TV Shows - Reno 911!

RENO 911! is an American comedy television series on Comedy Central that debuted in 2003. It is a mockumentary-style parody of law enforcement documentary shows, specifically COPS, with comic actors playing the police officers. Most of the material is improvised, using a broad outline, and with minimal scripted material.

1 I didn't see the last season so I can't comment on its quality. But it's hard to imagine the show without Garcia. -- Submitted By: () on May 15, 2011, 11:35 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
2 The second season ended in charging all the officers and shutting down the Reno sheriff's office. The end of the show. Always intended to be with no opening left to continue it. When DVD releases boosted sales, Comedy Central got the really bad idea to bring it back from cancellation and pretty much ruined the show. Don't bring a show back if you already closed it up. Bad idea. -- Submitted By: (TheCeej) on April 22, 2011, 5:59 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
3 BTF when one season ended with a fiery car crash that had absolutely NO REASON to happen (it just veers off the road into some random building) and when the new season starts some of the deputies are DEAD and the remaining original ones act like they never even existed!!!! WTF??? -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on August 19, 2009, 6:40 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
4 After five strong and hilarious seasons with the original cast unchanged (with the exception of the addition of Deputy Kimball, a very welcome and funny addition) I was nervous for the top of the sixth season when it was shown that Clementine, Garcia, and Kimball, had been written out of the show, with no explanation really, even within the show, it's offhandedly mentioned by Dangle that they died i the fire at the end of the previous season. I think I would've been fine with the remaining deputies continuing on without them. There's this new Asian secretary who's become a funnier character to me, and several standbys are still funny, like Terry. They have some new ones that aren't clicking though, and most of all, the two new deputies are terrible. Truglio's Rizzo is obnoxious and has very little screen time anyway. What he does have he doesn't make much use of. Roberts' Declan is completely the opposite. He's a screenhog, he has to fill every available moment with his incessant chatter, and he is not funny. So that throws them off and with the loss of original members Garcia and Clemmy, the remaining original cast (Dangle, Junior, Jones, Williams, and Weigel) can't seem to get it back together. The sixth season did not make me laugh once. -- Submitted By: (SamuraiPanda201) on July 21, 2009, 12:54 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
