Kid Rock Comments (You must Login to Comment)

You know, I think he acknowledged what kind of a talent he is. I'll take a lyric from one of his songs called American Badass. "I know it stinks in here, because I'm the shit!" Yes you were and are, Kid Rock, you're the shit. The BAD kind of shit. Metallica should have sued your balls off instead of Napster for ripping their sound off from Sad But True, you talentless hack. -- Submitted By: () on September 27, 2014, 1:41 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I really hate that All Summer Long song, no relation to the Beachboys song of the same title. It is one of those songs you can only bear to hear once, like the typical novelty song(eg. Because I Got High). I had to change the station when it came on a second time. Not to mention, it ruined the songs "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Werewolves of London" for me. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on July 16, 2013, 7:08 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Not a fan, never have been. Tries to be the jack-of-all-trades with his music, but instead falls flat in any of them. Comes off dirty, uneducated and red neckish with his faux rebel act. "All Summer Long" is one of the worst songs I've ever heard, and not just because it rhymes "things" with "things" or mashes together two classics in "Sweet Home Alabama" and "Werewolves of London" and desecrates them... wait, yes, that's exactly why I hate that song. Day one for me. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on July 16, 2013, 1:46 am - (3 votes) - Login to Vote
I'm as openminded as anyone, but I've never understood this guy's appeal. To me his fame is as inexplicable as Meat Loaf's was, back in the day. (At least Meat Loaf is a likable guy, whereas Kid Rock just strikes me as a snot.) -- Submitted By: (Soggy9000) on June 6, 2011, 2:15 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I actually think that he is worthless commercial, gimicky attempt to cash in on the rap, thrash, screamo, emo trends and isn't worth a fuck in the first place. To the best of my knowledge he can't sing, dance, play an instrument, or even look interesting let alone come up with a decent tune. Why is this guy famous in the first place? I'm sick of these screamy mimi types anyway. Has he got his own show on VH1 yet? -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on February 9, 2011, 6:13 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I actually think it shows he's very multi-talented when he does other musical genres. But I am not a fan of him. -- Submitted By: (Mr.Zimpy) on January 3, 2011, 4:50 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
cartooner, I heard a deejay put it quite well when he said country music could HAVE Kid Rock if they'd let us [rock music fans] have Lady Antebellum! LOL -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on December 23, 2010, 8:31 am - (-1 votes) - Login to Vote
Experimenting different music styles is fine, but Kid Rock is very inconsistent in his musical direction, to the point where I don't even know what genre he's in anymore. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on December 21, 2010, 10:00 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
It's another typical celebrity of this era - no real talent or claim to fame - just a gimmick - wasn't he dating Pamela Lee? Enough said? -- Submitted By: (lrbloom) on November 30, 2010, 8:46 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I wouldn't call him some hack with no talent, but he should stick with one kind of music. I can understand maybe dipping into different kinds of music to make it unique, but the way Kid Rock does it bones him. -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on February 12, 2010, 3:18 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I love how Kid rock seems to represent everything the "never boned" liberal voters and people from Europe hate about America but since he's a celebrity it's perfectly fine. Know what I mean? -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on February 12, 2010, 12:24 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
This is a hack that has the nuts to get up and get it. See how far he made it with no talent? -- Submitted By: (fletch000) on February 8, 2010, 10:42 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
he BTF loooong before "All Summer Long" -- Submitted By: (jra313) on January 21, 2010, 9:59 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Looking forward to the time Kid organizes a massive police sting in which a bunch of pedophiles are taken off the streets because they can't read the damn concert ticket correctly. -- Submitted By: (Replicant10k) on September 26, 2009, 8:44 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Kid Rock just needs to pick a direction and go with it instead of trying to be this rocker/rapper/country guy all in one. Hell, his songs all sound about the same no matter what he tries to be anyway. -- Submitted By: (DolFan316) on July 13, 2009, 4:44 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
He looks like he'd be sticky if I touched him and the tooth gnashingly banal "All Summer Long" makes my ears bleed. -- Submitted By: (BrewMaster) on July 11, 2009, 10:48 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
How did he all of a sudden become a country star? that would be like Brad Paisley all of a sudden doing rap music. -- Submitted By: (MCS) on June 17, 2009, 11:53 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
