McMillan & Wife - TV Shows
The only reason to watch this show was to see Mrs. McMillian in the bedroom wearing one of Mac's shirts knowing that there was nothing on underneath. Man was she hot! -- Submitted By: (Pete) on September 15, 2013, 4:34 am

John Denver - Celebrities
He did represent the 70's and a bit of the 60's; groovy; groovy; groovy. Too bad his career ran out of gas. -- Submitted By: (Pete) on September 15, 2013, 4:30 am

Barack Obama II - Celebrities
I can't understand why "our President" doesn't use his experience which earned him the Nobel Peace Prize to resolve the Syria problem. And by the way "Mr. President"; you and Congress work for us and Congress is supposed to vote as their constituents want them to vote; not as you want them to vote. And one other thing "Mr. President"; our government is not a democracy; it's a republic. -- Submitted By: (Pete) on September 7, 2013, 6:39 pm

Denzel Washington - Celebrities
I agree with the comments; I would watch any movie that he is in. And Denzel is a class act; something that is rare in Hollywood these days. -- Submitted By: (Pete) on September 7, 2013, 6:28 pm

Charles Manson - Celebrities
If ever someone deserved to die it is this whacko. I say execute him the way his followers executed their victims. Oh, I'm sorry; that would be cruel and inhumane. -- Submitted By: (Pete) on September 7, 2013, 6:26 pm

Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom - TV Shows
BrewMaster; you hit the nail on the head. Even at 8 years old I thought that Jim was getting the short end of the stick. But overall it was a decent show. -- Submitted By: (Pete) on September 7, 2013, 6:21 pm

Family Affair (1966) - TV Shows
I watched a few of these shows a couple of months ago and noticed how the editing was "not consistent" with the "flow" of things. Kind of like on My Three Sons where they show Steve having a conversation with "anyone" and the flow is not smooth. Of course this is due to the fact the Fred M. only filmed a few days, (if that), per week. Back to this show. The whole premise is a bit far fetched; even for TV. One would think that Bill would help "payroll" the raising of the kids back in their hometown with the other relatives. Especially since he was gone half of the time due to work. -- Submitted By: (Pete) on September 7, 2013, 6:05 pm

Falcon Crest - TV Shows
Another show that started out good but evolved into a total soap opera where once again there was way too much air time given to the supporting characters; especially the last few seasons. It was interesting that both Chase and Maggie both drowned. Although Chase jumping into the water and not resurfacing was kind of lame. Maggie; well I won't comment on her. -- Submitted By: (Pete) on September 7, 2013, 6:00 pm

Rizzoli and Isles - TV Shows
This show started out pretty good but, (like Bones), the writers felt the need to put into the show the "funny moments" which aren't needed. Then you have the ex-con brother; mother; and probably 4 more "sub characters" getting way too much air time. I can't comment on the last couple of years because I just can't bring myself to watch it anymore, (just like Bones). -- Submitted By: (Pete) on September 7, 2013, 5:43 pm

Elisabeth Rohm - Celebrities
I think that Elizabeth is a good actress. She deserves a lot more praise and respect then she gets. As far as the ADAs on Law and Order I think that she was the best; both in looks and ability. -- Submitted By: (Pete) on September 1, 2013, 3:12 pm

Jennifer Lopez - Celebrities
Like Julia Roberts; way over rated. This unfortunately is true of probably 75% of the "actors/actresses" out of Hollywood. And I'm referring to the "A List"; not the B List; C List; D List; E List; etc.... -- Submitted By: (Pete) on September 1, 2013, 3:08 pm

Have Gun, Will Travel - TV Shows
This show was to say the least "fantastic". The hero actually showed "manners" and "moral beliefs". He would only use violence when absolutely necessary. You would never get away with that nowadays. I hope that this is available in DVDs; I'm sure it is and I will ask for that for Christmas. -- Submitted By: (Pete) on August 27, 2013, 6:49 pm

Tom Cruise - Celebrities
I actually liked his earlier films; in fact I'm watching The Firm right now. The thing that I have always disliked about his acting is that the guy cannot shut his mouth when there are no words coming out of it. Just watch him; he stands there "gaping". Didn't his parents teach him to shut his mouth when not talking? -- Submitted By: (Pete) on August 18, 2013, 1:41 pm

Wal-Mart - Random Topics
I can still remember the Wal-Mart ads that proclaimed "we sell only American made goods". I agree with the previous Post about Sam spinning in his grave. -- Submitted By: (Pete) on August 18, 2013, 1:13 pm

Superman - Random Topics
Superman turned his back on America? Not surprising when you think of how many times Obama has apologized to others for the way "America has acted over the years". I'm still waiting for him to apologize to Germany and Japan for the way we beat them in World War II. -- Submitted By: (Pete) on August 18, 2013, 1:03 pm

Nobel Peace Prize - Random Topics
I couldn't agree more some of the comments here about Obama winning; what a joke. Of course he admitted surprise and a little embarrassment at having won it. However you didn't see him say no the money he got with the prize; now did you? -- Submitted By: (Pete) on August 18, 2013, 12:56 pm

NFL Pro Bowl - Random Topics
NFL Pro Bowl - aka The Fluff Bowl. I've seen more contact in a ping pong game. The "game" is a joke; especially now that it is "played" the week before the Super Bowl. Obviously this "game" is sponsored by the Hawaii Promotional Board. -- Submitted By: (Pete) on August 18, 2013, 12:48 pm

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts - Random Topics
Like Julia Roberts; way overrated! -- Submitted By: (Pete) on August 18, 2013, 12:33 pm

Titanic - Movie Series
There are actually at least three Titanic movies; not just the latest one. The other two were better than the Jack/Rose version. The best part of watching the Jack/Rose version at the movie theatre was when Jack started to "sink below the water" and a good portion of the audience started cheering; I just broke out laughing at that reaction. Of course my wife nor any other women in the audience thought that it was funny. But I sure did. -- Submitted By: (Pete) on August 18, 2013, 12:20 pm

Three Men and a Baby - Movie Series
Sorry but the sequel was a joke. And who couldn't tell that Ted was the minister at the wedding? Even my wife found it to be a waste of time, (and that's saying something since Selleck was starring in it). -- Submitted By: (Pete) on August 18, 2013, 12:07 pm
