I caught this show later, and it did grow on me. Jack Tripper and Peg Bundy were great together. The kids were all pretty good, and the writing was just starting to take off until the horrible tragedy. I liked that Kerry Hennessy, she was hot. Never thought Bridget was all that hot, though. Still don't see what all the fuss is about her on her current show. -- Submitted By: (Englebert) on January 26, 2014, 4:54 pm - (4 votes) - Login to Vote
John Ritter was ok but the character I really liked was Rory. He was so cute and all-boy, always trying to protect his older sisters, that's completely adorable! I was thrilled when he finally got his monkey. -- Submitted By: (sharp143) on October 4, 2013, 1:05 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
I think it was really brave to try to continue the show after Ritter's death. If they could have explored that and maybe shown a few clumsy attempts at dating or something it could have been a masterpiece. but David Spade is my number one reason to turn OFF the tv. He was like a grown-up Oliver!! -- Submitted By: (Tedward) on April 4, 2013, 6:57 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
Great, funny show that launched the career of the awesome Kaley Cuoco and featured the bestest TV mom and dad ever: John Ritter and Katie Segal! I agree they should have ended the show when John died, maybe done a few episodes to wrap up and that's all! Instead they hire the insipid David Spade, yuck! Even the great James Garner as grandad couldn't save this show, too bad. While Ritter lived, it was one of the best sitcoms to ever escape Hollywood! -- Submitted By: (jmac9909) on March 28, 2013, 4:23 pm - (1 votes) - Login to Vote
RIP to the late, great John Ritter. ♥ -- Submitted By: (LauDor08) on November 10, 2009, 1:19 am - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
It was a great show, but John Ritter's death was too much for any show to overcome, had they recast the role instead of retooling the show it might have survived, but that would have been too disrespectful to the memory of a great actor. RIP John Ritter, your rooming with Jesus now -- Submitted By: (gpshaw) on April 7, 2009, 10:54 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
