True Jackson, VP - TV Shows
As... Well, as extraordinarily STUPID as the premise of this show is (a teenage vice-president, are you kidding me?), it actually wasn't all that bad of a show. I'm forced to show a modicum of respect for Keke Palmer, who cut her acting teeth here; in addition, the show was kept from being about a group of bratty, whiny, spoiled teenagers. Even if they are basically stupid teenagers. But, True Jackson, VP went the way of iCarly and Hannah Montana before it: A stupid show, with a stupid plot-line, inexperienced actors, peppered with guest stars, aimed at tween girls, will inevitably become unbearably silly. -- Submitted By: (Oleander29) on June 26, 2012, 11:58 am

That '70s Show - TV Shows
I enjoyed every season of That 70s Show, though I do agree that the quality declined after Hot Donna became a blond, and was even worse when Eric left. A note on Chuck Cunningham Syndrome: In addition to Tina Pinciotti's disappearance (which was unfortunate, but there were already more than enough characters), Midge mentions Donna's older sister Valerie in one episode. Laurie and Midge both fly in, fly out, fly in again; Midge's return being most improbable as she, a (partially) liberated woman and now divorcee returns to fight over her ex-husband. As Bob goes through Midgey withdrawal, he finds comfort in Jackie's mother (a different actress than Jackie's mother in the first season, by the way) and in Joann; both actresses promptly disappear. If I remember correctly, even Leo disappears for a while. These secondary characters didn't take too much away (we still had the necessary Red and Kitty, Eric and Donna, Kelso and Jackie, Hyde and Fez), but when the show suddenly ripped from us two of our main eight characters, that's when it boned. -- Submitted By: (Oleander29) on June 26, 2012, 11:41 am

Brady Bunch Hour, The - TV Shows
Since Jan made the original Brady Bunch for me, and then we had no Eve Plumb for the Brady Bunch Hour, then the answer to this is pretty clear. It would have been better off with 5 kids. New Jan aside, the show was crap. -- Submitted By: (Oleander29) on June 26, 2012, 11:14 am

Barney & Friends - TV Shows
I don't think that we, as adults (and by adults, I mean people who have long outgrown Barney), have much right to talk about how bad the show is/was. It's... Well, yes, it's extremely annoying. But little kids like it. I liked it. My parents were glad to put it on for me, and I enjoyed watching it; it was a huge staple of my TV time. It boned when they brought out two more annoying dinosaurs; one big giant possible-pedophile dino was bad enough. -- Submitted By: (Oleander29) on June 26, 2012, 11:08 am

Keeping Up With The Kardashians - TV Shows
I have to ask... Why are these whiny brats famous again? -- Submitted By: (Oleander29) on June 26, 2012, 10:52 am

Judging Amy - TV Shows
It was a surprisingly good show that eventually grew to suck horribly. Especially since Amy's daughter was a real female canine (like her grandmother, but at least Maxine had charm). The show began to die, IMO, when Maxine almost got married but then the actor died in real life. That and the stalker. I will say that one of my favorite scenes is when Donna was dancing to show-tunes with a delinquent teenager. I loved Donna! -- Submitted By: (Oleander29) on June 26, 2012, 10:51 am

iCarly - TV Shows
Speaking as a straight teenage male, I enjoyed the first season. And that's unusual for anyone in my demographic. Like most boys, I'm like, "Oh, just another Hannah Montana show," I rolled my eyes and changed channels. Then I actually watched an episode and found it quite funny. But the peak of the show was in the first season; everything got sillier and more colorful and more unrealistic and more painful to watch, and by the third season, I was done. I hear it's still going... I find that rather sad. The two amazing starlets of this show, Miranda Cosgrove (one of the few teenage female actresses I have any respect for) and Jeanette McCurdy (oh, yeah, she's okay too), deserve way better than this. -- Submitted By: (Oleander29) on June 26, 2012, 10:34 am

Hogan's Heroes - TV Shows
"I KNOW NOTHING!!!" Classic. I love Hogan's Heroes and I can't say it ever boned. Every character was lovable in their own way; Hogan, Schultz, Klink, Newkirk, LeBeau, Carter... And a word about Kinch: How could the writers be racist? Aside from the fact that many of them were Jewish (including several actors), Hogan's Heroes was one of the first TV shows to cast a black actor in a non-Sissy type role. Even more groundbreaking for that time, Kinch's blackness is alluded to several times, but it was never a central part of the show. He was another one of the guys; extremely unusual for shows of this era. -- Submitted By: (Oleander29) on June 26, 2012, 10:27 am

Gidget - TV Shows
I was sad when they took Gidget reruns off the air. Yeah, it was bubble-gum TV (if there is such a thing); but Gidget had energy and an excellent relationship with her father. She never came to be spoiled and bratty like so many other TV girls (Marcia Brady, DJ Tanner, Rudy Huxtable, etc.), and was always someone who would make you happy. -- Submitted By: (Oleander29) on June 26, 2012, 10:12 am

Apprentice, The - TV Shows
I enjoyed the first season of the show, and a couple of the later seasons. What really always ticked me off is anytime The Donald picked someone really stupid as winner. (Prime example: That evil Kendra beating Tana? AYFKM?) But once they started with Celebrity Apprentice the show became like Dancing With the Stars: A place for washed-up celebrities to bask in a little fame again. And, bam, we got idiots and no-names like NeNe Leaks, Dennis Rodman, and an endless parade of models trying to be smart. Oh, yeah, and freaking Omarosa came back... It became a bunch of celebrities wearing suits and proving to you how much you hate Hollywood. -- Submitted By: (Oleander29) on June 26, 2012, 9:41 am

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (TV series) - TV Shows
After how badly the Ace Ventura movies came to fail (IMO anyway), I don't see how anyone could ever have thought it was a good idea to make a TV series out of it. They shouldn't even have made a T-shirt out of it. -- Submitted By: (Oleander29) on June 26, 2012, 9:33 am

Cosby Show, The - TV Shows
Thank God I'm not the only one who found Olivia unbearably annoying! -- Submitted By: (Oleander29) on June 26, 2012, 9:29 am
