Adventures of Pete & Pete, The - TV Shows
Seriously weird show, but I loved it! Big Pete was so dense sometimes you wanted to slap him but then he would turn around and say something so unbelievably sensitive you wanted to hug him. I remember one episode where the Petes were fighting and screaming horrible things at each other and Big Pete realized it was up to him to stop it because his brother was too young to understand. Right in the middle of a vicious hurtful rant by Little Pete, Big Pete looks him dead in the eye and says, "I love you." It stopped Little Pete cold and he realized he loved his brother, too. Good stuff, it died too young. -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 10:56 am

Breaking Bad - TV Shows
Awesome, amazing, wonderful show! To the guy who hates it without ever seeing it, that's cool, to each his own. But I think it's the fact that he refused to watch even 2 minutes of it that it makes his comments idiotic. Anyway, Walter White is the best anti-hero to ever be on TV. Bryan Cranston's transformation from a sweet family man to a monster is truly amazing and he deserved every award he got for it and more but it was an AMAZING ensemble cast! Jesse, Hank, Gus, Saul, Skylar, Mike, all incredible and performed brilliantly! I think 100 years from now people will still watch it, long after Modern Family and Glee are long forgotten. -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 10:44 am

Malcolm in the Middle - TV Shows
I think it stayed on the air for too long like a lot of people said. It was funny and cute when Malcolm and Reese acted like idiots when they were 11 and 12 but not so much when they were 18 and 19. The character of Malcolm became a complete waste of skin and the biggest a-hole on TV. I actually heard a story on NPR and they actually referred to Malcolm in the Middle as "Bryan Cranston's sit-com before Breaking Bad. LOL! Take that, Frankie Muniz! By the Way Hal and Lois were the best part parts of the show. -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 10:32 am

Modern Family - TV Shows
Let me say this is a funny and clever show and I never miss an episode. BUT I have to agree with the anti-Manny club here, I can't stand him! He's smug, spoiled, obnoxious, and if he was a real kid he would get the snot beaten out of him in school every single day until he wised up. That would be wrong of course but it would totally happen. Sophia Vergara is amazing, truly amazing! I'm sorry they got rid of Dylan, he was very funny as the dumb-ass clueless older teen. We used to say in our house that Dylan was an older version of Luke. -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 10:19 am

New Adventures of Old Christine, The - TV Shows
Yeah the brother Matthew and Christine's ex, played by Agent Coulson from SHIELD, are the best things about this show. Christine was absolutely awful. I usually like Julia but I hated this character. I know it's wrong to hate on a child but the kid who played her son was so bad I turned off the show if he had more than a few lines. -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 10:08 am

Parker Lewis Can't Lose - TV Shows
My crazy mom gave me the boxed set of DVDs for Christmas. I really love it. It's hip, funny, and sweet without being lame and I agree Rob Bowman is one of the best TV directors ever. Parker and Mikey were very bromantic, lol! Maybe if it were being made today they would experiment some but back in the 90's it probably wouldn't get past the network censors. The story lines are classics and hold up very well, all about being scared and lonely, trying to fit in and realizing who your friends really are. -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 9:58 am

Eerie, Indiana - TV Shows
Good show and it has become a cult classic mainly because it only lasted 19 episodes and never, ever boned or jumped. It was supposed to be a throw-away Saturday morning kid's show but the writers and directors (Jose Rivera, Joe Dante and Bob Baliban)turned it into a vehicle for amazing story telling. Each and every episode was brilliantly written, directed and acted. The cast included John Astin, Tobey Maguire, Ray Walston, Stephen Root, Matt Frewer, Rene Auberjonois and Claude Aikens, some kiddie show, huh? Omri Katz, Justin Shenkarow, and Jason Marsden were so good as the main characters of Marshall, Simon, and Dash. It's on most of the streaming services like Netflix and Hulu, seriously, go watch it! Check out this story I found on fanfiction.com, it's really good and captures the heart and soul of Eerie, Indiana: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/10174455/1/Friends-and-Family -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 9:44 am

Vikings - TV Shows
Love this show! Love it! Ragnar is over-the-top awesome even if he tends to be a little on the murdery side, lol! Life back in the 9th Century was tough, peeps, and guys like Ragnar and his crew did what they had to do to make a living. Sure, they raided and killed but they were stuck in frigid, barren, rocky, medieval Norway for god's sake. To their credit, they kept saying they wanted to colonize warmer lands and become farmers so they could stop all the looting and maiming but the snooty English didn't want them for neighbors. First rate show, beautifully filmed and acted, watch it! -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 9:28 am

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo - TV Shows
Why hasn't Child Protective Services taken those kids away? Or is this show just more staged "reality" crap from Hollywood? Feeding a grossly overweight child caffeine loaded sugar water so she will act crazy for the camera is complete child abuse! Mama June should take her huge butt and her sketti recipe and go live in Squalor Holler with her trash friends but give her kids to someone who will give them a chance of growing up to be decent people. -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 9:17 am

Marcus Welby, M.D. - TV Shows
My grandmom loved this show and asked me to watch an episode with her on DVD. Six hours later I was still watching, she finally made me go home, it's THAT good. I don't get why some people think it was stupid or not realistic. Doc Welby was the sweet old grandfather figure but he knew his stuff and would totally talk smack to you if you deserved it, he even punched out one guy he caught stealing drugs from his office. In that first binge watching I saw great stories about drug addiction, child abuse, illegal immigrants (and how they are exploited) and other really good ones. Brolin was awesome as the young bad-ass doc who rode a motorcycle and had the bedside manner and tact of a grisly bear, lol! -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 9:11 am

Glee - TV Shows
Like a lot of people I watched an episode because I wanted to see the gay kid. Turns out he is the most annoying, stereo-typically offensive gay character ever on TV! The gays I know, both male and female are great, normal people busy with their lives. The kid on Glee is a super drama queen who is so full of himself he would jump over a dying friend in order to get to the mirror so he can kiss himself. Disgusting Hollywood garbage. -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 8:54 am

Middle, The - TV Shows
I hated this show at first but gave it a chance and a couple of episodes later became a fan. It's not about the kids so much as it is about the parents dealing with them. I agree Neil Flynn and Pat Heaton are super together, very much an old married couple who love each other but seldom get mushy about it. -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 8:42 am

Bates Motel - TV Shows
Wow, is this show kinky! Weird and disturbing doesn't even come close to describing it. Norman has a full on bone for his mom and likes to get cuddly with his brother when he isn't trying to murder him. So far the kid has killed his dad, his friend's dad, his teacher, and god knows who else. To see sweet young Freddie Highmore play a loony tunes sex-crazed serial killer is pretty disturbing. Just think, Charlie Bucket from Willie Wonka grew up to be Norman Bates! It really is a good show, Freddie is awesome and so are the people who play his mom and brother! -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 8:37 am
