TV Shows - F.B.I., The

The F.B.I. was a popular American (ABC) TV series which ran from 1965 to 1974. It starred Efrem Zimbalist Jr as Inspector Lewis Erskine, and aired Sundays at 8 p.m. Episodes were billed as being based on actual F.B.I. cases; Director J. Edgar Hoover was listed as a consultant, and it was rumored that every script had to meet his approval.
