Ghost in the Shell is a Japanese futuristic police thriller. The main protagonist is a cyborg named Motoko Kusanagi, a member of a covert operations division of the Japanese National Public Safety Commission, aka Section 9. She is capable of superhuman feats, which she uses to help fight tech crime, which the unit specializes in.
