I liked this show. The cast was great together. It was great to see Laura's assets every week. She was so adorable. Wendy Malick was awesome as the smarmy ex-model, as well as that weasel David Spade. It worked well for me, I didn't miss an episode for several seasons. -- Submitted By: (Englebert) on January 26, 2014, 4:17 pm - (6 votes) - Login to Vote
I didn't think David Spade was that bad in this. I thought the whole "George Segal is his pretend dad" thing was kinda funny, especially when you see what his real dad is like (played to a fault by Brian Dennehy). -- Submitted By: (ParkerTillman) on October 9, 2012, 4:03 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
It's a overall funny show but it boned when they added a new character on the show. The girl with the brooklyn accent add nothing to the show, she's a real-life Poochi. Haven't they learned from the Simpsons -- Submitted By: (SSM) on January 12, 2011, 2:29 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Since the early episodes with her roommate don't ever turn up again, I say Day One (of the Spade era) it Boned. Lots of good guest stars but none of the main characters were enough to keep my interest. Good concept - poor delivery. -- Submitted By: (baldrick) on May 19, 2010, 7:55 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
All I know is, Laura San Giacamono's breasts were HUGE. But after a while even they weren't enough to keep me watching what with David Spade's ever annoying persona. Seriously, that dude's played the same character on different shows for the last 20 years! -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on May 3, 2010, 3:17 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Definitely Season 4. The writing went from fresh to suck-fest overnight, being a classic case of "New Kid on the Block" in the form of one Rebecca Ramaijn-Stamos (who suddenly became the cover-model for many issues of "Blush" magazine)-- as well as the production-team, which also changed in Season 4. Characters suddenly changed and became even more one-note than usual, to the point where the show finally earned its title and had the audience saying "Just shoot me." -- Submitted By: (SarahGoodwich) on May 2, 2010, 8:35 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote

This show was hilarious! The funniest episode, IMHO, was the ones with Elliot's brother. This guy was a total con-artist, who had fallen out of a tree when he was a kid, and for his entire life since then, pretended to be very "simple" from the head injury, so people would be nice to him. If anyone asked him a question he didn't want to answer, he'd just say "Chicken pot, chicken pot, chicken pot PIE!!" He had everyone totally convinced. Then, he had to come clean because he thought Maya was hot and was wanting to hook up with her and did'nt want her to think he was an idiot. -- Submitted By: (Stephanie) on October 21, 2009, 11:27 am - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
