1 I used to watch this channel more than any other when I was in high school, mainly for the music that was played during the ads/segments that got axed when it became "The TV Guide Channel" The music was very catchy and I am not ashamed to admit that I would grab a VHS tape and record it whenever it aired. I still have said tapes to this very day! Of course, they had those silly infomercials that I wonder exactly how many people actually fell for them! I liked the "Trivia" and "Family Vue" segments, and also the "Intervue" segment hosted by Jim Ferguson where he would interview some celeb. In 1998, they changed the format making it more fast paced and MTV-like. During that time, they gained a new logo and axed the aforementioned segments. However, TV Guide killed it in 1999! In a nutshell, I am one of the people who enjoys the simple pleasures in life and I miss this channel. P.S. Does anyone know what became of the aforementioned Jim Ferguson? -- Submitted By: () on January 19, 2014, 9:56 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
