Wilfred (US series) - TV Shows
This is a rare success. It is rare for the US to remake a successful foreign comedy without completely stuffing it up. With Wilfred, they have managed to retain the essence of the Australian version, primarily because the 'dog' remained Australian. -- Submitted By: () on October 14, 2011, 9:10 am

Boned when some little hot-house flower AL pitcher gets a vaginal tear running 90 ft while playing the real NL game. -- Submitted By: () on October 13, 2011, 8:36 pm
ER - TV Shows
Especially ridiculous moments: Abby and Carter get hot and bothered during quarantine (isn't every quarantine a good time to get yer flirt on?); the entire cast becomes a bunch of sexy teen model types; bald guy crushed by helicopter; Pratt given the worst killing off ever on a TV show; the red-headed doc who is incompetent suddenly morphs into a medical dynamo; Lucy killed/Carter stabbed (can you say melodrama?; Croatian guy has anger management issues; Sam shoots dead her ex-husband and then blithely goes on as if nothing happened and the show never mentions it again; but the worst moment for me was the helicopter chopping off bald guy's arm because this was the most gratuitous and unnecessary moment I've ever seen on TV (excluding every episode of CSI ever made). -- Submitted By: () on October 13, 2011, 7:57 pm
All in the Family - TV Shows
Hey #5: Maude and The Jeffersons were spun off years before Mike and Gloria left. Further, Mike and Gloria didn't divorce until many years after leaving, late in the run of Archie Bunker's Place, when they tried to spin off a show for Gloria--cleverly titled "Gloria." At least get your "bone the fish" moments correct! -- Submitted By: () on October 13, 2011, 7:42 pm

Occupy Wall Street - Random Topics
These "protesters" in releasing their list of demands have shown themselves to be akin to a pack of 6 year olds demanding cake and ice cream for every meal. Those who act like 6 year olds should be treated as such, Ignored until they become belligerent, then spanked and sent off to a quiet corner. And no, there is nothing unconstitutional about it. We are guaranteed the right to >peaceably< assemble and petition our government for redress of grievances, not pie in the sky fantasies. -- Submitted By: () on October 13, 2011, 7:35 pm
This Old House - TV Shows
I can only echo what the other posters have said, this was a very good idea in the beginning but now its a show for people with million dollar budgets. -- Submitted By: () on June 13, 2011, 2:52 pm
Avengers, The - TV Shows
The British censors were focused on keeping violence on the show to a minimum. The American censors were focused on keeping Ms Rigg fully clothed. In other words, the British censors were worthy of our disdain, and the American censors were worthy of our white-hot hatred. -- Submitted By: () on June 1, 2011, 1:35 am
Reno 911! - TV Shows
I didn't see the last season so I can't comment on its quality. But it's hard to imagine the show without Garcia. -- Submitted By: () on May 15, 2011, 11:35 am
John C. Reilly - Celebrities
Johnny Cash has no special significance to me. Neither does John C Reilly. The only "cheesy formula" is an attitude of exagerated self-importance from second rate comedians who try to convince us they're lampooning some "cliche". Actually this is a way of selling crap to the public which lacks originality and just isn't funny. Your babbling about "sacred cows","cliches" is just your own exaggerated sense of self importance. None of these biopics are alike. The writers, producers and actors in movies like this know the kind of pseudo-critics who will buy this as parody of "sacred cows" who take themselves too seriously and need to learn to have a good laugh over their brother's death.
Thank God we have John C Reilly and people like you (and the writers and producers) who have taught us all to laugh at death. Thank you

Fatal Attractions (Animal Planet) - TV Shows
Finally saw an episode last night and I absolutely approve. The media usually glorifies people like this and it's refreshing to see a show that doesn't. In fact, this show is a public service. I think anyone with a Beastmaster fantasy would get a reality check by watching it. -- Submitted By: () on April 22, 2011, 2:05 pm
Sliders - TV Shows
I wouldn't mind this show being brought back or remade. It had a great concept that was all too frequently not used to its fullest potential. -- Submitted By: () on April 7, 2011, 1:14 pm
Conspiracy Theories - Random Topics
The ease with which someone with a decent imagination can spin a conspiracy theory from ANY set of events or circumstances - and then find hordes of people dull-witted enough to buy it - ensures that such theories will always be with us. (Never mind that almost all of them break down when exposed to Uncomfortable Truth Number One of Human Behavior: "Humans Are Terrible at Keeping Secrets.") -- Submitted By: () on April 7, 2011, 4:06 am
World Wrestling Entertainment - Random Topics
PLYrulz, that is very true. The WWF did complete against WCW and later on ECW for the ratings. Vince had the amp the action up just to keep up with them especially with ECW. Personally I didn't mind the WWE being PG that much though, as long it is enjoyable for everyone. -- Submitted By: () on April 6, 2011, 6:49 pm
Tea Party - Random Topics
The Tea Party began to lose credibility when it went from a gathering of sensible fiscal conservatives to a movement dominated by the not-so-sensible evangelical right. (I'm not sure exactly when that transformation occurred, but it's unfortunate that it occurred at all.) Would the TP ever throw its support behind a fiscally conservative proponent of small government who also happened to be an atheist? Not on your life. -- Submitted By: () on April 6, 2011, 3:30 am
Heroes - TV Shows
I agree with kingbk, I think the writer's strike is what killed the show. Season 2, I think they planing big but because of the strike, they rushed the season finale. By the time season 3 comes around it didn't felt like the same show as before. -- Submitted By: () on January 16, 2011, 9:12 am
Keeping Up With The Kardashians - TV Shows
I can't believe this crap is so popular that it spawns spin-offs like Kim goes to NY, Kourtney in Miami, etc. It shows what America has very low standards nowadays when it comes to watch shows to entertain. What's next for a spinoff Kris Jenner in the toilet. Thanks Ryan Seacrest for dumbing down America entertainment value further than it is already is. -- Submitted By: () on January 15, 2011, 5:49 am
2000s - Random Topics
Wow, the 2010s suck so much right now in terms of the entertainment industry and many other things, it makes the 2000s look awesome! Then again, it's a little too early to tell, being that this is only the second year of the decade. We'll see how it turns out, and hopefully, it won't be so terrible, but that's wishful thinking. -- Submitted By: () on January 5, 2011, 1:22 am
Arthur - TV Shows
I agree with you Mr.Zimpy, the best Arthur episodes was the earlier seasons mostly s1 and s2. The rest of Arthur I think is about Franice is jewish, Prunella's blind friend, etc. I also agree Arthur hitting D.W. was the only best part of that episode because DW deserve it. -- Submitted By: () on January 3, 2011, 4:28 pm
MTV: Music Television - Random Topics
This channel used to show music videos, but soon they became hands down the worst channel on tv by showing nothing but incredibly stupid reality tv shows featuring untalented hacks, internet nobodies, washed up hacks, and wannabes. They also showcase incredibly lame and talentless (c)rap artists who never even lived in the "ghetto" and would scream like a little bitch if someone pulled out a butterknife in their faces. The rock bands are faggots who call themselves punk when real punks would kick the fuck out of them and lame ass "metal" bands who are pussies wearing makeup and tight pants and lack any sufficent amount of talent other than screaming in a microphone and playing the same 1 chord over and over for 4 minutes. The other "artists" are horrible pop singers who are either underage, have severe gender ambiguity, and lack any talent other than singing with machines and autotune to help them "sing". The worst part is that all of the garbage is targeted towards children, who grow up to be skanks and douchebags. The media watchdogs don't bother trying to advocate against this horrible station because they are too busy rallying against videogames. Even though videogames have been proven to have no violent impact on children. They fail to notice MTV is broadcasting soft-core pornography, violent images, and is teaching children that if they are not like the people on this channel, they are freaks and misfits. MTV is the devil in true living form. One can hope this channel is destroyed, for if not, it will continue to destroy humanity. All I can do is pray for the future of mankind.
