Two and a Half Men Comments (You must Login to Comment)

From "Don't Miss TV" to "Must Miss TV". It's about time they put this one to rest. -- Submitted By: (jimdcarter) on October 13, 2014, 3:33 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
You watch 2 and a Half Men to see Charlie Sheen play Charlie Sheen. Without him, there was no show. -- Submitted By: (KappaMan) on October 2, 2014, 9:10 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
I heard they are giving up and are only doing one more season, thank god! It used to be 'don't miss' TV for me but if I miss it now, no big deal. The Ashton Kutcher episodes I have seen were awful and filthy. When Charlie was around the sexual situations were funny and classy, now it seems the show is just one big dirty joke. A recent episode revolved around Alan getting a tick on his junk and he went around making everyone look at his swollen balls, it was repulsive. They should have stopped making these when Jake hit 16, it would have been remembered as a classy, funny show but now it's legacy is one of vile toilet humor and raunchy jokes. -- Submitted By: (martymarty) on June 7, 2014, 11:50 am - (10 votes) - Login to Vote
OMG how long are they going to keep this dead horse on the air? I just read that Angus T. Jones is NOT a regular for next season despite reports to the contrary. So of the original characters they have exactly two left: Alan and Berta. Gone already or not coming back: Charlie, Evelyn, Jake, Judith, Herb, Rose, Gordon, and Dr. Freeman (Jane Lynch). The show was funny when Jake was small but started smelling when he reached his teens. I say about 5 seasons would have been a perfect run for this show, which would have delighted most producers but not Chuckles Lorre! He will milk a show until it has exactly zero appeal and more people hate it than like it, which seems to be the case here. I tried to watch a few of the Ashton Kutcher episodes but when they started doing song and dance numbers I swore off this show forever! Angus, buddy you did the right thing and got the hell out! -- Submitted By: (jmac9909) on July 11, 2013, 9:02 am - (11 votes) - Login to Vote
This has got to be one of the most mean-spirited, sexist and downright unpleasant shows to have ever been made. I do not see any appeal it in; this was from first contact. The jokes are either vile, crude or condoning poor beahviour. By sexist, it treats women poorly and gives men a bad name and influence - nobody wins! That being said, I am certainly not a prig in television; some great shows like Seinfeld and Becker have unpleasant characters but either they have some depth to liking them or there are repercussions and/or other characters not taking kindly to their actions. Here they are just pricks you are expected to find likable and charming from the get go - no! -- Submitted By: (johnnydough) on June 10, 2013, 9:08 pm - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
I quit bothering with it ages ago due to its consistent nastiness and it's been so long since I've heard from anyone who admits to liking it, I'm wondering WHO could be watching it. Oh, and HOW will it be 'Two and a Half MEN' with the fed-up Angus T. Jones's exit and them apparently bringing aboard the late Charlie's long lost DAUGHTER? Since when is a girl the equivalent to 'a half man'? -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on June 2, 2013, 1:42 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
With Charlie gone, this show hits a new low each week. I have given this show many second chances before, but I am so done with it now. -- Submitted By: (jimdcarter) on May 27, 2013, 11:29 pm - (8 votes) - Login to Vote
Okay, so the ratings on this crappy show continue to be high, but this show has gotten worse and worse with each season. With the half man(sort of speak) thinking about leaving next year, are they still going to call it Two and a Half Men? Or will they shorten it to Two Men? Or maybe they will pull a Cousin Oliver and bring in another kid. Either way, this train wreck of a show needs to end right away. I am pretty sure that if it didn't follow the Big Bang Theory, it would have gone off the air by now. -- Submitted By: (JayD) on May 1, 2013, 6:50 pm - (8 votes) - Login to Vote
Why oh why won't CBS just finally put this dying dog to rest? It's never been that funny, but it's really not funny anymore. Two main characters are gone after this season and it's just showing it's age. Does Jon Cryer need a pay check that badly? -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on April 29, 2013, 12:15 pm - (13 votes) - Login to Vote
Angus T. Jones, who plays the kid/young adult, has announced that he is leaving the show, at least as a regular. -- Submitted By: (cartooner) on April 27, 2013, 4:50 pm - (7 votes) - Login to Vote
What frustrates me is the crappy schedules CBS gives its better shows, and gives THIS one a great time slot on Thursday, and the audience shares (ratings)for said shows suffer a little as a result -- Submitted By: (stryker73) on February 12, 2013, 8:05 pm - (8 votes) - Login to Vote
I wish it didn't take radical religious beliefs for the kid to realize the show is garbage. -- Submitted By: (kingbk) on February 4, 2013, 4:50 pm - (8 votes) - Login to Vote
Angus \"The 1/2 Man\" Jones had this to say about his show, \"Please stop watching it. Please stop filling your head with filth.\" Can\'t disagree with him and applaud his courage(?) to say it, but it just reinforces what I said before about this kid never finding work in Hollywood again after 2 1/2 Men ends. He seems to be following in the Kirk Cameron career path. -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on November 26, 2012, 8:42 pm - (5 votes) - Login to Vote
Season Six JUMPED THE SHARK. The writing just went to crap, and the show lost all chemistry among the characters as they went from dysfunctional to one-dimensional. Jake went from a slacker to an idiot, Alan went from a loser to a whiner, Charlie became a plain bully, and Evelyn actually cared about someone other than herself. Maybe this is why Charlie Sheen got in a fight with Chuck Lorre over the series, but it's a noticeable shift. This might have happened around Season 5, with the "Teddy Leopold" arc; Charlie was having a breakdown over Mia getting married, and then suddenly he's proposing marriage to Courtney/Jenny McCarthy. In any event, Season Six was where it jumped. -- Submitted By: (SarahGoodwich) on September 9, 2012, 5:59 pm - (7 votes) - Login to Vote
Miley Cyrus and her bad haircut will be on this show next season (the 10th) Break out the filet knives! -- Submitted By: (stryker73) on August 23, 2012, 10:07 am - (8 votes) - Login to Vote
The show was never great, but with Charlie Sheen it was watchable. Now that they've added Ashton Kutcher, the show is a complete trainwreck. Jake is hardly on the show now and for a while I thought Chuck E. Cheese Lorre killed him off as well. When he is on he's stoned out of his mind. Ashton Moore isn't funny and neither is his British girlfriend. I've heard that Ashton now makes more $$$ than Jon Cryer per episode. Poor 'Alan' can never catch a break, even in real life. -- Submitted By: (Justintime) on May 15, 2012, 2:22 pm - (7 votes) - Login to Vote

It's become the Kutcher & Cryer show.. it seems the other "1/2" only makes brief cameos nowadays..nothing like it was during the early seasons.. i guess as long as CBS & Chuck Lorre are making millions off this show, they don't care how bad it gets -- Submitted By: () on February 20, 2012, 9:31 am - (8 votes) - Login to Vote
If you think about it, this show is like the male version of the Golden Girls. Charlie is Blanche, the promiscuous one and both were the homeowners, Alan is Dorothy, probably the smart one, both divorced and usually the ones most receiving ridicule. Jake is Rose, the dumb one and Berta is Sophia, blunt and never sugarcoating what they think. The humor reminded me lot of the Golden Girls. I guess 2.5 men w/ Kutcher is now like Golden Palace. -- Submitted By: (JamesO) on January 24, 2012, 9:46 am - (9 votes) - Login to Vote
