Rachel Maddow Show (TV series), The - TV Shows
My respect has only grown for Rachel as I have continued watching her on television. Unlike most television pundits who spend an hour shouting inane talking points, Rachel calmly and logically discusses current political issues and explains their history. Rachel apparently has such a good reputation for fairness and good dialogue that conservative pundits - such as Michael Steele - are constantly appearing on The Rachel Maddow Show for interviews and reactions to current events. Why some right-wingers seem to hate Rachel so much is beyond my understanding, unless the reason is that they just hate liberals who are articulate. -- Submitted By: (Mad_Hatter84) on March 25, 2012, 4:32 pm

M*A*S*H - TV Shows
Like a fine wine, M*A*S*H only improved with age. As the seasons wore on and the seventies became the early eighties, M*A*S*H evolved from slapstick anti-war comedy to dramatic television that accurately portrayed the ravages of war. What a lot of M*A*S*H fans don't seem to realize is that the characters also evolved. Margaret, for example, started as a relatively two-dimensional character: a martinet and a foil for Hawkeye and Trapper. In later seasons she outgrew those traits and evolved into a much more three-dimensional character who was able to draw from her inner strength. Hawkeye, too, became less an infallible hero as we began to see some of his less savory personality traits (the preachiness, for example). Even Klinger evolved from starting as a one-shot character who wears dresses. M*A*S*H only got better with time, which is why it is one of the best television series ever made. -- Submitted By: (Mad_Hatter84) on March 25, 2012, 4:24 pm

Roseanne - TV Shows
For me, it was a change in the humor that "boned the fish". Roseanne cracked jokes about the members of her family in the earliest seasons, but the jokes were delivered with a wink. You could believe that Roseanne really loved her family and was just having a bit of fun at their expense. But in later seasons, the humor seemed to take a turn for the mean-spirited. -- Submitted By: (Mad_Hatter84) on March 25, 2012, 4:12 pm
