Nirvana - Music Groups
Hair metal fans seemed to really have distaste for Nirvana. I've heard everything from Nerdvana to Get on My Nervesvana. My introduction to them was when my classmates were passing around Nevermind in May of 92. I was never a fan, but I knew of them. With that said, Nirvana boned with that song, Rape Me. I understand where they were coming from, but try telling anyone that you're listening to Rape Me and adults over the age of 41 will look at you funny. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 9:32 pm

Whitney Houston - Music Groups
Whitney Houston was gorgeous in the late 80s and for most of the 90s. Her second and third albums were never as great as the first. She never boned the fish. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 9:22 pm

Ziggy Marley - Music Groups
I don't remember hearing anything off the second album for this guy. I was never a fan of that Tomorrow People song. That coupled with Don't Worry Be Happy scarred my ears for life. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 9:18 pm

Mariah Carey - Music Groups
And then a fish was boned and had no free will to carry on. Radio stations played Hero to death. I loathe that song. She boned with that single alone. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 9:16 pm

In Living Color - TV Shows
I don't know which one was funnier on this show, Keenan or Damon? Damon was THE show for me back in the early 90s. Now as I look at it, I love Keenan as the head detective. Damon was Homey the Clown, and who can forget his catchphrases? Damon and Keenan both have likeable faces. Once they both left, the show went downhill. This show launched so many careers. I wouldn't even know of Jamie Foxx if not for his stint as Wanda. When Marlon became cast member, the dynamic of the show changed quite a bit. Damon was still on the show, so I didn't notice anything. Once they lost most of the original cast, the fish was served with slaw. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 8:59 pm

Boy Meets World - TV Shows
Day one. This show was a reverse version of The Wonder Years. Let us observe....Older brother? Check. Sister? Yep. One male best friend? Check. Love interest that was once a friend? Yes. Savage brother as a lead? Check. This was nothing but a ripoff replacement because Fred Savage was too old for another season of The Wonder Years. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 8:12 pm

REAL Ghostbusters, The - TV Shows
The Ghostbusters were the tried and true heroes of the 1980s. Everyone wore the shirts in 1985, so the cartoons and toyline followed. The fish was out of water with the second season episodes. The fish was boned when the show became Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters. Then, the fish was served with coleslaw once they changed the animation and music for the fifth season. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 8:06 pm

MC Hammer - Music Groups
I spent almost all of ninety two singing Too Legit 2 Quit. I loved the In Living Color sketch where Tommy Davidson playing Too Sold Out to Quit. By then, Hammer was doing KFC commercials, had a doll and a cartoon. MC Hammer was everywhere in the early 90s, basically. MC Hammer jumped with his 95 album because he tried to go hard, but everyone still saw him as the head honcho of the cheesy pop-rap scene. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 7:59 pm

Arsenio Hall Show, The - TV Shows
Like everyone has said already, this was the hottest show on television in 1989. Who can forget the dogpound or his catchphrase, "Let's get busy". I wasn't permitted to watch this one because it came on after my bedtime. I remember teachers and teenagers talking about it in the hallway. I mainly saw it during the summertime or saw ads for it during commercial breaks. It first almost boned when Arsenio lost weight. He was still funny shortly after it happened, but the show was never the same. It became more apparent that he was a terrible interviewer during the third season. I love how he put Vanilla Ice in the hot seat. I thank him for that. Also. I was grateful for it because of the SNL Carsenio sketches. The last iconic moment of this show was when Bill wore the Ray Bans and played that saxophone. The show became filler after that. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 7:51 pm

Different World, A - TV Shows
It's a different world, it's a different world, from where you come from. It seemed way to unbelievable that Whitley Gilbert could fall for Dwayne Wayne. She must have been on something. There were many opportunities for the fish to be boned with this one. They found the Underground Railroad at Hillman. Lisa Bonet left and that annoying other girl came along (the one who found the Underground Railroad). Dwayne Wayne lost the flip-up glasses when most of America were buying them from flea market vendors. Dean Cain was a racist in a very special episode. Dwayne Wayne and Whitley went on a honeymoon in LA during the riots. Way too many scenes featured Dwayne and Whitley over the other characters. I'm sorry, but they just weren't that fascinating. Who can forget the new kids in town for this one? -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 7:34 pm

ALF: The Animated Series - TV Shows
I thought the Marvel Comics issues were better. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 7:23 pm

Nelson - Music Groups
I often reminisce over how the Nelson Brothers resembled Chip and Pepper in ninety one. I liked After the Rain, though I would never tell anyone that, openly. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 7:22 pm

DeBarge - Music Groups
Boned with that Who's Johnny song off the Short Circuit soundtrack. Gosh, I always hated that song. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 7:18 pm

Beastie Boys, The - Music Groups
I never understood the appeal to Fight For Your Right (To Party). Hey Ladies was plain annoying to me. Surprisingly enough, I liked Check Ya Head. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 7:15 pm

Anita Baker - Music Groups
Anita boned with Giving You the Best that I Got, but unboned with the third album. The beat to Fairy Tales never left my ears. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 7:12 pm

Wilson Phillips - Music Groups
I remember VH1 playing Hold On for what seemed like forever. They grew on me over the years. My favorite tunes are Repulsive and You're In Love. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 7:10 pm

Mighty Ducks, The - Movie Series
I was about to say it boned with the second film, then I gave it more thought. The series never boned. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 7:08 pm

Pizza Hut - Random Topics
Pizza Hut boned when they stopped the distribution of kids pizza packs. I remember the Land Before Time puppets, Back to the Future solar shades, Nickelodeon magazine, Eureekas Castle puppets, Ninja Turtles cassette tapes, Rocketeer plastic cups, Pirates of the Dark Water plastic cup, Disney's Beauty and the Beast plastic cups, Darkwing Duck set and the Garfield toys. Also, the pizza used to taste better even in the 2000s. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 7:06 pm

Huey Lewis and the News - Music Groups
Boned with that Stuck With You song. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 6:54 pm

Honey, I Shrunk the Kids - Movie Series
The fish was missing bits of its skin for Honey, I Blew Up the Kid. Keri Russell was very beautiful in that flick. Yeah, it boned with the third movie. I can tolerate the second one. -- Submitted By: (tvwatcher7) on September 13, 2014, 6:52 pm
