Starting in 1993, this originally showcased many classic recipes and chefs for aspiring home cooks and restauranteurs. Currently, while it still has such intellectual personalities such as Alton Brown and Ina Garten, these seem to becoming displaced in favor of louder,broader and ,some would say, more obnoxious performers such as Rachael Ray, Paula Deen and Guy Fieri.
