mark Harmon for over 20 years, they have raised two sons and seem to be the antitheses of the typical Hollywood couple. A tip of the hat to you, Pam. You go, girl! -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 16, 2010, 11:50 am

Patricia Arquette - Celebrities
She's perfect in her role in "Medium". Very believable. -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 15, 2010, 4:09 pm

Patrick Swayze - Celebrities
Patrick Swayze was great in everything he was in; Dirty Dancing, Ghost, Roadhouse, Donnie Darko, Point Break and even in that television mini-series "North and South." But what I most remember him for is when he hosted Saturday Night Live and had the dance-off with Chris Farley as a Chippendales dancer. LOL! His show, The Beast, was very good but sadly, he passed away. RIP, Patrick. -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 15, 2010, 4:00 pm

Tommy Lee Jones - Celebrities
Tommy Lee Jones will always be Woodrow Call in "Lonesome Dove". Best line: After he beat the hell out of a guy for hitting his son, he calmly climbs back onto his horse and mutters to the onlookers: "I hate rude behavior in a man. I won't tolerate it." -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 15, 2010, 3:55 pm

Knighthood - Random Topics
What's the purpose now? Obviously, it's a "title" only. It's not as if when someone receives a knighthood that he must immediately go out a slay a dragon and rescue a fair maiden. Other than being labeled as "Sir", do any other perks come with it? Like discounts in restaurants or car rentals? -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 15, 2010, 3:48 pm

Four Weddings - TV Shows
It's so heartwarming to see a beautiful, sacred moment, such as a wedding, be turned into a reality show competition, where a bride is judged on what "the overall experience" is for those in attendance. I say, Bitch, please, you ain't paying for this! It's MY wedding...and I'll do whatever the hell I want! -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 15, 2010, 7:58 am

Fatal Attractions (Animal Planet) - TV Shows
Unless someone's career is doing biological/zoological research, there is no damn reason to own a Gaboon Viper! Seriously? I'm sorry for the families of these fatalities, but anyone who has a venomous snake or a snake who is big enough to wrap around you and kill you, is a very troubled individual. Love the episode of the guy who was bitten by one of his many venomous snakes and while he's in the hospital...the cops went to his house to secure the snakes and find all this bomb-making paraphenalia! When the guy wakes up from his snake-bite induced coma, the cops are like: "OK, you're going to jail!" At times like that, you can't help but wonder that maybe the snake who bit him was just practicing "natural selection". -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 15, 2010, 7:51 am

I Married Dora - TV Shows
Isn't this the show where the cast announced the cancellation during an episode? Something like: "Surprise, we've been cancelled!" -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 14, 2010, 9:19 pm

Bret Michaels - Celebrities
One can't help but like Bret; he seems like a nice guy and I'm glad he pulled through his anuerysm scare in April, but his "Rock of Love" shows....ewwww. Now, he's got another reality show on VH-1 that shows him interacting with his two daughters and baby-mama. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if his daughters grew up to be strippers. -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 6, 2010, 3:06 pm

Keith Olbermann - Celebrities
Funniest thing I ever saw re: this douchebag was a couple of years ago, Ben Affleck did a parody of him on SNL! -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 6, 2010, 2:59 pm

God - Random Topics
I totally agree with DolFan and Robert! All this hatin' on God is just foolishness! -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on November 3, 2010, 3:00 pm

Crossing Jordan - TV Shows
This show wasn't about ghosts or spirits...that's "Ghost Whisperer". This show was actually very entertaining. Jordan Cavanaugh's bi-polar behavior was a bit extreme at times and her blatant disregard for authority was unrealistic, but it was a TV show so it was entertaining. The dude from "The White Shadow" that played her dad, was annoying with his fake Boston accent: ("Johdon! Johdon")but thoroughly enjoyed the other supporting characters, as they were intriguing and multi-dimensional. -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on October 21, 2010, 2:22 pm
