You almost got your wish: The Gecko found himself in a desert with falling props (piano, etc.). The roadrunner ran over, stopped to greet him, then ran off, followed by Wile E. Coyote, who stopped to get a better look at the gecko. How often do I see a commercial for Geico car insurance? Every single commercial break. Read that carefully: EVERY. SINGLE. COMMERCIAL. BREAK! Though the Mockney Gecko's an improvement over the Interrum Silent Gecko (who let the aappearantly personality-free CEO do the talking),NEITHER of them beat the Original Gecko with Kelsey Grammer's voice! And the Cavemen were only worth a feeble, labored chuckle the very first time. I first heard of Geico in a mail advertisement, circa 1996. I found a little form that compares the insurance you have now versus that of Geico, plus price comparisons, and how much you can save. I first found their commercials on a local station in early 1998, back when it was "Geico is better than ACME Insurance". From there, the commercials got funny and clever, and suddenly, I became a big Geico fan! Now we have the Gecko, the Caveman, and Kash (with the big "googly" eyes)! 11 years later, I'm still enjoying these ads!
