Movie Series - Mickey Mouse cartoons

Mickey Mouse is a comic animal cartoon character who has become an icon for The Walt Disney Company. Mickey Mouse was created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks and voiced by Walt Disney. The Walt Disney Company celebrates his birth as November 18, 1928 upon the release of Steamboat Willie. The anthropomorphic mouse has evolved from being simply a character in animated cartoons and comic strips to become one of the most recognizable symbols in the world. Mickey is currently the main character in the Disney Channel's Playhouse Disney series "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse." Mickey is the leader of the Mickey Mouse Club.

1 This is GREAT news! The new management at Disney seems to be making some interesting, but good moves. I remain cautiously optimistic. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on March 13, 2013, 10:11 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
2 Disney is producing 19 new Mickey shorts to air on the Disney Channel. From what I've seen the have an odd retro early '60s look to them. But Mickey & Minnie now look very similar to their 1920's incarnations, which I like. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on March 12, 2013, 7:01 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
3 Umm.... What Mickey Mouse Cartoons? Disney channel doesn't show the classics. Of course, what they do show, with Mickey and Donald, is horrible. I remember Donald used to be an angry, incoherent little duck. What happened there? Did he take anger management? Did Chip and Dale spike Donalds', Mickeys' and Goofys' drinks with lithium? It's boring now! -- Submitted By: (Jp) on September 21, 2011, 3:56 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
4 He used to be mischievous. Then he became Disney's mascot character and got watered-down. Probably happened around the time his character design changed and he became "Caucasian Mickey", as Matt Groening calls it. Mickey Mouse Club and Walt no longer doing the voice were also BTF moments. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 6, 2011, 5:25 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
5 They don't seem to show classic Disney (or Looney Tunes) cartoons anymore. Kids today are missing out. -- Submitted By: (Robert) on March 4, 2010, 8:44 am - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
6 Of course Mickey Mouse never nuked/jumped/boned. He is the star of Disney, and ONLY the star of Disney! -- Submitted By: (SVN) on April 25, 2009, 7:39 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
