Facebook is really BTF making this new 'Timeline' mandatory. It should be optional. Zuckerberg & Co. must be trying to see how much they can raise the bar on privacy invasion. -- Submitted By: () on January 25, 2012, 11:49 am

Martin Lawrence - Celebrities
you guys are crazy. "Martin" was one of the better 90s sitcoms due mostly to him. (no disrespect to the other stars) -- Submitted By: () on January 25, 2012, 12:06 am

Earth Day - Random Topics
Travaltron, I have to admit that I'd never heard of Ira Einhorn's association with the first Earth Day organizers. I've spent some time looking up primary sources since you mentioned this and, to the best of my comprehension, it seems he was the emcee of that first rally [and he HAD been a bigwig in Philadelphia counterculture circles prior to that]. It wouldn't be the first (or last) time an organization gravely erred by thinking a loudmouth would be beneficial in helping to jumpstart a cause. How could someone emcee an event without having any part in helping to organize it? Instead of saying Einhorn hadn't had anything to do with it, I think it would have been far better had they just lumped it and said [at his trial] 'Yeah, we made a horrible mistake in choosing him to emcee the thing and we're sorry he used that clout to help seduce a trusting girl whom he evidently would murder and stuff in a trunk!' It was hardly the first [or last time] an organization of any stripe has believed that having an obnoxious loudmouth at the front of the ranks would only have positive benefits [rarely if ever does this happen]. I am not an Earth Day supporter or organizer but I DO believe that we as individuals do need to consider what's best for the environment because we're on a planet with 7 billion other people and counting with ever decreasing resources, etc. I agree that some environmentalists have had rather skewed priorities, DolFan[e.g. the lightbulbs]. In addition to the BP Oil Spill Disaster nonaction, I'd also like to add something a little closer to home- the TVA Kingston Fossil Plant Coal Slurry Spill that ruined many acres and private homes- the environmental effects still are being felt. Yet, despite this disaster from the leaking coal ash pond, there's been no call to transfer slurry from other existing ponds near residential areas to safer containments even though this disaster proved this method extremely unsafe and doomed to failure without constant and proper human maintence. I guess the point I'm making is that regardless of the poor judgments/whacked priorities of some of the higher ups, I believe it's important for us to consider what we each can do to help keep as much of our planet as habitable for as long as possible. I mean, doing nothing and pretending there are no consequences of pollution makes as much sense as becoming cat hoarders. I think a better approach rather than considering making positive steps the equivilant of having 'freedoms' taken away would be to consider said steps a kind of game like scrap iron drives and victory gardens were to my parents' generation in World War Two with the idea of believing we were GAINING our freedom by contributing to a worthy goal. OK, I'm ready for the negative votes but I thought the above needed to be said.[and I most sincerely hope Einhorn rots in his prison for what he did to that poor girl regardless of anything else ]. -- Submitted By: () on January 24, 2012, 1:07 pm

American Gladiators - TV Shows
I say day one, American Gladiators made Professional Wrestling look realistic. -- Submitted By: () on January 23, 2012, 9:04 pm

Deadliest Catch - TV Shows
The Harris boys blow up after Captain Phil Harris passing killed the show for me. Some things should not have been televised. -- Submitted By: () on January 23, 2012, 8:58 pm

Kathie Lee Gifford - Celebrities
I think I the last time I heard about Kathie Lee Gifford was about last year when she became the Today Show host, not sure she still does though. -- Submitted By: () on January 23, 2012, 7:41 pm

Kelly Clarkson - Celebrities
I don't have a problem with her. She's a pretty good singer and I find her cute. Her music is not my favorite, but she's not bad. -- Submitted By: () on January 21, 2012, 10:29 pm

NCIS - TV Shows
I hated when McGee started wearing that stupid black coat in season eight with the collar turned up to hide his long, skinny pencil neck. -- Submitted By: () on January 19, 2012, 6:34 am

Girlfriends - TV Shows
This show definitely boned when Toni left. I still watch the re-runs on Centric though, and I've noticed they only show the ones before Toni left. Could it be that they agree? -- Submitted By: () on January 18, 2012, 10:28 pm

United States Congress - Random Topics
Our Congress has really boned trying to pass the SOPA and PIPA bills.. While I'm against piracy, these proposed bills will also have negative consquences on our freedoms if they are passed.. -- Submitted By: () on January 18, 2012, 2:08 pm

Micky Dolenz - Music Groups
Mickey Dolenz was always my favorite Monkee. He always seems to come off as a really likeable guy (I would hope he's like that IRL). I read his autobiography 'I'm A Believer' several years back. It was a really interesting read if you ever have a chance to pick it up. -- Submitted By: () on January 18, 2012, 11:30 am

Starsky and Hutch - TV Shows
I HATED this show, but the movie was ok. The only thing good in either case was the car. -- Submitted By: () on January 17, 2012, 9:50 am

Lea Thompson - Celebrities
I'd like to bone that fish! -- Submitted By: () on January 17, 2012, 9:49 am

Jim Nabors - Celebrities
He was great in not one but two sitcoms as Gomer Pyle. He also has an unbelievable voice and has recorded many great albums. Furthermore he lives in Hawaii and loves racing. A few years ago the United States Marines actually gave him an official promotion to Corporal. He is now unboneable. -- Submitted By: () on January 17, 2012, 2:50 am

Hawaii Five-O - TV Shows
They shouldn't even include the new Hawaii Five-O with the classic. No one beats Steve Garrett. The new Hawaii Five-0 is like CSI Hawaii/Miami Vice with a couple of pretty boys driving sports cars around shooting up the bad guys without getting their hear messed up. Yuck! -- Submitted By: () on January 17, 2012, 2:45 am

Blind Melon - Music Groups
I still have their first album and as i recall it was quite good even without No Rain -- Submitted By: () on January 16, 2012, 5:35 am

Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations - TV Shows
One of the best travel and food shows - period. Tony Bourdain has a slick sense of style and an irreverent look at life - but always respectful of different cultures and the hospitality he is shown. You'll learn a lot about the world in ways you never expected. Bone marrow, anyone? -- Submitted By: () on January 14, 2012, 3:50 am

George Lopez - TV Shows
1. I hated what they did to Carmen's character. 2. I hated that they made Max seem so STUPID. Unrealistically so. 3. Benny's Character was just awful. That said, I still mostly liked the show. -- Submitted By: () on January 13, 2012, 3:20 pm
