Adventure Time, formerly known as Adventure Time with Finn and Jake, is a 2010 cartoon series which premiered on Cartoon Network. In a surreal world, a boy named Finn and his dog friend Jake go on adventures. They meet many different characters, including the half-rainbow half-unicorn Lady Rainicorn, Princess Bonnibelle Bubblegum, Marceline the Vampire Queen, Lumpy Space Princess (aka LSP), and Beemo (aka BMO). The main antagonist is the Ice King, who kidnaps princesses in the hope that one of them will agree to marry him.

I'll admit, I thought this show was stupid at first. The character design is hyper-simplistic, the commercials made it look idiotic, and the characters screaming throughout one commercial was annoying. One day, I said, "OK! OK! I'll watch it already!" It's an acquired taste. When an episode has a good plot, it's not bad, but when the plot's incoherent, it's not good. Like Thickaman said, it's the voice actors that get your attention: Jake being voiced by John DiMaggio.
