TV Shows - MasterChef (USA)

MasterChef is a 2010 American competitive cooking game show, co-hosted and co-produced by Gordon Ramsay. It debuted on July 27, 2010 at 9 pm ET/PT on the Fox Television Network, following one of Ramsay's other series, Hell's Kitchen. MasterChef is based on the first season of the Australian format, produced by FremantleMedia Australia, which in turn was based on the BBC series MasterChef. Chef, television personality and restaurateur Gordon Ramsay together with restaurateur and vineyard owner Joe Bastianich and chef Graham Elliot are the judges in this new version of MasterChef. The US version, however, has some deviations from the Australian version.

1 This season is boring. I mean, I got used to the little beefs between the contestants and the judges. Or the diva with expensive shoes who rarely makes to the elimination round. Then again, the older career changer was fun but I guess that formula got old. Bring back Tommy from Season 6! Now they have a whiny baby with a suit and tie, several all knowing cooks with zero personality and panel judges with just a little character worth remembering. No wonder they are not airing new episodes during the Summer Olympics. -- Submitted By: (jwswindell) on August 16, 2016, 5:11 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
2 I never miss an episode of this show, however I wish they would stop doing the team challenges and just do the mystery boxes and elimination challenges every week. -- Submitted By: (MvGSports) on July 18, 2015, 1:00 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
3 Excellent story, Friedrich! Let's especially keep this mind when folks try to foist their underaged kids on alleged 'reality' shows! P.S. As for the MasterChef's crowd 'stunt', can we all agree that this was a rather half-baked notion?LOL -- Submitted By: (Pelirojo) on June 26, 2011, 6:55 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
4 So if I see the Philadelphia Phillies win the World Series on TV, that isn't real?!? :( -- Submitted By: (PYLrulz) on June 24, 2011, 5:57 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
5 I was a Radio/TV/Film major in college for a time. In the very first TV class I took, the professor got up to the podium and the first thing out of his mouth was this: "If there is ANYTHING I want you to come away with after spending a semester in this course it is this- NOTHING you see on TV is real. NOTHING." Predictably, one of the students raised their hand and asked "What about the News?" His response was "I repeat- NOTHING you see on TV is real." -- Submitted By: (Friedrich_Feuerstein) on June 24, 2011, 9:41 am - (2 votes) - Login to Vote
6 They got caught digitally faking a crowd scene. Looks expensive. I thought the point of reality shows is that they're supposed to be cheap? http://i.imgur.com/maWde.jpg -- Submitted By: (Travoltron) on June 22, 2011, 11:07 pm - (0 votes) - Login to Vote
